Road to Fuller Brows and Lashes Using Jamaican Castor Oil

Hey doll hey!!! Hope your day/night is going good. I just wanted to pop in really quick to do a before post. As I explained in my last beauty haul post, I learned of a tick for fuller brows and lashes from a fellow beauty blogger. Her name is Anna Bankester. She had a YouTube post where she talked about using Jamaican Black Castor Oil in her brows and lashes to get them growing. Well the very same day I ordered a bottle of this magical stuff on Amazon for $9.99 for a 4 ounce bottle.

I thought this was a small bottle but when I applied the oil to my brows and lashes, using a disposable mascara spoolie, I figured out that 1 dip into the bottle was all I needed for both brows and all 4 sets of lashes.

Right off the bat I’d like to tell you…. this stuff stinks very much. But once it’s on your eyes and brows you don’t smell it anymore. Next this stuff is super sticky and doesn’t dry down so if you are using it at night, like I am, you may need to adjust the way you sleep, unless you don’t mind getting some of this oil o n your pillow at night.

This stuff feels weird on the lashes. It’s not super thick or anything, but you can definitely tell you have something in your lashes.

So I started this treatment today and plan to do weekly check ins to show my progress with this oil…. that is unless there really isn’t any discernible difference in appearance.

Well let’s see my starting point…. be warned …. I have taken my makeup off for the night and gone through my nightly skin care routine so I look a bit scary… ha ha…..

My right side. My brows are super thin and sparse and you can see my faded micro blade ink.
My left side. Again very sparse and super thin but also I am missing alot of my tail because I nicked the tail when I shaved the regrowth when I was cleaning up my brow line. You can also see my old micro blade ink at the tail end of my brows.

Well there you go. My brows are pitiful but fingers crossed I will have full luscious brows by this time next month.

Well that’s all for now dolls. Hope you have a great rest of your day/night. Please be safe. Remember ….. Save a spoon for a bit of lipstick.
