Hey doll hey!!! How’s your day/night going? Great I hope. I got off to the latest of starts today. Got up around 10:30 am and didn’t get started on my makeup until around 12:45 pm so I decided just to do a simple eye look to make it easier and faster for myself today. For let’s jump into what scent I’m wearing and the Face of the Day …..

Base: I primed my face using Makeup Forever Step-1 Primer ($37 at Sephora). I chose not to color correct today because I bought my foundation all the way up under my eyes. My foundation combo for the day is 2 pumps of Marc Jacobs Dew Drops Coconut Gel Highlighter ($45 at Sephora) in the shade Dew You?, 5 pumps of the Physicians Formula Spotlight Illuminating Primer ($13.99 on Amazon but can be found at Walmart) in the shade Glow, and 3 full droppers of Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Water Foundation ($39 at Sephora) in the shade Light Sand. I used a very little of Pixi by Petra Pat Away Concealer ($15.99 at Target) in the shade Nude to add a touch more coverage to my under eyes. I set my undereyes using Catrice Prime and Fine Mattifying Waterproof Powder ($7.49 at Ulta) in the shade Transparent (I also chose this powder as my touch up powder for today). I then set the rest of my face using Too Faced Born This Way Ethereal Setting Powder ($33 at Ulta and Sephora) in the shade Translucent. I warmed up the face using my Chanel Soleil Tan De Chanel ($50 on their website) in the shade Universal Bronze.
Eyes: I primed my lids using NARS Soft Matte Complete Concealer ($30 at Sephora) in the shade Medium 1 Custard and set that using Catrice Prime and Fine Mattifying Waterproof Powder ($7.49 at Ulta) in the shade Transparent. For today’s eye look I used the Too Faced Born This Way The Natural Nudes Complexion Inspired Eye Shadow Palette ($45 at Ulta and Sephora). As my transition and outer 1/3 of the mobile lid shade I used the color Maple (warm caramel brown matte). On the inner 2/3 of my mobile lid I used the shade Seashell (peachy cream matte). I then went in with the shade Cocoa (medium chocolate brown matte) to deepen the outer v and outer 1/3 of the mobile lid. I took what was left on my transition shade brush to run along the lower lash line. I set my brows using Maybelline Great Lash Mascara ($6.99 at Ulta but I purchased mine from Amazon) in clear (I found this product thanks to a fellow beauty blogger named Courtney Carruthers) and then filled in my brows using ELF Ultra Precise Brow Pencil ($5 at Ulta and on the ELF website) in the shade Deep Brown and then I carved out my brow line using the BH Studio Pro Brow Highlighter ($5 on their website) on the matte side and set the brow line using the shade Swan (eggshell matte). I popped on a pair of Ardell lashes ($4 at Ulta) in a style I can’t remember … I just remember that these are Ardell lashes. I lined the lower waterlines using NYX Faux Whites Liner ($8 at Ulta) in the shade Linen (nude) and coated my upper and lower lashes with MAC Extended Play Gigablack Lash Mascara ($20 at Ulta) in the shade Black. I then highlighted the inner corners using Urban Decay Single Eye Shadow ($20 at Ulta) in the shade Midnight Cowboy (an icy pink with silver reflect).
Cheeks and Lips: For blush today I am wearing NARS Blush ($30 at Sephora) in the shade Dolce Vita (a dusty rose satin). I highlighted the tops of my cheeks, Cupid’s Bow, bridge of my nose, and the high points of my brows using BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed ($38 at Sephora) in the shade Champagne Pop (soft gold with pinky-peach pearl). I lined and filled in my lips using ColourPop Lippie Pencil (no longer sold on it’s own … can be found in the Big Box of Lippie Pencils) in the shade Oh Sis (smoked paprika) and then topped the lips off using ColourPop Lippie Stix ($7 on their website) in the shade Cami (cool-toned mauve).
Final Thoughts: I really did need to sleep in today since I got up so early yesterday but I really hate that the day seems to be all but gone now.
The foundation combo I did today is so pretty and skin like. I think I might be wearing this combo again tomorrow. I would however use only 1 pump of the Marc Jacobs Dew Drops since I think it makes the skin look a bit glittery under the Too Faced Ethereal Powder.
Well that’s all for today dolls. Thanks for stopping by. I hope you have a great rest of your day/night and that you are in good spirits. Remember…. Save a spoon for a bit of lipstick.
XOXO
