Hey dolls!!! Hope your day is going good. Today is going good for me… low pain, day high spoon day, and new makeup was delivered today…. I slept in until 8:30 am today…. I hate getting a late start to the day but my body really needed the extra sleep.
I’m having a bad hair day, but I really love how my makeup turned out today… so let’s get into it…..
Base: I primed using the It Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Primer ($38 on their website). I primed my pores and the space between my brows with ELF Poreless Putty Primer ($8 on their website). I color corrected using Tarte CC Undereye Corrector ($25 at Ulta) in Light-Medium. For foundation I picked Urban Decay Stay Naked Weightless Liquid Foundation ($39 at Ulta, Sephora, and their website) in 41 NN. I concealed my under eyes with Benefit Boi-ing Cakeless Concealer ($22 at Ulta) in No 5. I set my under eye area with RCMA No Color Powder ($15 at the Beautylish website) and set the rest of my face using Loreal Infallible Pro-Matte 16-HR Powder ($7.29 at Target) in 200 Natural Beige. I warmed up the face using ColourPop Pressed Powder Bronzer ($8 on their website) in Talk to the Palm. I then baked the jaw line with more RCMA No Color Powder.
Eyes: I primed my lids with Tarte Shape Tape ($28 at Ulta, Sephora, and their website) in Light-Medium Honey. For today’s eye look I used the Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette ($49 at Sephora and on their website). I set the Shape Tape using Peaches ‘N Cream (a mid-toned cream matte). I chose Candied Peach (a mid-toned true coral matte) as my transition shade. As my crease color and outer 1/3 of my mobile lid I chose Summer Yum (a mid-toned terra cotta matte). On the inner 2/3 of my mobile lid I chose White Peach (a white satin). I then took a combination of Just Peachy (a pinky coral with a gold shift satin) and Bellini (a light pink with a gold reflect shimmer) and used that on my middle 1/3 to blend the outer and inner colors together. On my lower lash line I took the color Summer Yum and then buffed that out using Candied Peach. I highlighted the inner corners with Hikari Cream Pigment ($15 on their website) in Honey Dew. I lined my waterlines with The Blam Mr. Write Eyeliner Pencil ($13 on their website) in the color Seymour Datenights. I did my eyebrows using Benefit Precisely My Brow Pencil ($24 at Ulta and their website) and Benefit Gimme Brow Gel ($24 at Ulta and their website) in 4.5 and then I carved my brow line out with BH Studio Pro Brow Highlighter ($5 on their website) on the matte side. I then set the brow line with the color White Peach from the Sweet Peach Palette. I primed my lashes using Loreal Voluminous Primer ($6.79 at Target) and for mascara I chose The Blam What’s Your Type? ($19 on their website) in Black.
Cheeks and Lips: I just can’t get enough of the Glowing in Greece palette ($16 on their website) by BH Cosmetics and so I used it again today…. for blush I am wearing a combination of Mykonos (a pale peach matte) and Santorini (an orange based coral matte). I highlighted the tops of my cheeks, between my brow, above my brow bones, and the Cupid’s Bow with a combination of Athens (a pale champagne) and Olympia (a gold) highlighters from the same palette. I lined my lips with Kat Von D Everlasting Lip Liner ($19 at Sephora) in the color Lolita (a mauve toned nude). I filled in my lips using Too Faced Melted Matte ($21 at Ulta and their website) in the color Suck It (a berry toned brown matte) and then I topped the middle of my lips off with NARS Lip Gloss ($24 at Sephora and their website) in the color StripTease (a milky peach with gold flecks).
Final Thoughts:
Urban Decay Stay Naked Weightless Liquid Foundation: A++ It comes in 50 shades with 20 shades for deeper skin tones. You get 1 fluid ounce of product. I’ve already did a review on this product so i wont go into a whole thing about it…. I’ll just say I love this foundation so much …. I wish it was a tad lighter but the shade before 41 NN is too light and I refuse to buy 2 shades to mix together. I make the shade I have work. It’s light weight and beautiful on the skin. I just love the whole Naked line so much.
Tarte Sweet Peach Palette: A+++ You get .54 ounces of product total with this palette. It smells like candy peaches. Out of all the Too Faced palettes I own this is my favorite one. The colors are so beautiful. The shadows are pigmented and smooth. The shades blend out so perfectly. The only thing that is a down side to this palette sometimes the shadows make my inner corners of my lids itch, it’s not all the time that this happens, but it does happen. This is a great palette.
The Blam Mr. Write Eyeliner Pencil: A You get .012 ounces of product. It comes in 6 shades. This pencil is creamy but firm. It glides on soft with no tugging. The only down side is that it doesn’t last too long on the waterline.
The Blam What’s Your Type?: A++ You get .40 fluid ounces with this mascara. It’s a pretty good mascara on it’s own and an amazing mascara when you pair it with a lash primer. I wasn’t sure if I liked this mascara at first or not… but I really do like it. It holds the curl, it doesn’t feel crunchy, it doesn’t flake, and it’s easy to remove.
Kat Von D Everlasting Lip Liner: A+ You get .01 ounce of product. It comes in 22 shades. This lip line is super pigmented and creamy. It doesn’t pull at the lip line and glides onto the lips beautifully when you fill your lips in with it. I own several colors. It fades down nicely. It’s a good liner.
Too Faced Melted Matte: A++ Comes in 22 shades. You get .23 fluid ounces of product. The Melted Matte formula is one of the most comfortable mattes I have tried. It doesn’t feather. It doesn’t transfer (once it dries down). The color payoff is incredible. It fades almost completely even, it fades around the inside part of the mouth a bit faster than the rest of the lip, but it’s just a slight bit fading. I own 4 shades so I don’t think I will repurchase anytime soon… unless one of the colors happens to become a favorite of mine.
NARS Lip Gloss: A+++ This lip gloss comes in 26 shades. You get .18 fluid ounces of product. This is the best gloss formula ever. It’s the only lip gloss I currently own, I decluttered all other lip glosses once I tried this formula. I own 6 glosses total with plans to purchase more for the summer. The formula has slip to it, without stickiness. The hydration lasts a long time too. I just love, love, LOVE this formula.
Well that’s all for now dolls. Have an amazing rest of your day and remember…. Save a spoon for a bit of makeup.
XOXO
