Hey doll hey!!! Hope you are having a great day/night. I’m having a high pain and low spoon day. I think I might be headed for a fibro flare…. (sad panda). Today I tried the new ColourPop Blush Crush Palette ($14 on their website). So let’s jump into the Face of the Day….
Base: I primed today using the Pixi by Petra Flawless Beauty Primer ($22 on their website) and also the Tarte Clean Slate Timeless Smoothing Primer ($39 at Ulta, Sephora, and their website). My foundation today is Physicians Formula The Healthy Foundation ($7.99 at Ulta) in the color LN4. I color corrected using Pixi by Petra Correction Concentrate ($12.99 at Ulta and on their website) in Brightening Peach and then concealed my under eyes using ColourPop Pretty Fresh Hyaluronic Creamy Concealer ($9 on their website) in the color Medium 83C. I set my face using ColourPop No Filter Setting Powder ($10 on sale for $7.50 on their website) in translucent. I warmed up the face using MAC Mineralize Skin Finish ($36 at Ulta and MAC) in the color Give Me Sun. I then set my under eyes with more of the ColourPop No Filter Setting Powder and then baked the jaw line, bridge of the nose, and center of my forehead using RCMA No Color Powder ($15 on the Beautylish website).
Eyes: I primed my lids using Tarte Shape Tape ($27 at Ulta) in the shade Light-medium Honey and set the lids using some more of the ColourPop No Filter Setting Powder. I then used the ColourPop Blush Crush Palette ($14 on their website). For my 1st transition shade I used the color The One (soft peachy pink matte). My second transition shade is the color Made U Blush (a blush toned pink matte with subtle gold flecks). As my crease color I chose How Rouge (a mid-toned berry matte with gold flecks). I also used this color on my lower lash line and then I used more of Made U Blush to smoke that out. To deepen my outer V and outer 1/3 of my mobile lid I used the color Blush Wine (a deep wine matte with gold flecks). For my inner 2/3 of my mobile lid I used the color Blossom Up (pink metallic with a gold flip). I then deepened the out 1/3 of the mobile lid again going back into Blush Wine and then used a tinny bit more of Blossom Up to blend the line between the outer 1/3 and inner 2/3. To highlight my inner corners I used the shade Pop a Bottle (a soft pink with pink and champagne gold reflects super shock shadow). I lined the waterlines using ColourPop BFF Creme Gel Liner ($6 on their website) in the shade Get Paid (rose gold metallic). I then did my brows using the Benefit Precisely My Brow Pencil ($24 at Ulta) in the shade 4.5 and set the brows using Benefit Gimme Brow Gel ($24 at Ulta) in the shade 6. I carved out my brow line using BH Studio Pro Brow Highlighter ($5 on their website) on the matte side and then set that with the shade Love Sick (a pale baby pink matte) and then I brightened up under my brow line using Wet n Wild Color Icon Single Shadow ($.99 at Walgreens) in the color Sugar. My mascara today is the Flower Beauty Lash Warrior ($9.99 at Ulta) in the color Fiercest Black.
Cheeks and Lips: For blush today I chose Revolution Blusher Reloaded ($7 at Ulta and on their website) in the shade Rhubarb & Custard (a soft coral matte). I highlighted the tops of my cheeks, bridge of my nose, center of my forehead, Cupid’s Bow, and center of my chin using the Milanni Hypnotic Lights Highlighter ($12.99 at Ulta and on their website) in the shade 04 Flashing Lights (a golden champagne with a pink flip). I lined my lips using NYX Slim Pencil ($4 at Ulta) in the shade Bloom ( a berry hot pink) and filled in the lips using NYX Shout Loud Satin Lipstick ($8.50at Ulta) in the shade 21st (a hot pink). I then used Malani Conceal + Perfect Shine-Proof Powder ($10.99 on their website) in the color Nude as a finishing powder.
Final Thoughts:
Pixi by Petra Flawless Beauty Primer: A++ This primer leaves a pretty glow to the face with a slight pink reflect. It doesn’t do much as a primer but it leaves the skin pretty.
Physicians Formula The Healthy Foundation: A++ This foundation is starting to grow on me. It’s a nice medium coverage foundation that is a satin finish.
Pixi by Petra Correction Concentrate: A- I wanted to be wowed by this product really I did. There are so any YouTubers that just gush over this corrector…but it’s nothing special. It works well but I find it to be a bit waxy in formula… I’ll continue to try it out and see if maybe over time as I work the product out of the jar it might get better…
ColourPop No Filter Setting Powder: A++ I liked the finish of this powder better today. It lasted longer on the skin better today. It set the foundation down without going cakey. I tried it under my eyes for the first time and really liked the look it gave…. it’s not as heavy as the RCMA powder so it did not emphasize the lines under my eyes.
Flower Beauty Lash Warrior: B+ I really can’t get this mascara to work for me. It always feels so heavy on the lashes and every time I use it I end up with smudges on my lower lash line. I’m going to use this tube up but I will never repurchase it.
Malani Conceal + Perfect Shine-Proof Powder: A+++ As a finishing powder this one is amazingly pretty. It blurs the pores and smooths out the face so perfectly. I also like it as a touch up powder because it’s so finely milled that it never goes cake faced on me.
ColourPop Blush Crush Palette ($14 on their website): A++ I love the colors in this palette! I don’t even mind the glitter flakes that are peppered throughout the mattes. There is some kickback in the pans but I did not get any fallout on the face, not even with the glittered mattes. The shades are moderately pigmented allowing for you to build up the intensity without going too heavy. This allows you to get a romantic wash of pinks and mauves. The shadows blend easily and do not go muddy when you buff one color into another. The mattes are finely milled and creamy and the metallics are buttery smooth. It’s a nice little palette. You wont be able to get many looks out of this palette, but this would be a great one for Valentine’s day or a wedding look. In fact this would be a super cute wedding gift to brides maids!!!
Well dolls… that’s all for now. I hope you have an amazing rest of your day/night and as always save a spoon for a bit of lipstick.
XOXO
I love the look you created! Soft and bright at the same time. I agree, we have to save a spoon for lipstick, it’s necessity 😊 XOXO Emma|| Canvas of a Face

Yeah it is bad and constant and yeah can definitely relate to that, but there always others who have it worst. The problem is I get use to the pain so like now my pain is over a 10 but because I’ve had it for months my body slowly gets use to it and I adapt to it
