Face of the Day Using the ColourPop Nude Mood Palette

Hey doll hey. Hope you are having a great day. Things are going good for me today , well all but my hair… this past week my hair has not cooperated with me at all. Let’s jump into the Face of the Day ….

Base: I really loved the way my skin looked yesterday so I repeated it again today… I primed using Makeup Forever Step 1 Smoothing Primer ($37 at Sephora) and then my foundation is Loreal Infallible 24-HR Fresh Wear ($14.99 at Ulta) in the color 420 True Beige. I didn’t need to color correct today so I went straight into concealer, I am using Benefit Boi-ing Cakeless Concealer ($22 at Ulta and on their website) in the color N0.5 and then I set my face using the Loreal Infallible 16-HR Powder ($12.99 at Ulta) in the color 200 Natural Beige. Warmed up the face using Pixi by Petra Beauty Bronzer ($18 on their website) in the color Summertime. I then baked my jaw line, bridge of the nose, and center of my forehead and also set my under eyes using RCMA No color Powder ($15 on the Beautylish website).

Eyes: For today’s eye look I used the new ColourPop Nude Mood Palette ($14 on their website). I primed my lids using Tarte Shape Tape ($27 on Ulta) in the color Light-Medium Honey and set that with Wet n Wild Color Icon Single Shadow ($.99 at Walgreens). For my transition shade I chose Bare to Wear (a light beige matte). In my crease I chose Au Natural (a grey-toned tan matte). On the outer 1/2 of my mobile lid I used Mugged Off (a burnt peach with gold flecks sequin). I then used The Cocoa (burnt sienna with gold flecks sequin) over the outer 1/2 of my mobile lid and also the outer V. I then deepened my outter v with Moody (a chestnut brown matte). For my mobile lid I used Putting On Heirs (a bright copper gold metallic) on the middle 1/3 of my lid and Wink Wink (a soft gold champagne super shock shadow) on the inner 1/3 of the mobile lid. I then used more of The Cocoa for my lower lash line. I highlighted the inner corners using Hikri Cream Pigment ($15 on their website) in the color Honey Dew. I did my brows using Benefit Precisely My Brow ($24 at Ulta) and Gimme Brow ($24 at Ulta) in the color 4.5 and then I carved out my brow line using the the BH Studio Pro Brow Highlighter ($5 on their website) on the shimmery side and then I set the brow line using the color Bluffin’ (an ivory matte). I lined my waterlines using the Revolution Pro Supreme Pigment Gel Liner ($5 on their website) in the color Nude. For mascara today I am using Revolution The Mascara Revolution ($10 at Ulta and their website) in the color Black.

20200123_115245 Cheeks and Lips: For my blush today I am wearing The Balm Shadow/Blush ($21 on theri website but this color is discontinued) Frat Boy (a rosey nude matte). Today I highlighted the tops of my cheeks, bridge of my nose, center of my forehead, and Cupid’s Bow using Essence Pure Nude Highlighter (4.49 at Ulta) in the color Be My Highlight. I lined my lips using ColourPop Lippie Pencil ($6 on their website) in the color BFF (a light brown nude) and then filled my lips in using MAC Matte Lipstick ($19 at Ulta and MAC) in the color Velvet Teddy (a peachy brown nude).

Final Thoughts:

Benefit Boi-ing Cakeless Concealer: A++                                                                                       OK so every time I try this concealer it gets better. Today I used the concealer alone and it brightened my under eye so well and went on so smoothly…. My under eyes look so pretty. I know I only purchased the mini but once I run out I a totally purchasing the full sized.

Pixi by Petra Beauty Bronzer: A+++                                                                                            This bronzer is glowy bronzer and it is so darn pretty on the face. Every time I use it I fall in love with it even more. It give such luminosity to the skin.

ColourPop Nude Mood Palette: A++                                                                                              This palette is a neutral palette and you get .37 ounces of total product. It’s a nice everyday palette. You can get a really pretty basic nude look but you can also get a stunning smokey eye with it too. I only scored it an A++ because there was tons of glitter fall out with this palette. There is moderate kickback in the pans but tons of fallout with the sequin shadows. Still worth it because the look you get is so ethereal.

Well that’s all for now dolls. Hope the rest of your day is stellar. Remember save a spoon for a bit of lipstick.

XOXO
