BH Cosmetics Face of the Day

Hello dolls. How’s your Sunday going? I woke up in heaps of pain today and my RA is acting up again today. I think that’s because I couldn’t take my Humira this week because I have a cold.

Well I purchased a bounce of BH Cosmetics stuff to review for you. This post will be a face of the day and my next post will be the review as it will be a long one. So let’s get started. Please forgive the hair, it’s the week I normally would do my OLAPLEX treatments but I’m out of product and currently waiting my shipment which wont be here until Wednesday.  Side note, I will be doing an OLAPLEX review when the products arrive.

Today I tried my hand at a halo eye look and think it came out pretty good. It doesn’t film that good but in real life it’s a great halo look.

Base: I used Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer ($54 at Sephora and Hourglass’ website). I used BH Cosmetics BH liquid Foundation Naturally Flawless (regularly $9.50 on sale for $5.70 on the BH Cosmetics website ) in the color 208 Medium Beige. The concealer I chose was the BH PRO Total Coverage Concealer (regularly $6 on sale for 3.60 on the BH Cosmetics website) in the color 111 Medium with Neutral undertones. I set my whole face (including under eye) with the BH Studio PRO Matte Finish Pressed Powder (regularly $9.50 on sale for 5.70 on the BH Cosmetics website) in the color 230. I bronzed my face with the BH Cosmetics Brilliance Bronzer (regularly $10 on sale for 3 on the BH Cosmetics website) in the color Bronze Babe.

Eyes: I primed with Tarte Shape Tape ($27 T Ulta) in the color Light Medium Honey. The palette I purchased did not have a flesh tone in it so I set my primer with Wet n Wild Color Icon ($.99 cents at Walgreens) in the color Creme Brulee.  I purchased the Love in London eye shadow palette from BH Cosmetics (regularly $16 on sale for $6.40 on the BH Cosmetics website). As my first transition shade I used Big Ben (a dusty peach). My second transition shade is Lovely (an orange base brown). For my crease color and the outer and inner 1/3 of my lids I used Piccadilly (a red based medium brown). On the center 1/3 of my lid I used Lolly (a rosy pink metallic shimmer). On the bottom lash line I used Lovely and Piccadilly. For my inner corner highlight I chose Cheeky (a pale cream metallic shimmer). My brows are as they have been the past few days … ELF Ultra Precise Brow Pencil and Wow Brow ($5 and $4 respectfully). I chose not to line my upper lids because I was really loving the smokey look to this halo eye. For my water line I used BH Cosmetics Power Pencil (regularly $8 on sale for 2.40 on the BH Cosmetics website) in Beige. For my lashes I used the Loreal Voluminous Primer ($5.99 at Target) and The Balm What’s Your Type? ($19 on the Balm website) as I have been using the past few days.

Cheeks and Lips:  I purchased the Glowing in Greece 6 color blush and highlighter palette from BH Cosmetics ($16 on teh BH Cosmetics). To highlight my cheeks I chose Athens ( a light peach with gold reflect). For blush today I am wearing a combination of Mykonos (a dusty peachy coral) and Paros (a bright poppy). On my lips today I am wearing BH Cosmetics Liquid Lipstick (regularly $9 on sale for $7.65 on the BH Cosmetics website) in the color Rosey Raye (a dusty mauve rose).

Well that’s the look I came up with with my new BH Cosmetics makeup. Hope you enjoyed it. Stay tuned tomorrow when I review the first of the Coastal Scents Revealed Palettes.

Ta ta for now and remember dolls. Always save a spoon for a bit of lipstick.

XOXO
