Hey doll hey! How’s your day/night going? Great I hope. I’m still having trouble sleeping. Woke up a ton last night. My muscle close to my rib just hurts a ton.
Today I am wearing Lancome La Vie Est Belle perfume. Let’s jump into today’s Face of the Day ….
Base: Today I primed my face using L’Oreal Infallible Glow-Lock Illuminating Primer ($12.99 at Ulta) and Tarte Clean Slate Timeless Smoothing Primer ($39 at Ulta and Sephora) to fill in the pores on the cheek area. My foundation today is a combo of 3 pumps Marc Jacobs Dew Drops Coconut Gel Highlighter ($45 at Sephora) in the shade Dew You? and 7 pumps ELF Flawless Finish Foundation ($6 on their website) in the shade Sand. I color corrected the under eyes using Believe Beauty Brighten Up Color Correcting Concealer ($4 only at Dollar General) in the shade Light/Medium and concealed my under eyes using NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer ($30 at Sephora) in the shade Medium 1 Custard. I set my full face using Believe Beauty Matte Blur Loose Powder ($5 at Dollar General) in the shade Translucent. I warmed up my face using Benefit Boxed Bronzer ($30 at Ulta and Sephora) in the shade Hoola. For touch up powder today I am using Milani Conceal + Perfect Shine Proof Powder ($10.99 at Walgreens) in the shade 02 Nude.
Eyes: I primed my lids using P.Louise Base ($10 pound sterling/ $12.08 USD on their website… can also be found on the Morphie website for $15) in the shade Rumour 0.5. For today’s eye look I used the Pixi by Petra Hello Beautiful Face Case ($24 at Target and on their website) in the color story Hello LA Angel. For my transition shade I used the color Casual (a mid toned coral matte) from lash line to brow bone. On my mobile lid I used the shade Sand (gold with a slight rose undertone metallic). I then used the shade Earth (a mid-toned terracotta orange matte) to deepen my outer 1/3 on the mobile lid and the outer v of the crease. I then took the shade Natural (a fiery red toned orange metallic) and patted that over the middle 1/3 of the mobile lid to help blend the inner and outer 1/3 together. For the lower lash line I created a drop shadow with more of the shade Casual. I then deepened the lash line with more of Earth. I then took more of Natural to add dimension to the under eye. I highlighted the inner corners using the shade Sunny (icy white with a gold shift metallic). I lined my lower and upper waterlines using Charlotte Tilbury The Classic Eye Powder Pencil ($22 at Sephora) in the shade Audrey (soft dark brown) I set my brows using Believe Beauty Eyebrow Styling Gel ($4 at Dollar General) in clear and then filled in my brows using Believe Beauty Brow Defining Pencil ($4 Only at Dollar General) in the shade Dark Brown. I carved out my brow line using the BH Studio Pro Brow Highlighter ($5 on their website) on the shimmer side and set the brow line using the shade Clean (a bright vanilla matte). I coated my upper and lower lashes with Milani Dangerous Lengths Mascara ($9.99 at Ulta).
Cheeks and Lips: For blush today I chose Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-HR Blush ($29 at Sephora) in the shade Seduce (rosey nude matte). I highlighted my the tops of the cheeks, Cupid’s Bow, center of the chin, bridge of the nose, and high points of the brows using Benefit Boxed Highlighter ($30 at Ulta and Sephora) in the shade Cookie (a golden pearl). I lined and then filled in my lips using NYX Suede Matte Lip Liner ($4 at Ulta) in the shade Wipped Caviar (a reddish pink nude). I topped the lips off using ColourPop Creme Lux Lipstick ($8 on their website) in the shade Layover (a medium rosy beige creme).
Final Thoughts: I should be receiving my Beautylish order tomorrow. It’s just a few items but I am excited to get it. I still am waiting on 2 orders from Ulta and a foundation that I ordered from Il Makiage. The order I want most is the Mulan Collection I ordered from ColourPop … but will have to wait for them to be back to business as usual before that order will be mailed.
If you are familiar with the mobile app TIkTok, than you know they have videos that have hacks for beauty … I just learned one that is genius for when you are washing and rinsing your face off. So that you don’t get water dripping down your arms and elbows you can put a scrunchie on your wrist… this way the scrunchie catches all the water and keeps the water from getting everywhere.
Well that’s all for now dolls. I hope you enjoy the rest of your day/night and that you are in good spirits and good health. Remember …. Save a spoon for a bit of lipstick.
XOXO
that’s a great tip to use a scrunchie–will have to try that! your makeup is gorgeous!
