Hey doll hey!! How’s your day/night going? Great I hope.I’m off to a late start today. Slept in until 8:30 Am. Stayed up late watching YouTube videos. I learned how to laminate my brows at home …. I really want to try this but I have to wait till my brows grow in thicker before I try it. I still don’t have the Covid-19 test results back … My doctor said that they are still a few days to a week backed up on top of the 10 extra days that they initially states. So that’s a bit frustrating. Hubby went back to work today after a week off. He was told today that his company may have to go on temporary layoff for non essential personnel and that essential personnel may have to go on furlough for a week or two or possible take a 10% cut in pay …. so that’s a bit troublesome. Well enough of the stressful let’s talk scent and Face of the Day ….

Base:
I primed my face using Wet n Wild PhotoFocus Dewy Face Primer ($5.99 at Ulta) and also primed my pore areas using Tarte Clean Slate Timeless Smoothing Primer ($39 at Ulta). My foundation today is a combo of 2 pumps of Marc Jacobs Dew Drops Coconut Gel Highlighter ($45 at Sephora) in the shade Dew You? and 4 pumps of J Cat Beauty HD Perfection Skinsealer Foundation ($7.99 but on sale for $5 on their website) in the shade Warm Honey. I lightly color corrected my under eyes using Pixi by Petra Correction Concentrate ($12 at Target and on the Pixi Beauty website) in the shade Brightening Peach. I used 5 dots of L’Oreal Infallible Full Wear Concealer ($13.49 at Ulta) in the shade Cashmere. I set my full face using Believe Beauty Matte Blur Loose Powder ($5 at Dollar General) in the shade Translucent and warmed up my face using ColourPop Pressed Bronzer ($8 on their website) in the shade Talk to the Palm. For touch up powder today I am using Physicians Formula Natural Defense Setting the Tone Finishing Powder ($14.99 at Target) in the shade Light.
Eyes: I primed my lids using P.Louise Base ($10 pound sterling/ $12.08 USD on their website… can also be found on the Morphie website for $15) in the shade Rumour 0.5 and today I chose not to set the base. For today’s eye look I used the Urban Decay Naked Ultimate Basics Palette (was $54 but is now discontinued …. can still be found on some websites and on Amazon). For my transition shade I used the color Faith (a medium dark brown with warm yellow undertones matte). As my crease and the outer 1/3 of my mobile lid I used the shade Look Out (a warm dark brown matte). On the remaining 2/3 of my mobile lid I used the shade Pre-Game (a warm yellow matte) and then I layered the Hikari Creme Pigment ($15 on their website) in the shade Fairytale (an icy white shimmer). I then went in with just a little of the shade Extra Bitter (a warm medium copper brown with a slight reddish undertone matte) and dusted it at the top of my transition shade to add a bit more warmth in the transition. I also used this shade on the middle 1/3 of the mobile lid to blend the outer and inner 1/3 together. For the lower lash line I used more of the shade Faith (a medium dark brown with warm yellow undertones matte) and then went in with more of the shade Extra Bitter (a warm medium copper brown with a slight reddish undertone matte). I lined my lower waterlines using BH Cosmetics Power Pencil ($8 at Ulta and on their website) in the shade Beige. I highlighted my inner corners using Hikari Cosmetics Creme Pigment ($15 on their website) in the shade Honeydew (icy pink with silver flip). I set my brows using Maybelline Great Lash Mascara ($6.99 at Ulta but I purchased mine from Amazon) in clear and then filled in my brows using Benefit Precisely My Brow Pencil ($24 at Ulta and Sephora) in the shade 4.5 and then I carved out my brow line using the BH Studio Pro Brow Highlighter ($5 on their website) on the shimmer and the matte sides and set the brow line using the shade Blow (a light peach beige satin). I popped on a pair Kiss Looks So Natural Lashes ($12 for 5 pairs at Ulta) in the style Flirty and coated my upper and lower lashes with L’Oreal Voluminous Carbon Black Mascara ($8.99 at Ulta).
Cheeks and Lips: For blush today I used the ColourPop Pressed Powder Blush ($8 on their website) in the shade Catch My Vibe (pale baby pink matte). I highlighted my Cupid’s Bow, tops of the cheeks, bridge of the nose, center of my chin, and high points of the brows using Jouer Powder Highlighter ($24 at Sephora) in the shade Citrine (Shimmering Gold). I lined my lips using ColourPop Lippie Pencil (only sold in the lippie pencil vault on their website) in the shade Hoopty (burgundy) and filled in the lips using ColourPop Lippie Stix (only sold in the lippie stix vault on their website) in the shade Thousand Percent (rich chocolate cherry matte).
Final Thoughts: I really don’t have much to say for my final thoughts this week. I’m starting to get cabin fever as is probably most of the world right now. I had a company reach out to me to test out one of their products for review …. I will haul it and then review it once I receive it. I should be receiving my purchase from ColourPop of a palette I put together and 2 more lipsticks tomorrow so I will haul and swatch them tomorrow for you …. I did get the bad news that ColourPop has suspended their processing and distribution centers so until this Corona Virus thing is over I wont be able to swatch or haul the new Mulan Collection for you…. I will once I have received it. Also I purchased a full face of the K-Beauty brand Joah and am currently waiting for my order to be processed and shipped. I took advantage of their sale that they are currently running for buy 1 get 1 1/2 off … I got 25 items for $20 including tax and shipping.
Well that’s all for now dolls. Hope you enjoy the rest of your day/night, that you are in good health, that you are in great spirits, and that you are having a good pain day. Remember …. Save a spoon for a bit of lipstick.
XOXO
