Hey doll hey!!! How’s your day/night going? Great I hope. I’m dropping by with a mini haul of the remaining thing I purchased from Ulta this month … All swatches are done on bare skin with no primer … so let’s jump into it ….

20200427_173304
VDL Pantone Collection Lumilayer Primer $32 for 1 fluid ounce of product at Ulta. It’s build as a product that  creates a three-dimensional face through voluminous light and as a smooth, radiant base that atches and reflects light for a natural glow from within effect.

It’s a white cream product with a pump that dispenses a pea sized amount of product per pump.

The picture on the left is without flash and the one on the right is with flash. There is a slight pink pearlescent sheen to this primer so this will not be a primer you can get away of wearing on it’s own without it looking a tad odd. But I think this is going to look amazing paired with a BB or CC cream or a tinted moisturizer.

Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder for Under Eyes $28 for .14 ounces of product at Ulta. This powder is billed as being a transparent, weightless powder to set under-eye concealer, brightens the look of dark circles, and diminishes signs of visible fine lines.

This powder is finely milled and very smooth. There is a slight sheen to this powder as well. There is a slight sheen to this powder once you buff it out.

The picture on the left is with flash and the one on the right is without flash. This swatch is just me patting it into the skin. I noticed it felt a tiny bit gritty but nothing that should scratch the under  eye area.

The picture on the left is without flash and the one on the right is with flash. This is what it looks like once the powder is buffed in … you can see on the picture on the right the slight sheen I was referring to. This is such a light powder that I’m not sure this will set concealer very well … I’ll let you know once I try it out tomorrow.

Juvia’s Place The Nubian Eyeshadow Palette $20 for .63 ounce of total product at Ulta. This palette is billed as featuring the most essential collection of neutral colors. These highly pigmented colors blend flawlessly and deliver incredible staying power. This palette offers a seamless transition from subtle everyday looks to sultry night-time looks.

The picture on the left is without flash and the one on the right is with flash.

The picture on the left is with flash and the one on the right is without flash.  There are no names to the shades … so from left to right : Iridescent Pink, Matte Tan, Matte Nude Brown, Shimmer Champagne, Shimmer Light Gold with Pink undertone, Metallic Light Gold.

The picture on the left is without flash and the one on the right is with flash. Again there are no names to the shades … so from left to right : Shimmer Goldish Auburn, Metallic Bronze Gold, Metallic Dark Auburn, Matte Brown, Metallic Dark Brown, Matte Ebony Brown.

The shadows in this palette are finely milled and did not kickback when I swatched them. The last shade of the palette gave me a little trouble swatching… all the other shades are done with 1 pass and 1 swipe … the last shade was just a tiny patchy and I needed to go in with 3 passes and 4 swipes. I am so looking forward to testing this palette out tomorrow.

I do have 1 more eye shadow palette in the mail (it’s an indie brand called Makeup Mafia, they reached out to me on Twitter and asked if they could send me a palette to test out and write a review about) I should be receiving it by the end of the month.

Well that’s all for now dolls. Hope you have a great rest of your day/night. Remember … Save a spoon for a bit of lipstick

XOXO
