Hello dolls. I hope you are having a great Saturday. I had a hard time falling asleep last night due to the pain. Because of that i over slept again today. It’s raining here in Florida and that’s causing more pain. I feel out of sorts today between over sleeping, being in pain, and not really feeling like doing my makeup. But I pushed through and here is the results. Today I am reviewing Loreal Cosmetics full face of makeup. This post will be the Face of the Day post with no Final Thoughts, and the next post will be a full on review of all the products I tried…. so let’s get started.
Base: I primed my face using the Loreal Infallible Glow-Lock Illuminating Primer ($12.99 at Ulta). I used a bit of ELF Poreless Putty Primer ($8 on their website) to blur my pores and the space between my brows. For foundation I am using Loreal Infallible 24-HR Fresh Wear Foundation ($14.99 at Ulta) in the color 420 True Beige. As my concealer I am using Loreal Infallible Full Wear Concealer ($13.49 at Ulta) …. I chose the shade 370 Biscuit which ended up being way to dark for me so I lightened it using NYX Pro Foundation Mixer ($10 on the NYX website) in the color White to mix into the concealer and that worked perfectly. I set my full face using Loreal Infallible Pro-Matte 16-HR Powder ($12.99 at Ulta) in the color 200 Natural Beige. I didn’t like either choice of bronzer that Loreal offers so to warm up my face I am using Benefit Hoola Bronzer ($30 at Ulta).
Eyes: I primed my lids using Tarte Shape Tape ($27 at Ulta) in the color Light-medium Honey. For most of my eye look today I am using the Loreal Paradise Enchanted Scented Eye Shadow Palette ($14.99 at Ulta). I used the 2nd shade on the 1st row (a cream colored matte) to set the Shape Tape. For my transition shade I used the 3rd color of the 3rd row (a deep terra cotta matte). I also took this color to the outer 1/2 of my mobile lid. I blended the edges of both shades using the 1st shade of the 2nd row (a pale peach matte). I deepened the outer 1/2 of my crease and outer 1/3 of my lid with the 2nd shade of the 4th row (a deep reddish brown matte). I then used the Loreal 24-HR Infallible Eye Shadow ($5.94 at Walmart ) in the color Amber Rush (an Amber shimmer) on the inner 1/2 of my mobile lid. I then used the Loreal 24-HR Infallible Eye Shadow ($5.94 at Walmart) in the color Endless Pearl (a cream colored satin) on the inner 1/3 of the lid. I then went back into the palette and put the 3rd color of the 2nd row (a peachy bronze shimmer) on the inner middle 3rd of the lid i used the 3rd color of the 1st row (a peach with silver reflect shimmer). I also used this shade to highlight the inner corners. I then used the Loreal Colour Riche Eyeshadow Single ($2.99 at Target) in the color 308 Matte-ison Avenue (a deep true brown matte) to deepen up the utter v. I used the same reddish brown matte shade that I used in my crease to create a drop shadow on my lower lash line. To line my upper lash line I used Loreal Infallible Longwear Eye Pencil ($8.99 at Ulta) in the color Black and for my waterline I used the Loreal Infallible Longwear Eye Pencil ($8.99 at Ulta) in the color Nude Beige. For my brows I am using Loreal Brow Stylist Definer Ultra-Fine Tip Shaping Pencil ($8.99 at Ulta) in the color Dark Brunette and followed that up using Loreal Brow Stylist Boot & Set Volumizing Brow Mascara ($10.99 at Ulta) in the color Dark Brunette. I carved out my brow line with the BH Studio Pro Brow Highlighter ($5 on their website) on the matte side and set that with the 1st shade of the 1st row (a white satin) of the palette. I primed my lashes using the Loreal Voluminous Base ($6.79 at Target) and followed that with the Loreal Voluminous Carbon Black mascara ($6.79 at Target).
Cheeks and Lips: I used Loreal True Match Super Blendable Blush ($11.99 at Ulta) in the color Barely Blushing (a warm deep peach satin). To highlight the tops of my cheeks, center of my forehead, nose, and Cupid’s Bow I used the Loreal True Match Lumi Glow Nude Highlighter Palette ($11.99 at Target) in the color Sun (a golden shade). I forgot I had a Loreal Lip Liner so I used NYX Suede Matte Lip Liner ($4 at Ulta) in the color Whipped Caviar to line my lips. I filled in my lips using Loreal Colour Riche Lipstick ($10.99 at Ulta) in the color 802 MATTE-sterpiece (a soft coral nude matte) and I topped the center of my lips using Loreal Colour Riche Shine Lipstick ($10.99 at Ulta) in the color 910 Shining Peach.
Well that’s all for now dolls… see ya in my next post to review the products I used.
Remember save a spoon for a bit of lipstick.
XOXO
