Smokey Bronze Face of the Day

Hey doll hey!!! How’s you day/night going? Great I hope. I’m feeling a bit better but am FINALLY off of quarantine!!! The doctor’s office called and told me that my Covid-19 test came back NEGATIVE!!! So I went food shopping today so I could get a bit of fresh air and sun, if only for a few moments.

Today I am wearing Juicy Couture as my perfume. I wanted to go glam today so this is the look I came up with. So let’s jump into this Face of the Day ….

Base:                                                                                                                                                         I primed my face using JCat Beauty Prime and Glow Face Illuminator ($7.99 on their website) in the Licorice formula. Eyes:                                                                                                                                                         I primed my lids using P.Louise Base ($10 pound sterling/ $12.08 USD on their website… can also be found on the Morphie website for $15) in the shade Rumour 0.5 and today I chose not to set the base. For today’s eye look I used the Urban Decay Born To Run palette ($49 at Sephora). For my transition shade I used the color Riff (brown-nude with floating micro-sparkle lightly sequin). For my outer v, crease, and outer 1/3 of the mobile lid I used the shade Punk (red-brown matte). On the remaining 2/3 of my mobile lid I used the color Double Life  (rust metallic) and then I used the shade Ignite (rose gold metallic) over the inner 1/3 of the mobile lid to add extra dimension. On the lower lash line I created a drop shadow using more of the shade Riff. I deepened the lash line using more of the shade Punk and then I used more of the shade Ignite on the inner 1/3 of the lash line. I highlighted the corners using Stranded (pale rose gold shimmer) I tight lined the upper and lower waterlines using Pixi by Petra Endless Silky Eye Pen ($12 at Target) in the shade Black Caviar (deep brown). I set my brows using Maybelline Great Lash Mascara ($6.99 at Ulta but I purchased mine from Amazon) in clear and then filled in my brows using Milani Stay Put Brow Color ($8.49 at Ulta) in the shade 05 Dark Brown. I carved out my brow line using the BH Studio Pro Brow Highlighter ($5 on their website) on the matte sides and set the brow line using L’Oreal 24-HR Infallible Eyeshadow ($7.99 at Walmart) in the shade 899 Endless Pearl (a creamy vanilla matte). I popped on a pair of Profusion Beauty 3D Faux Mink Lashes ($7 for pack of 5 on their website) in the style Big Tease and coated my upper and lower lashes with L’Oreal Voluminous Carbon Black Mascara ($8.99 at Ulta).

I highlighted my Cupid’s Bow, tops of the cheeks, bridge of the nose, center of my chin, and high points of the brows using Essence Pure Nude Highlighter ($4.99 at Ulta) in the shade 10 Be My Highlight. Final Thoughts:                                                                                                                                      It feels great to be off quarantine finally. I missed just being able to go to the end of my driveway to get the mail. I missed food shopping and I missed hugging my God baby who lives with me.

When I went food shopping today I still exercised caution and stayed 6 feet away from everyone… used disinfecting wipes on the food buggy before using it, did not touch my face (this one was hard because my nose is still runny and my brow itched a ton), and as soon as I came home I promptly washed my hands. I had forgotten my gloves when I left so I washed my hands for a full minute to make sure I killed any potential bacteria.

I did noticed that there were a heap of cars on the road today …. seems like not everyone is adhering to the shelter in place order for my county.

I was able to help an older lady today at the food store which made me feel good and I made sure to make it a point to thank my cashier for their hard work as well….

Well that’s all for now dolls. I hope you are in good health and spirits and that you have a great rest of your day/night. Remember dolls …. Save a spoon for a bit of lipstick.

XOXO
