Hey doll hey! How’s your day/night going? Great I hope. I slept in just a bit today… getting up around 9:30 Am. Still in a world of pain today so I am taking another day off from making masks. I also chose another simple everyday look to cut down on the amount of time I would have to be sitting upright for a too long. I used the new products I purchase at Dollar General from the Believe Beauty brand.
Today I am wearing Burberry Brit perfume.
Well let’s jump into today’s Face of the Day ….
Base: Today I primed my face using Benefit The Porefessional Hydrating Primer ($32 at Ulta and Sephora) and Tarte Clean Slate Timeless Smoothing Primer ($39 at Sephora) around my pores. For foundation I am wearing a combo of the last bit that I had left of my BECCA Backlight Priming Filter ($39 at Ulta and Sephora)… I would say it would be about 2 pumps, 2 pumps of the Believe Beauty All Over Glow ($5 at Dollar General) in the shade Forbidden Kiss, and 3 droppers of Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Water Foundation ($39 at Sephora) in the shade Light Sand. I color corrected using Pixi by Petra Correction Concentrate ($12 at Target) in the shade Brightening Peach. I concealed my under eyes using Catrice Cosmetics Liquid Camouflage High Coverage Concealer ($5.99 at Ulta) in the shade 005 Light Neutral. I set my full face using Believe Beauty Matte Blur Loose Powder ($5 at Dollar General) in the shade Translucent. I warmed up my face using Benefit Boxed Bronzer ($30 at Ulta and Sephora) in the shade Hoola. For touch up powder today I am using Milani Conceal + Perfect Shine Proof Powder ($10.99 at Walgreens) in the shade 02 Nude.
Eyes: I primed my lids using P.Louise Base ($10 pound sterling/ $12.08 USD on their website… can also be found on the Morphie website for $15) in the shade Rumour 0.5 and today I chose not to set the base. For today’s eye look I used Believe Beauty Eyeshadow Palette ($5 at Dollar General) in the color story Lovestruck. I used the 3rd shade of the 1st row (a basic taupe matte) from lash line to brow bone. I used the 2nd shade of the 1st row (a mid-toned champagne metallic) all over the mobile lid. I used more of the taupe shade to smoke out my lower lash line and then added the 1st shade of the 2nd row (an orange/coral satin) to warm up the lash line because I felt that the taupe left my under eyes looking lifeless, I then took the lightest tap of this same shade and ran it over the brow area of the crease to add just a touch of that warmth from the lower lash line to the whole eye look. I highlighted the inner corners using the 1st shade of the 1st row (a light ivory/vanilla shimmer). I lined my lower and upper waterlines using BH Cosmetics Power Pencil (reg $8 but on sale for $6 on their website) in the shade Black. I set my brows using Believe Beauty Eyebrow Styling Gel ($4 at Dollar General) in clear and then filled in my brows using NYX Micro Brow Pencil ($10 at Ulta) in the shade Espresso and then I carved out my brow line using the BH Studio Pro Brow Highlighter ($5 on their website) on the matte side and set the brow line using the 1st shade of the 1st row (a creamy vanilla matte) of the Believe Beauty Eyeshadow Palette ($5 at Dollar Genereal). I coated my upper and lower lashes with ColourPop BFF Mascara ($8 on their website and at Ulta) in the color Black on Black.
Cheeks and Lips: For blush today I am wearing Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-HR Blush ($29 at Ulta) in the shade Captivating (bright peach matte). I highlighted my the tops of the cheeks, Cupid’s Bow, center of the chin, bridge of the nose, and high points of the brows using the J Cat Beauty You Glow Girl Baked Highlighter ($8.99 at Ulta) in the shade YGG 102 Twilight (a golden pearl). I lined my lips with NYX Suede Matte Lip Liner ($4 at Ulta) in the shade Whipped Caviar (a neutral grey toned pink) and filled in my lips using Tarte Sea Color Splash Lipstick ($21 at Sephora) in the shade Sun Kissed (a pink peach creme).
Final Thoughts: I was finally able to do an Olaplex treatment in my hair last night so my hair is currently so soft and fluffy.
I really am loving these mini palettes from Believe Beauty. The shadows are finely milled and blend like a dream and they are super pigmented.
Well that’s all for now dolls. I hope you have a great rest of your day/night and that you are in good spirits and good health. Remember dolls … Save a spoon for a bit of lipstick.
XOXO
