Hey doll hey!! How are you doing today? Great I hope. Well…. I come to you with a caution about exfoliating your lips daily and or being too rough on your lips!
I use one of those double sided silicone exfoliating brushes. I use to use it daily on just the small nub side …. but I had forgotten to exfoliate my lips in about 2 weeks … so I used first the bigger nib side and then I went back over my lips using the smaller nib side … I noticed I had a ton of dead skin sloughing off so I decided to rub it a bit more and I applied a bit too much pressure.
So I’m coming to you with a caution … when exfoliating your lips use only the gentlest of pressure and do not exfoliate for more than 1 minute… even if you having gotten all of the dead skin off in the first go …. leave it for the next day ….this way you don’t end up with a nasty abrasion on your lip too.

Ouch that look sore hun, have you got an overnight lip mask? That will help a lot and some witch hazel which will help as well. I used a lip exfoliating which is in a lipstick shape x

It really is sore. No I dont have a lup mask … What are some of your favorites so I can look into maybe purchasing one.

Iām currently loving all of W7 ones they just brought out some new ones, but itās easy to make your own ones as well, use Vaseline and a favourite lip balm you have and use some coconut oil and mix together, it will help to recover your lips xx

Oh this is so true. They advertise all these products to exfoliate lips, but you gotta be careful! It hurts so bad when you over do it. However, I’ve found if I don’t gently exfoliate my lips now and then, they’ll get too dry and peel and the result is the same.

Same here. Thank goodness my lip has finally healed. Now I only exfoliate my lips every other day and very gently
