Hey doll hey! How’s your day/night going? Great I hope. I slept in a bit because I was up late making more masks for my hubby’s crew at work.

I woke up feeling just a bit off today. My head hurts and I feel very fatigued so I decided to do a quick laid-back makeup look. Today I am wearing Kate Spade Live Colorfully perfume. Let’s jump into this Face of the Day ….

Base: I primed my face today using a touch of Tarte Clean Slate Timeless Smoothing Primer ($39 at Sephora) around my pores. My foundation today is a combo of 7 pumps of BECCA Backlight Priming Filter ($39 at Sephora), 5 literal drops of L’Oreal True Match Lumi Glow Amour ($14.99 at Ulta) in the shade 507 Day Break, and 4 pumps of Benefit Hello Happy Flawless Brightening Foundation ($30 at Ulta) in the shade 4. I color corrected using Pixi by Petra Correction Concentrate ($12 at Target) in the shade Brightening Peach. I concealed my under eyes using Flower Beauty Light Illusion Full Coverage Concealer ($10 at Ulta) in the shade L3-4 Light. I set my full face using Too Faced Born This Way Ethereal Setting Powder ($33 at Ulta and Sephora) in the shade Translucent. I warmed up my face using Benefit Boxed Bronzer ($30 at Ulta and Sephora) in the shade Hoola. For touch up powder today I am using Pixi by Petra Colour Correcting Powder Foundation ($20 at Target) in the shade NO. 2 Nude.
Eyes: I primed my lids using P.Louise Base ($10 pound sterling/ $12.08 USD on their website… can also be found on the Morphie website for $15) in the shade Rumour 0.5 and today I chose not to set the base. For today’s eye look I used the ELF The New Classics Palette ($14 on their website). For my crease color I chose the color Darling (a mid-toned yellow based camel matte). For my mobile lid I used the shade Glamour (an icy vanilla with a golden shift metallic). I then tapped my brush into the shade Gilded (a soft peridot metallic) and dusted it lightly onto my crease shade to add a bit more dimension. On the lower lash line I used more of the shade Darling and kept it close to the lash line and buffed it out with a clean fluffy brush. For my inner corner highlight I used the shade Blanc (icy white metallic). I lined my lower and upper waterlines using Charlotte Tilbury Eye Powder Pencil ($22 at Sephroa) in the shade The Classic (a dusty deep brown). I set my brows using the soap brow method and then filled in my brows using ELF Lock On Liner & Brow Cream ($4 on their website) in the shade Medium Brown. I carved out my brow line using the BH Studio Pro Brow Highlighter ($5 on their website) on the matte side and set the brow line using the shade Creme (a vanilla matte). I coated my upper and lower lashes with L’Oreal Voluminous Carbon Black Mascara ($8.99 at Ulta).
Cheeks and Lips: For my blush and highlight I used the Catrice California in a Box Palette () in the color way 010 Malibu Beach. The blush is the 2nd shade on the top row (a rosey coral matte). I highlighted my Cupid’s Bow, tops of the cheeks, center of the chin, bridge of the nose, and high points of the brows using the highlighter shade (a soft champagne). I lined and filled in my lips using Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat ($22 at Sephora) in the shade Pillow Talk (a soft pink nude) and topped my lips off using ColourPop Lippie Pencil ($7 on their website) in the shade Slacker ( soft salmon creme).
Final Thoughts: I know I’ve been using my Benefit Hoola bronzer a heap this past week or so … I hit pan on it a few weeks ago and since I have 2 hoola bronzers … the one I hit pan on and the one that is in my Babe on Board palette … I decided to use up the one I hit pan on so that I can have an open space in my bronzer collection to move one of the bronzers from my over flow into that slot.
Well that’s all for now dolls. I hope you are all healthy, in good spirits, and enjoying the rest of your day/night. I’ve placed a small Beautylish order…. I ordered a few new Charlotte Tilbury items and some more serums and a new BECCA Backlight Priming Filter as I am almost out of the one I have. I’ll haul them as soon as I receive it … I only just placed my order today. In the meantime dolls …. Remember … Save a spoon for a bit of lipstick.
XOXO
What a nice thing to do by making the masks! My daughter is a nurse and on the front line caring for the patients that have the virus. Someone made masks for them and they wore them on top of their masks that weren’t very safe. She, and her co-workers were so grateful!
