Hey doll hey!!! How’s your day going? Good I hope. I’m doing OK today. My hair wont cooperate and my brows were a bit of a problem today, but all in all I really like the look I came up with today. So let’s jump into the Face of the Day ….
Base: I preped my pores using ELF Poresless Putty Primer ($8 on their website) and then primed my face using the Pixi by Petra Flawless Beauty Primer Hydrating Glow Primer ($22 on their website). My foundation today is the Urban Decay All Nighter Waterproof Longwear Liquid Foundation ($40 at Ulta, Sephora and their website) in the color 4.0. I color corrected using the Tarte CC Undereye Corrector ($25 at Ulta, Sephora, and their website) in the color Light-Medium. For concealer I am using the ColourPop Pretty Fresh Hyaluronic Creamy Concealer ($9 on their website) in the color Medium 83C. I set my face using the ELF BEautifully Bare Sheer Tint Finishing Powder ($6 on their website) in the color Light-Medium. I set my under eyes and baked my jaw line, bridge of my nose, and center of my forehead using the RCMA No Color Powder ($15 on the Beautylish website). I warmed up my face using the Chanel Soleil Tan De Chanel ($50 on their website) in the color Bronze Universel.
Eyes: I primed my eyes using Tarte Shape Tape ($27 at Ulta, Sephora, and their website) in the color Light-Medium Honey. For today’s look I used the ColourPop Double Entendre Shadow Palette ($16 on their website). I did not set my Shape Tape today I used it tacky. I used Send Noodles (a light tan matte) all over the mobile lid. For my 1st transition shade I used the color Nekkis (a soft orange matte). For my 2nd transition shade I chose Extra Curricular (a mid-toned burnt orange matte). TO deepen the crease and the outer 1/2 of my mobile lid I used Hard (a deep terra cotta matte). I deepened the outer v and outer 1/3 of my mobile lid using Teddy Bare (a dark chocolate brown matte). I took the color Uninhibited (a deep gold metallic) all over my mobile lid and then deepened the outer 1/2 of the mobile lid using Draft (a rose gold metallic). I then went back in with the color Hard and deepened the outer 1/2 of the mobile lid. I used the color Hard on my lower lash line and then used the color Nip Slip (a warm tanish brown matte) to drop shadow the lower lash line. I highlighted the inner corners using the color Flasher (an ivory satin). I then did my brows using AOA Studio Sculpting Brow Pencil ($1 on the Shop Miss A website) in the color Dark Brown and then set the brows using the Revolution Pro Volume and Sculpt Brow Gel ($10 on their website and at Ulta) in the color Dark Brown. I lined my waterlines using the Loreal Infallible Longwear Eye Pencil ($8.99 at Ulta) in the color Nude. I carved out my brow line using the BH Studio Pro Brow Highlighter ($5 on their website) on the matte side and then went back to the Double Entendre palette and set the brow line using the color Locked & Loaded (a yellow based cream matte). My mascara today is ColourPop BFF Volumizing Mascara ($8 on their website) in the color Black on Black.
Cheeks and Lips: My blush today is Milani Rose Powder Blush ($8.99 on their website) in the color Tea Rose (a coral pink matte). I highlighted the tops of my cheeks, center of my forehead, bridge of my nose, and Cupid’s bow using Revolution Highlighter Reloaded ($6 on their website) in the color Dare to Divulge (a mid-toned gold). I lined and filled in my lips using NYX Suede Matte Lip Liner ($4 at Ulta and on their website) in the color Kitten Heels (a blue based red matte) and then topped that off using the Becky G X ColourPop Creme Lux Lipstick ($9 on their website) in the color Fee Fi Fo (an orange based red).
Final Thoughts:
Pixi by Petra Flawless Beauty Primer Hydrating Glow Primer: A+ I used much less than I did when I did my Full Face of Pixi Cosmetics Review that you can read here-> Pixi Review . I desided to use it today because I was going to be using a very matte, very full coverage foundation. I haven’t noticed any extra longevity with this primer, but it makes foundation look so dewy that this is what I use it for. I really like the finish it gave my foundation today.
Urban Decay All Nighter Waterproof Longwear Liquid Foundation: A++ This foundation comes in 24 shades (8 each for light. medium, and deep skin tones) and you get 1 fluid ounce of product in this plastic pump bottle. This foundation is billed as full coverage with a modern matte finish that never looks overdone. Get serious long-lasting wear and a blown-out effect you never thought was possible. I haven’t worn this foundation in over a year and 1/2, I kept over looking it for other foundations. I forgot just how flawless this foundation leaves the face looking. It’s not cakey like most matte full coverage foundations are. It’s super long wearing, even in the Florida heat. It dries down almost all the way so I always lightly powder my skin to make sure it doesn’t bunch up on me. I moved this one to my top drawer so I can use it more. I would repurchase this one again.
ColourPop Pretty Fresh Hyaluronic Creamy Concealer: A+++ This concealer coems in 30 shades (10 for light, medium, and deep tones) and you get .30 fluid ounces of product in this doe-foot applicator tube. I did a review on this concealer a few times already so I wont bore you with another one. I just truly love this concealer, so much more now that I have the correct color.
ELF Beautifully Bare Sheer Tint Finishing Powder: A- This powder comes in 5 shades (2 for deeper skin tones) and you get .33 ounces of product in this mirrored compact. This is a finely milled, full coverage face powder that doesn’t cake up or go on patchy. I do like this powder and would definitely repurchase if and when I run out.
ColourPop Double Entendre Shadow Palette: A+ You get .47 ounces total in this palette. This is a basic warm nude palette. The shades blended well and buffed into each other with out getting muddy, however I am wondering if this palette’s matte formula is different from their standard palettes because 3 of the matte shades have already gone hard panned. Now it could be that the hard pan happened because I swatched the palette, but at any rate, I have only had this palette for a few weeks and today was the first time I used it, there really shouldn’t be a reason for hard pan to happen.
AOA Studio Sculpting Brow Pencil: B- This pencil gave me such a hard time today. I’ve already reviewed this product along with a full face of Shop Miss A products, you can find that here -> Shop Miss A review , so I wont go into the whole thing again, however as the point goes more flat it gets harder to get a crisp line when I block my brows out but it still works pretty good for only being $1.00 .
Revolution Highlighter Reloaded: A+++ I am so loving this highlighter!! there is no glitter…. it’s a beaming highlight that just melts into the skin so beautifully. I can see myself repurchasing this one again.
ColourPop Creme Lux Lipstick: A+++ This formula is amazing. It’s creamy but not too creamy where it travels outside the lip line. It’s semi-long wearing and fades down nicely. I own 5 shades and have plans to purchase more shades.
Well that’s all for now dolls. Have a great day and remember save a spoon for a bit of lipstick.
XOXO
You look STUNNING with that red lipstick on! Such a spot-on shade on you, love it!
