Hey doll hey! How’s your day/night going? Great I hope. I woke up extremely late again today, I didn’t go to bed until 4:20 AM (was up washing my makeup brushes). I woke up in pain and stiff today …. I reckon I was sitting upright a little too long last night.
For some reason my pictures came out with white cast… I’m not sure what is causing it, in real life I do not look this pale.
Todays perfume is Bath and Body Works Rose Champagne…. Let’s get into today’s Face of the Day ….
Base:
I first primed my problematic pore areas with Tarte Clean Slate Timeless Smoothing Primer ($39 at Ulta) and then primed the full face using Makeup Forever Step 1 Skin Equalizer Primer ($37 at Sephora) in Smoothing. For my foundation I chose Urabn Decay Naked Skin Weightless Ultra Definition Liquid Makeup (discontinued) in the shade 4.0. I contoured using Charlotte Tilbury Contour Wand ($38 at Sephora) in the shade Medium/Dark. I highlighted the tops of my cheek bones, bridge of the nose, center of the chin, and high points of my forehead using Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Light Wand ($38 on the Beautylish website) and then I went in with just a touch of Essence Pure Nude Highlighter ($4.99 at Ulta) in the shade Be My Light to set the high points of my face. I concealed my under eyes using Tarte Creaseless Concealer ($26 at Ulta) in the shade 20 N Light. I warmed up the perimeter of my face using Tarte Breezy Cream Bronzer ($29 on the Tarte website) in the shade Grace Bay (deep matte bronze). I set my under eyes using Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder for Under Eyes ($28 at Ulta) in the shade 1 and then set the rest of my face using the Too Faced Born This Way Ethereal Setting Powder ($33 at Ulta and Sephora) in the shade Translucent. I then topped off the perimeter of my face using a light layer of MAC Bronzing Powder ($30 at MAC) in the shade Matte Bronze. I chose the Flower Beauty Light Illusion Perfecting Powder ($13.99 at Ulta) in the shade Beige L4-M1.
Eyes:
I set my brows using Believe Beauty Eyebrow Styling Gel ($4 at Dollar General) in clear and then filled in my brows using Joah Brow Down To Me Precision Brow Pencil ($9.50 on their website) in the shade Brunette. I carved out the brow line using BH Cosmetics Studio Pro Brow Highlighter ($5 on their website) on the matte side and then I primed my lids using P.Louise Base ($10 pound sterling/ $12.08 USD on their website… can also be found on the Morphie website for $15) in the shade Rumour 0.5 and I set the whole eye space using Wet n Wild Color Icon Shadow Single ($.99 at Walgreens) in the shade Creme Burlee (a flesh toned matte). For today’s eye look I used 2 shades from the Juvia’s Palce The Nubian Palette ($20 at Ulta) and 3 shades from the Juvia’s Place The Nudes Eyeshadow Palette ($12 at Ulta). I started out with the Nudes palette and the 3rd shade of the 2nd row (a rich terracotta brown matte) all through the crease to the brow bone. I then went into the Nubian palette and took the 3rd shade of the 1st row (nude brown matte) and further defined the crease. From the Nude palette I took the 2nd shade of the 2nd row (pink champagne metallic) and patted that over the outer 1/2 of my mobile lid and then I went into the 1st shade of the 1st row (peachy champagne with silver flip metallic) and patted that over the inner 1/2 and just a little past that of the mobile lid. I then went into the Nubian palette and 2nd shade of the 3rd row (a mid-toned brown matte) and deepened the outer 1/3 of the mobile lid and the outer v of the crease. For my lower lash line I took more of the Nubian palette and 2nd shade of the 3rd row (a mid-toned brown matte) and lightly defined the lash line with it. To highlight the inner corners using 3rd shade of the 1st row of the Nude palette (champagne with gold flip) and the 1st shade of the 1st row (peachy champagne with silver flip metallic). I lined my lower water lines using ColourPop BFF Gel Liner ($6 on the ColourPop website) in the shade Get Paid (rose gold metallic). I lined my upper lash line using Bang Beauty Gel Eyeliner ($22 on their website, but I inherited mine from my best friend who passed away last year, I believe she received it in a boxy charm box) in the shade Chocolate. I coated my upper lashes using L’Oreal Voluminous Lash Primer ($8.99 at Ulta) and then I coated just the outer parts of my upper and lower lashes with 1 coat of MAC Extended Play Gigablack Lash Mascara ($20 at Ulta).
Cheeks and Lips:
I applied my blush with the rest of my cream products since I was using Tarte Sugar Rush Beach Cheeks Cream Blush ($15 on their website) in the shade Beaches & Cream (a peachy pink). I lined and filled in my lips using NYX Suede Matte Lip Liner ($4 at Ulta) in the shade Wipped Caviar (a reddish pink nude) and then topped that off with Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick ($22 at Ulta) in the shade Patina (dusty rose matte) and topped the lip off with NARS Lip Gloss ($24 at Sephora) in the shade Stripe Tease (champagne nude).
Final Thoughts:
I just placed an order on the Juvia’s Place website for 4 more eyeshadow palettes, I also have 1 palette from Ulta that I’m waiting on and several other beauty purchases that should be here by next week.
I used a few of my new beauty purchases that I hauled today but I want to wait a few days before giving my final thoughts on them since there is just a slight learning curve with them.
Also I will be doing a crafts post sometime this week coming, I’m waiting on my tie dye stuff from Amazon.
Well that’s all for now dolls. I hope you enjoy the rest of your day/night. Remember … Save a spoon for a little lipstick.
XOXO
