The Eyeshadow Palette Tag

Hey doll hey!!! How’s your night/day going? Great I hope.

So I saw this really cool tag on YouTube called the Eyeshadow Palette Tag by Samantha March  and Allie Glines and thought it was such a fun video collaboration that I thought I’d join in and do a blog post about it…..

So let’s jump right on in …..

 

1. What is your newest palette?

Juvia’s Palce The Nubian Palette ($20 at Ulta). This palette was just purchased this month.

 

2. What is your oldest palette?

Kat Von D Shade + Light Eye Contour Palette (discontinued now that they re-branded as KVD Vegan Beauty). Since I decluttered my makeup collection this is the only palette I kept from all my older palettes.

 

3. What is your most expensive palette?

Charlotte Tilbury Instant Look in a Palette Gorgeous, Glowing Beauty ($75 on Beautylish website). Technically this is an eye palette even though it has some face products. This is a pretty palette but it’s sort of a 1 hit wonder.

4. What is your most affordable palette?

Believe Beauty Eyeshadow Palette ($5 only at Dollar General Stores) in the color way Nearly Nude. I actually own 2 of these palettes and hope to be able to collect them all they are so good for this price point.

5. What is your everyday palette?

ColourPop Bear Necessities Palette ($34 on their website). I could use this palette everyday for the rest of my life and never tire of it. It’s a great everyday neutral palette. It’s so dirty … sorry for that … I just use it everyday when ever I can.

6. What is your most colorful palette?

Too Faced Chocolate Gold Eyeshadow Palette ($49 at Ulta and Sehora). I have a few monochromatic colorful palettes but this is the only palette I own that has several fun colors in it.

 

7. What is your smallest palette?

Believe Beauty Eyeshadow Palette ($5 only at Dollar General Stores). This one is in the color way Lovestruck. I have a few smaller palettes but my smallest ones are these.

 

8. What is your biggest palete?

BH Cosmetics Ultimate Mattes 42 Color Shadow Palette ($28 on their website). I’m happy to have this one in my collection. It’s so versatile and I find that I reach for it even as a companion palette to other palettes.

 

9. What palette has your best memory?

Too Face Peanut Butter and Jelly Palette (was limited edition and no longer sold). One of my spoonie friends bought this for me for Christmas a few years back.

 

10. What palette do you think is worth the hype?

Tati Beauty Textured Neutrals Vol. 1 Palette ($48 on their website). This palette is just simply put … amazing! It really is top notch quality! This is another palette I reach for consistently I even hit pan on Soothe Matte…. which makes me sad because out of all my eyeshadows in all my eyeshadow palettes … this is my favorite shade.

 

11. What palette do you think is not worth the hype?

Pixi by Petra Hello Beautiful Face Case ($28 on their website) in the colorway Hello L.A. Angel. It’s not that it’s a bad palette… it’s just that you can’t really get many looks with it. Just a basic neutral look. I have other palettes that I can get many more looks than I can with this one.

 

12. What is your favorite palette from your favorite brand?

ColourPop Double Entendre Palette ($18 on their website). Simply put it’s stunning! It has just the right amount of light medium and deep shades and metallics that I can use it for a full week on vacation without reduplicating the same look twice.

 

13. What is your most used palette?

Too Faced Born This Way The Natural Nudes Eye Shadow Palette ($45 at Ulta and Sephora). I just can’t help myself! I reach for this palette everyday, and everyday I have to force myself to put it down and chose a different palette. The shades and undertones are just superb in this palette.
