Warm Toned Neutral Eye Face of the Day

Hey doll hey!!! How’s your day/night going? Great I hope. I’m doing a bit better today. Still in heaps of pain and still don’t have enough energy, but I’m doing better and that’s what’s important. I made this look to match the shirt I was going to wear today, but I spilled coffee all over myself this morning so my eye look doesn’t match my shirt now …. well let’s jump into the Face of the Day …..

Base: I primed my face using Makeup Forever Step 1 Smoothing Base ($37 at Sephora). I color corrected using the Believe Beauty Brighten Up Color Correcting Concealer ($4 at Dollar General) in the shade Light/Medium. For foundation today I mixed Wet n Wild Photo focus Dewy Face Primer ($5.99 at Ulta) in with a few pumps of Pixi by Petra Beauty Balm High Coverage Foundation ($22.49 at Target) in the shade No. 2 Nude. I concealed my under eyes using Loreal Infallible Full Wear Concealer ($5.99 at Target) in the shade 360 Cashmere. I set my full face using Laura Mercier Loose Setting Powder ($39 at Ulta and Sephora) in the shade Translucent. I warmed up my face using MAC Bronzing Powder ($30 at MAC) in the shade Matte Bronze. I lightly baked my jaw line, bridge of the nose, and center of the forehead using RCMA No Color Powder ($15 on the Beautylish website).

Eyes: I primed the lids using NARS Soft Matte Complete Concealer ($30 at Sephora) in the shade Medium 1 Custard. For this eye look I used the ColourPop Bare Necessities palette ($34 on their website). I chose, for my transition shade, the color Complicated (a warm rust brown with gold flecks sequin shadow). For my crease shade I used a combo of the colors Haute (a terracotta with copper flecks sequin shadow) and Velveteen (a tawny brown matte). I also took this combo onto the outer 1/3 of the mobile lid. On the inner 2/3 of the mobile lid I used the color Silk Teddy (a nude champagne metallic). I then took more of the shade Haute and patted that on the middle 1/3 to blend the outer and inner 1/3 together. For my drop shadow on the lower lash line I used whatever was left on my crease brush and then went in closer to the lash line with just the shade Haute. I highlighted the inner corners using a bit of the Benefit Powder Highlighter ($30 at Ulta) in the shade Cookie. I lined my lower waterline with ColourPop BFF Creme Gel Liner ($6 on their website) in the shade Get Paid (rose gold metallic). I set my brows using Believe Beauty Eye Brow Styling Gel ($4 at Dollar General) in the shade clear and filled in my brows using Loreal Brow Stylist Definer ($7.99 at Target) in the shade Dark Brunette. I carved out my brow line using BH Studio Pro Brow Highlighter ($5 on their website) on the shimmer side and then set that with the color Full Expose (a creamy vanilla matte). I put on a set of Ardell Soft Touch falsies ($3.49 at Ulta) in the style #161 and then tight lined the upper waterline using Flower Beauty Forever Wear Longwear Eyeliner ($7.99 at Ulta) in the shade Onyx. I primed my lower lash line using AOA Studio Fat Lash Primer ($1 on the Shop Miss A website) and followed that up with AOA Studio Fat Lash Mascara ($1 on the Shop Miss A website) on both the upper and lower lashes.

Cheeks and Lips: For my blush today I used ELF Primer Infused Blush ($6 at Ulta and on the ELF website) in the shade Always Punchy (a bright coral pink matte). I highlighted the tops of my cheeks, center of the forehead, Cupid’s Bow, and bridge of the nose using Benefit Powder Highlighter ($30 at Ulta) in the shade Cookie. I then pulled in the Too Faced Turn Up The Light Palette ($42 at Ulta) and used the Soft Focus as an all over setting powder. I lined my lips using ColourPop Lippie Pencil ($6 but on sale for $4.20 on their website) in the shade BFF (a warm nude) and filled them in using ColourPop Lippie Stix ($7 on their website) in the shade At Twilight (a warm muted coral).

Final Thoughs:

Believe Beauty Brighten Up Color Correcting Concealer: WARNING:                                        I do love this color corrector so much….but….. BE very careful not to get this product in your eye!!!! It’s so emollient that I accidentally got some into my right eye and the burn that I felt was intense…. I had to use eye wash to clear it out of my eye and I am still feeling a slight burn even now.

Pixi by Petra Beauty Balm High Coverage Foundation: A+++!!!                                            This foundation is so pretty and oh man when you add a dewy glow primer into it the foundation looks AMAZING!!! This foundation is full coverage for sure and a little goes a long way. It also doesn’t feel like I’m wearing any foundation at all.

Loreal Infallible Full Wear Concealer: B+++                                                                    OK….now that I’ve tried this concealer in a smaller amount under the eye…. it actually looks pretty. I only graded it a B+++ because I did notice that after a light setting of powder it still creased and I had to go back into with more powder.

AOA Studio Fat Lash Mascara: A++                                                                                                This is a pretty great mascara for being only $1.00. I don’t like the wand but I love the outcome of the product. It gives length and it doesn’t go clumpy or flaky.

ELF Primer Infused Blush: A+++!!!!                                                                                               Oh wow!!!! This blush is amazing! It’s super pigmented, it is matte without being dusty, and it buffs into the cheeks perfectly. I have already ordered another color.
