Everyday Makeup Look Face of the Day and Quick Skin Care Haul

Hey doll hey!! How’s your day/night going? Great I hope. I’m in a world of pain right now. I got up around 8 Am, did a quick everyday makeup look, made breakfast for my family, took my blog pictures, and then sat down and made another 25 mask to give to my extended family… I’m exhausted. I’m going to take a few days off from making masks to give my body a much needed break, by then my new sewing supplies should be here and I will get to work on making masks for my local hospital and Fire/EMS station.

Today I am wearing Gucci Bamboo perfume. Let’s jump into this Face of the Day …

Base:                                                                                                                                               Today I primed my face using Benefit The Porefessional Hydrating Primer ($32 at Ulta and Sephora) and Tarte Clean Slate Timeless Smoothing Primer ($39 at Sephora) around my pores.  My foundation today is a combo of 7 pumps of BECCA Backlight Priming Filter ($39 at Sephora) and 3 pumps of Believe Beauty Skin Foundation ($4.50 only at Dollar General) in the shade Nude. I color corrected using Pixi by Petra Correction Concentrate ($12 at Target) in the shade Brightening Peach. I concealed my under eyes using Catrice Cosmetics Liquid Camouflage High Coverage Concealer ($5.99 at Ulta) in the shade 005 Light Neutral. I set my full face using Too Faced Born This Way Ethereal Setting Powder ($33 at Ulta and Sephora) in the shade Translucent. I warmed up my face using Benefit Boxed Bronzer ($30 at Ulta and Sephora) in the shade Hoola. For touch up powder today I am using Milani Conceal + Perfect Shine Proof Powder ($10.99 at Walgreens) in the shade 02 Nude.

Eyes:                                                                                                                                                         I primed my lids using P.Louise Base ($10 pound sterling/ $12.08 USD on their website… can also be found on the Morphie website for $15) in the shade Rumour 0.5 and today I chose not to set the base. For today’s eye look I used the ColourPop Whatever Palette ($18 on their website). I started by using the shade Pink Slip (soft beigey taupe matte) from lash to brow bone. I then used the shade Tardy (soft golden champagne super shock shadow) all over my mobile lid. I then dusted a little more of Pink Slip along my lower lash line and highlighted my inner corners using Urban Decay Single Shadow ($20 at Ulta) in the shade Midnight Cowboy (a pink champagne with silver reflect metallic). I lined my lower and upper waterlines using Charlotte Tilbury  Eye Powder Pencil ($22 at Sephroa) in the shade The Classic (a dusty deep brown). I set my brows using the soap brow method and then filled in my brows using Benefit Precisely My Brow Pencil ($24 at Ulta) in the shade 4.5 and then I carved out my brow line using the BH Studio Pro Brow Highlighter ($5 on their website) on the matte side and set the brow line using Wet n Wild Color Icon Single Shadow ($.99 at Walgreens) in the shade Sugar (iced white). I coated my upper and lower lashes with L’Oreal Voluminous Carbon Black Mascara ($8.99 at Ulta).

I highlighted my the tops of the cheeks, center of the chin, bridge of the nose, and high points of the brows using the J Cat Beauty You Glow Girl Baked Highlighter ($8.99 at Ulta) in the shade YGG 102 Twilight (a golden pearl). I lined and filled in my lips using Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat ($22 at Sephora) in the shade Pillow Talk (a soft pink nude) and topped my lips off using Charlotte Tilbury Hot Lips ($34 at Sephora and on the Beautylish website) in the shade Kim KW (basic nude creme).

Final Thoughts:                                                                                                                                First off … the shade Tardy from this ColourPop Whatever palette is my all time 100% favorite eye shadow shade on the freaking planet!!! I so wish they would release this shade as a single super shock eyeshadow shade!! I would totally purchase multiples.

Second: I received all my new skin care items in the mail today ….
