Good morning dolls, or rather should I say good afternoon… I got a late start today. I hope you are having a great day. I woke up feeling pretty good today…. just woke up late though.

Forgive the hair, it’s time for another Olaplex treatment, I just haven’t had the extra spoons to do the treatment.

Today I have a full face of Pixi Beauty makeup to play with… I will also be doing a Pixi Revisited tomorrow so that I can try the Beauty Balm I purchased.  With out further ado … let’s jump into the Face of the Day.

oof… that hair needs work….

Base: I primed my face using the Pixi by Petra Flawless Beauty Primer ($22 on their website). For foundation I am using the Pixi Flawless Beauty Fluid ($15 on their website) in No. 3 Warm. They were out of corrector so I did not purchase a corrector for the review… today I chose not to use one to test out the concealer… tomorrow I will use the concealer in conjunction with my go to corrector. For concealer I am using Pixi by Petra Pat Away Concealing Base ($16 on their website) in the color Nude. I set my whole face with Pixi by Petra Colour Correcting Powder Foundation ($20 on their website) in the color No. 2 Nude. I warmed up my face using Pixi by Petra BeautyBronzer ($18 on their website) in Summertime.

Eyes: I primed my lids with Tarte Shape Tape ($25 at Ulta) in the color Light-Medium Honey and then set my lids with Wet n Wild Color Icon ($.99 at Walgreens) in the color Brulee. For my eye look today I am using the Pixi by Petra Hello Beautiful L.A. Angel! Palette ($24 on their website). For my transition shade I chose the color Casual (a mid-toned peach matte). As my second transition shade and the outer 1/2 of my mobile lid I chose Earth (an orange based light brown matte). To deepen my crease and the outer 1/3 of my mobile lid  I chose the color Boardwalk (a grey toned medium brown matte). For the middle 1/3 of my mobile lid I chose the color Free (a taupe based bronze shimmer) and for the inner 1/3 I chose Confident (a true gold shimmer). I deepened my outer v with the color L.A. Night (a true black matte). On the bottom lash line I used the colors Earth, Boardwalk, and then Casual. To highlight my inner corners I used the color Sunny (a pale yellow shimmer). I did my brows using Pixi by Petra Endless Brow Gel Pen ($11 on their website) in the color Deep. I set my brows using the Pixi by Petra Brow Tamer Gel ($10 on their website) in clear. I carved my brow line using BH Studio Pro Brow Highlighter ($5 on their website) on the matte side and then set the brow line using the color Clean (a pure white matte). I lined my upper lash line using the Pixi by Petra Endless Silky Eye Pen ($6 on their website) in the color Black Caviar. I lined the waterlines using Pixi Extra Eye Bright Liner ($14 on their website) in the color No. 2 Extra Bright and to finish off the eyes I used the Pixi by Petra Lash Booster Mascara ($15 on their webstie) in the color No. 2 Blackest Black.

Cheeks and Lips:  For blush today I am wear the color Beach-y (a bronzed peach matte) from the Pixi by Petra Hello Beautiful L.A. Angel! Palette. I highlighted the tops of my cheeks, center of my forehead (between the brows), the nose, and my Cupid’s Bow using TEE (a goldish champagne) from the RachhLoves Pixi The Layers Highlighting Palette ($24 on their website). I lined my lips using Loreal 6-HR Infallible Never Fail Lipliner ($8.99 at Ulta) in the color Coral. I filled in the lips using Pixi Matteluster Lipstick ($6 on their website) in the color Peach Blossom (a deep peach cream).

There will be no Final Thoughts section, I am going to do a full review for my next blog post…. stay tuned to see what worked, what didn’t, and what surprised me most.

Ta ta for now dolls… remember save a spoon for a bit of lipstick.

XOXO
