Coral Eye Face of the Day

Hey doll hey!! How’s your day/night going? Great I hope. I got an incredible night’s sleep last night! I’m in a heap of pain today but at least I got some good sleep for a change.

I wanted to play with my Believe Beauty Eyeshadow Palette ($5 at Dollar General) in the color story Lovestruck again… so I did a coral eye look. Today I am wearing Calvin Klein Deep Euphoria perfume. Also, I got my hair dye in the mail today … this is the one I will be using tonight …

This will be the first time I use this brand … I decided to try it because their website says that it’s anti-breakage technology K●BOND-PLEX™ that  repairs inner hair structure and coats the hair surface after the coloration process for strong and healthy-looking hair. They say it’s 100% grey coverage with 80% less breakage. I purchased this box on Amazon for $9.97… I also purchased 3 more boxes from Walgreen’s website because Amazon has a 1 box per customer policy. I’ll post pictures tomorrow on the final results.

Now … let’s jump into today’s Face of the Day ….

Base:                                                                                                                                               Today I primed my face using Benefit The Porefessional Hydrating Primer ($32 at Ulta and Sephora) and Tarte Clean Slate Timeless Smoothing Primer ($39 at Sephora) around my pores. For foundation I am wearing a combo of 1 pump of the Believe Beauty All Over Glow ($5 at Dollar General) in the shade Forbidden Kiss, and 3 squeezes of L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Glow foundation ($12.99 at Ulta) in the shade 202 Creamy Natural. I concealed my under eyes using Catrice Cosmetics Liquid Camouflage High Coverage Concealer ($5.99 at Ulta) in the shade 005 Light Neutral. I set my full face using Believe Beauty Matte Blur Loose Powder ($5 at Dollar General) in the shade Translucent. I warmed up my face using Benefit Boxed Bronzer ($30 at Ulta and Sephora) in the shade Hoola. For touch up powder today I am using Milani Conceal + Perfect Shine Proof Powder ($10.99 at Walgreens) in the shade 02 Nude.

Eyes:                                                                                                                                                         I primed my lids using P.Louise Base ($10 pound sterling/ $12.08 USD on their website… can also be found on the Morphie website for $15) in the shade Rumour 0.5 and today I chose not to set the base. For today’s eye look I used Believe Beauty Eyeshadow Palette ($5 at Dollar General) in the color story Lovestruck. I used the 1st shade of the 2nd row (an orange/coral satin) from lash to brow bone. I then went into the Believe Beauty Eyeshadow Palette ($5 at Dollar General) in the color story Nearly Nude and used the 3rd shade of the 2nd row (an antiqued gold metallic) all over my mobile lid.  I used more of the 2nd row (an orange/coral satin) from the Lovestruck palette on the lower lash line and then highlighted my inner corners using the 1st shade of the 1st row (a light ivory/vanilla shimmer) of the Lovestruck palette. I lined my lower and upper waterlines using BH Cosmetics Power Pencil (reg $8 but on sale for $6 on their website) in the shade Black. I set my brows using Believe Beauty Eyebrow Styling Gel ($4 at Dollar General) in clear and then filled in my brows using NYX Eyebrow Powder Pencil ($6.50 at Ulta) in the shade Taupe (not the best tone match for me but I’ll make it work until my new brow pencils come in). I carved out my brow line using the BH Studio Pro Brow Highlighter ($5 on their website) on the shimmer side and set the brow line using the 1st shade of the 1st row (a creamy vanilla matte)  of the Believe Beauty Eyeshadow Palette ($5 at Dollar Genereal) in the color story Nearly Nude. I coated my upper and lower lashes with ColourPop BFF Mascara ($8 on their website and at Ulta) in the color Black on Black.

Cheeks and Lips:                                                                                                                               For blush today I am wearing Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-HR Blush ($29 at Ulta) in the shade Captivating (bright peach matte). I highlighted my the tops of the cheeks, Cupid’s Bow, center of the chin, bridge of the nose, and high points of the brows using the J Cat Beauty You Glow Girl Baked Highlighter ($8.99 at Ulta) in the shade YGG 102 Twilight (a golden pearl). I lined my lips with NYX Suede Matte Lip Liner ($4 at Ulta) in the shade Whipped Caviar (a neutral grey toned pink) and filled in my lips using Tarte Sea Color Splash Lipstick ($21 at Sephora) in the shade Sun Kissed (a pink peach creme).

Final Thoughts:                                                                                                                                      I have several beauty related purchases that I am currently waiting on … once I receive them I will be doing another beauty haul. This haul is mostly new foundations I wanted to try out and a few glowy primers a long with a few other items peppered in. So I will do a few review posts once those items are received.

I have been digging this lip combo so much this week … hope you wont get too tired of seeing it … also can you believe that my Hoola bronzer is hanging in there …. I have used it non stop since hitting pan and I still have tons left …. I’m excited, I’ve never used up a full bronzer ever.

The NYX Powder Eyebrow Pencil is a pretty decent brow pencil … it’s a wooden pencil so you have to sharpen it but that’s OK with me as long as the pencil is good. I just happened to get the wrong color for me … I’ll be using this pencil only when I’m out of my tried and true pencils.

Well that’s all for now dolls. Hope you have a great rest of your day/night and that you are both healthy and in great spirits. Remember dolls …. Have a spoon for a bit of lipstick.
