Hey doll hey! Hope you are having a great day/night! I’m doing pretty good today. Woke up early and made my hubby and mother a tomato and mozzarella frittata. This was the first time in a long while I was able to make them breakfast. Normally I am too stiff and achy in the morning to be able to stand fro very long.

Today I am wearing Elizabeth Arden Red Door Revealed perfume and I felt like doing a berry eye and lip combo today …. so let’s jump into today’s Face of the Day ….
Base: I primed my face today using Benefit The Porefessional Hydrating Primer ($32 at Ulta and Sephora) and then went in with a touch of Tarte Clean Slate Timeless Smoothing Primer ($39 at Sephora) around my pores. My foundation today is a combo of 7 pumps of BECCA Backlight Priming Filter ($39 at Sephora), 5 literal drops of L’Oreal True Match Lumi Glow Amour ($14.99 at Ulta) in the shade 507 Day Break, and 4 pumps of BH Cosmetics Naturally Flawless Liquid Foundation ($9.50 at Ulta) in the shade 208 Medium Beige. I color corrected using Pixi by Petra Correction Concentrate ($12 at Target) in the shade Brightening Peach. I concealed my under eyes using Flower Beauty Light Illusion Full Coverage Concealer ($10 at Ulta) in the shade L3-4 Light. I set my full face using Too Faced Born This Way Ethereal Setting Powder ($33 at Ulta and Sephora) in the shade Translucent. I warmed up my face using Benefit Boxed Bronzer ($30 at Ulta and Sephora) in the shade Hoola. For touch up powder today I am using Pixi by Petra Colour Correcting Powder Foundation ($20 at Target) in the shade NO. 2 Nude.
Eyes: I primed my lids using P.Louise Base ($10 pound sterling/ $12.08 USD on their website… can also be found on the Morphie website for $15) in the shade Rumour 0.5 and today I chose not to set the base. For today’s eye look I used the Revealed Rouge Palette ($20 on the Coastal Scents website) from Coastal Scents. For my transition shade I used the color I’m Peachy (a mid-toned pastel peach matte) which I used from lash to brow bone. For the crease I used the shade Crave (a deep dusty berry matte). I deepened the outer 1/3 of the mobile lid and the outer v using the shade Night Rush (a mid-toned red based chocolate brown matte). On the remaining 2/3 of the mobile lid I used the shade Red Delight (a cool toned light berry pink metallic) and then I went in with the shade Devilish (a dusty red berry metallic) and patted that over the middle 1/3 to blend inner and outer 1/3 of the lid. On the lower lash line I used more of the shade Crave and smoked it out using more of the shade I’m Peachy. I then darkened my lash line using more of the shade Night Rush. I highlighted the inner corners first with the shade Shiny (an icy vanilla metallic) and then topped that using the shade Knit (a rosey gold) from the Rachh Loves X Pixi The Layers Highlighting Palette ($24 at Target). I lined my lower and upper waterlines using Charlotte Tilbury Eye Powder Pencil ($22 at Sephroa) in the shade The Classic (a dusty deep brown). I set my brows using the soap brow method and then filled in my brows using ELF Lock On Liner & Brow Cream ($4 on their website) in the shade Medium Brown. I carved out my brow line using the BH Studio Pro Brow Highlighter ($5 on their website) on the matte side and set the brow line using first the shade Peach Party (a slightly peachy vanilla matte) and then went into more of the shade Shiny to add some shine to the brow bone. I coated my upper and lower lashes with L’Oreal Voluminous Carbon Black Mascara ($8.99 at Ulta), opting not to use falsies today to give my natural lashes a break from the glue.
Cheeks and Lips: My blush today is Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-HR Blush ($29 at Sephora) in the shade Seduce (a rosey nude matte). I highlighted my Cupid’s Bow, tops of the cheeks, center of the chin, bridge of the nose, and high points of the brows using the Rachh Loves X Pixi The Layers Highlighting Palette ($24 at Target). I used the shade Knit (a rosey gold) for the tops of my cheeks, cupid’s bow and high points of the brows, I used the a combo of the shade Knit with Lacy (icy pink with a silver flip) for the chin and bridge of the nose. I then used the shade Clutch (Light Champagne) to brighten the Cupid’s Bow further. I lined and filled in my lips using ColourPop Lippie Pencil ($7 on their website) in the shade Ellarie (a blackened cranberry) and topped off my lips using ColourPop Lippie Stix (only available in their Big Box of Lippie Stix vault on their website) in the shade Casanova (bold watermelon pink creme).
Final Thoughts: So I have noticed that my skin is being just a hing temperamental this week. I think this is because I introduced homemade rice water toner into my skin care routine. It takes a little bit for your skin to adjust to something new so I’m not that worried. I just noticed I have a few tiny pimples around my forehead and cheek area … not many but a few… now this could also be hormonal do to being that time of the month …. but I can’t be certain… I’ll just monitor the break out and see if it gets worse…. if it does than I will discontinue using the rice water toner…
Well that’s all for now dolls. Hope you have a great rest of your day/night and that you are in good health and spirits. Remember …. Save a spoon got a bit of lipstick.
XOXO
