Hey doll hey!! How’s your day going? Great I hope. I’m doing pretty good today. Moderate pain levels, some energy, and I woke up around 7:30 am after having a great night’s sleep. I wanted to do a soft and simple eye look today… I chose taupe because I was going to wear this super cute top I just got but I spilled foundation on it and it’s currently sitting in some Oxi-Clean to see if that will get it out….. Well, let’s jump into this Fave of the Day and current scent….

Base: I primed my face using It Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Primer (Discontinued). For foundation I am using a combo of 7 pumps of Physicians Formula Spotlight Illuminating Primer ($13.99 on Amazon also sold at Walmart) in the shade Glow and 2 full squeezes of L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Glow Foundation ($12.99 at Ulta) in the shade 202 Creamy Natural. I color corrected the inner and outer area of my under eyes using Pixi by Petra Correction Concentrate ($12 at Target) in the shade Brightening Peach. I concealed my under eyes using Physicians Formula Conceal RX ($6.90 on Amazon but also sold at Walmart) in the shade Natural Light. I set the full face using Too Face Born This Way Ethereal Setting Powder ($33 at Ulta and Sephora) in the shade Translucent. I warmed up the face using ColourPop Pressed Bronzer ($8 on their website) in the shade Talk to the Palm.
Eyes: I primed my lids using NARS Soft Matte Complete Concealer ($30 at Sephora) in the shade Medium 1 Custard and set that using RCMA No Color Powder ($15 on the Beautylish website) For today’s eye look I used the Too Faced Semi Sweet Chocolate Bar Palette (Discontinued). For my transition shade I used the color Mousse (medium brown with warm undertones matte). On my mobile lid I used the shade Rum Raisin (muted, medium-dark taupe brown with warm undertones metallic) for the full lid. I deepened the outer 1/3 of the mobile lid and the outer v using the shade Puddin’ (muted, medium-dark brown with a hint of gray matte). I set my brows using Maybelline Great Lash Mascara ($6.99 at Ulta but I purchased mine from Amazon) in clear and then filled in my brows using ELF Ultra Precise Brow Pencil ($5 at Ulta and on the ELF website) in the shade Deep Brown and then I carved out my brow line using the BH Studio Pro Brow Highlighter ($5 on their website) on the matte side and set the brow line using the shade Coconut Creme (a light beige with warm, yellow tones matte). For my lower lash line I used the shade Mousse again and then I used more of the shade Puddin’ to darken the lash line. I popped on a pair of Ardell lashes ($4 at Ulta) in a style I can’t remember … I just remember that these are Ardell lashes. I lined the lower waterlines using ColourPop Lippie Pencil (only found in the Big Box of Lippie Pencils Vault on their website) in the shade ALT (blackened teal) and coated my upper and lower lashes with MAC Extended Play Gigablack Lash Mascara ($20 at Ulta) in the shade Black. I then highlighted the inner corners using Urban Decay Single Eye Shadow ($20 at Ulta) in the shade Midnight Cowboy (an icy pink with silver reflect).
Cheeks and Lips: For blush today I used Revolution Beauty Blusher Reloaded ($7 at Ulta) in the shade Rhubarb & Custard (Coral Pink matte). I highlighted the tops of my cheeks, Cupid’s Bow, bridge of the nose, and high points of the brow bone using Jouer Powder Highlighter ($24 at Sephora) in the shade Citrine (gold). I lined my lips using ColourPop Lippie Pencil ($6 on their website) in the shade Obvi (light pinkish brown) and then I filled in my lips using ColourPop Lippie Stix (only found in the Big Box of Lippie Sitx Vault on their website) in the shade Candy Paint (true terracotta matte).
Final Thoughts: The Too Faced Semi Sweet Palette is a warm toned palette however, to me, this eye look came out very cool toned. I really loved working with this color story today and thought that the blackened teal pop on the lower waterline was a fun little touch. My brows gave me such a hard time today… as you can plainly see … but at least they are semi-even. I can’t wait to get my micro-blading touched up so my brows can stop giving me such a hard time…..
Well that’s all for now dolls. Hope you have a great rest of your day/night and that you are in good spirits. Remember… Save a spoon for a bit of lipstick.
XOXO
