Barbie Heads and Hair Monsoons

Hey doll hey. Hope the day finds you with plenty of spoons.

So remember when I said I made a lot of changes? Some were health related and some where hair related, gulp …. OK so here’s what I did to my head….

In February  I decided I was a red head

Anyone who lives in Florida can tell ya that the water here is hell on hair color … and it doesn’t help that I hit the pool pretty hard this year. But I also liked the color that my hair lightened to

So much so that i didn’t color my hair again for a long while (from February until October… that’s  a record for me) which gave my hair this amazing chunky  ombre effect …

So October comes in and I went dark…

So I decided to color correct and … gulp …. attempt to bleach my own head ….

I hadn’t noticed until my hair dried that I was bald in some areas… and the hair rained down like it was monsoon season … on one particularly bad hair breaking day I brushed my hair only to find a barbie head stuck in my brush …. enter the shock you are about to  have . … are you ready to see my new look? … gulp … here we go…

I gotta say it’s kind of freeing … saves me time on getting ready, showering, and I don’t have to worry about bad hair days for a while…. or accidentally overdosing on dry shampoo between blow outs.
