Hey doll hey!!! How’s your day going? I still am feeling sick. Last night was not fun. I threw up 2 times last night, once while I was sleeping and then spent 15 minutes recuperating from the fact that I was choking on vomit, and once after that while I was trying to get back to sleep. My fever has broken so I am feeling a bit better than I have for the past few days. I felt like doing a dark smokey look to hide the darkness to my eyes because of being sick. So let’s jump into this scent and Face of the Day….

Base: I primed my face using Catrice Cosmetics Prime and Fine Poreless Blur Primer ().My foundation today is a combo of 2 pumps Catrice Cosmetics Light Correcting Serum Primer ($10.99 at Ulta) in the shade Candlelight, 3 pumps of the Physicians Formula Spotlight Illuminating Primer ($14.39 at Walgreens) in the shade Glow, and 4 pumps of Pixi by Petra Beauty Balm High Coverage Foundation ($22.49 at Target) in the shade No. 2 Nude. I color corrected my full under eyes (man do i look ruff this morning, very dark circles) using Pixi by Petra Correction Concentrate ($12 at Target) in the shade Brightening Peach. I concealed my under eyes using Too Faced Born This Way Naturally Radiant Concealer (I believe this concealer had been discontinued) in the shade Light/Medium. I set my full face using Believe Beauty Matte Blur Loose Powder ($5 at Dollar General) in the shade Translucent and warmed up my face using MAC Bronzing Powder ($30 at MAC) in the shade Matte Bronze. For touch up powder today I am using Flower Beauty Light Illusion Perfecting Powder ($13.99 at Target) in the shade Beige L4-M1.
Eyes: I primed my lids using NARS Soft Matte Complete Concealer ($30 at Sephora) in the shade Medium 1 Custard and set that using RCMA No Color Powder ($15 on the Beautylish website) For today’s eye look I used the the Profusion Cosmetics Eye & Cheek The Artistry Palette ($10 on their website). For my transition shade I used a combo of the shades Love (yellow toned tan matte) and Honest (mid toned peach matte). For my outer 1/3 and inner 1/3 of my mobile lid and my crease I used a combo of the shades Embrace (a mauvey brown matte) and Comeback (a chocolate brown matte). I then took the shade Cookie (a mid toned terracotta matte) and patted that on the middle of the inner and outer 1/3 of the mobile lid to give the halo a bit more depth. I then also used this shade to blend the crease and transition together. on the middle 1/3 of my mobile lid I first went in with the shade Mic Drop (a copper with gold reflect metallic) and then I went in with the shade Antique (a yellow gold metallic) over the center part of the middle 1/3 of the mobile lid. I set my brows using Maybelline Great Lash Mascara ($6.99 at Ulta but I purchased mine from Amazon) in clear and then filled in my brows using ELF Ultra Precise Brow Pencil ($5 at Ulta and on the ELF website) in the shade Deep Brown and then I carved out my brow line using the BH Studio Pro Brow Highlighter ($5 on their website) on the matte side and set the brow line using the shade Whipped (a vanilla matte). For my lower lash line I used more of the shade Cookie, creating a drop shadow, and then deepened the lash line using more of the shade Comeback. I highlighted the inner corners using Hikari Cosmetics Creme Pigment ($15 on their website) in the shade Honeydew (icy pink with silver and lavender reflect). I lined my lower waterlines using Charlotte Tilbury Eye Powder Pencil ($22 at Sephora) in the shade The Classic (a mid toned brown). I popped on a pair of KoKo Lashes ($7.99 on the Lady Moss website) in the style KoKo and coated my upper and lower lashes with L’Oreal Voluminous Carbon Black Mascara ($8.99 at Ulta).
Cheeks and Lips: For blush today I am wearing Burt’s Bees Blush ($9.99 at Ulta) in the shade 1205 Bare Peach. I highlighted the tops of mu cheeks, Cupid’s Bow, bridge of the nose, the center of my chin, and high points of my brows using the shade Diamonds (a bronze gold with rose gold reflect) from the same Profusion Cosmetics Eye & Cheek The Artistry Palette. I lined my lips using ColourPop Lippie Pencil ($6 on their website) in the shade Obvi (Light pinkish brown) and filled in the lips using ColourPop Ultra Matte Lip (discontinued) in the shade Gingham (peachy pink nude).
Final Thoughts: Things in the world are so crazy right now. I’ve chosen to practice social distancing because since I have a weakened immune system, do to the Fibromyalgia, I’m afraid (like so many of us) to get this illness. Shopping for food has been tough, there is barely anything on the shelves, the meat cases are bare, the dairy cases are bare…. It’s so surreal.
I panicked when I first started to get sick…. I thought could this be it??? But I’m starting to feel better and my fever has gone so I am not panicked anymore. However, if I’m still feeling sick tomorrow I will call my doctor to see what I should be doing.
I want you all to please be safe and please exercise caution.
With there being a shortage of hand sanitizer and antibacterial wipes I thought I would give you the site of the homemade hand sanitizer I use. You can read how to make the hand sanitizer here and the wipes here .
Well that’s all for now dolls. I hope you all are staying safe during this troubling time we are having. I hope you have a great rest of your day/night and that you are in good spirits. Remember, Save a spoon for a bit of lipstick.
XOXO
take care
