Hey doll hey! How’s your day/night going? Great I hope. I woke up fairly early today (around 8 AM). I have stiff joints and leg pain today but have pretty good energy levels today.
I wanted a dark smokey eye look so this is what I came up with.
Today’s perfume is Juicy Couture…. Let’s jump into today’s Face of the Day …

Base:
I first primed my problematic pore areas with ELF Poreless Putty Primer ($8 at Ulta) and then primed the full face using Dr Brandt Pores No More Pore Refiner Primer ($45 at Ulta). I then used the Pixi by Petra Flawless Beauty Primer ($22 on their website and at Target) as my glow lotion today. For foundation I chose AOA Studio Perfect BB Cream ($1 on the Shop Miss A website) in the shade Medium. I used a bit of Pixi by Petra Correction Concentrate ($12 on their website and at Target) in the shade Brightening Peach for some light color correction and for concealer I chose Private Society Coveted Concealer ($22 on their website) in the shade Medium. I contoured using Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Contour Wand ($38 at Sephora, on the Beautylish website, and on the Charlotte Tilbury website) in the shade Medium Dark to contour the perimeter of my face and down the bridge of my nose. I highlighted the tops of my cheek bones, bridge of the nose, center of the chin, and high points of my forehead using Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Light Wand ($38 on the Beautylish website, The Charlotte Tilbury website and at Sehora) in the shade Spot Light and then I went in with just a touch of Too Faced Born This Way Turn Up The Light Highlighting Palette ($42 at Ulta and Sephora) in the Light colorway and using the Glow in that kit to set the high points of my face. I set my under eyes using Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder for Under Eyes ($28 at Ulta) in the shade 1 and then set the rest of my face using the Too Faced Born This Way Ethereal Setting Powder ($33 at Ulta and Sephora) in the shade Translucent. I then topped off the perimeter of my face using a light layer of Channel Soleil Tan de Chanel ($50 on their website) in the shade Bronze Universal. I also used the Too Faced Born This Way Turn Up The Light Highlighting Palette ($42 at Ulta and Sephora) and using the Soft Focus powder as an all over finishing powder. I chose the Wet n Wild Photofocus Pressed Powder ($5.47 on their website but on sale now for $3.57) in the shade Neutral Beige as my touch up powder for the day.

Eyes:
I set my brows using Believe Beauty Eyebrow Styling Gel ($4 at Dollar General) in clear and then filled in my brows using Joah Brow Down To Me Precision Brow Pencil ($9.50 on their website) in the shade Brunette. I carved out the brow line using BH Cosmetics Studio Pro Brow Highlighter ($5 on their website) on the matte side and then I primed my lids using P.Louise Base ($10 pound sterling/ $12.08 USD on their website… can also be found on the Morphie website for $15) in the shade Rumour 0.5 and set the brow line using Wet n Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Single ($.99 at Walgreens) in the shade Sugar (icy white shimmer). For today’s look I used the Juvia’s Place The Chocolates palette ( $14 on the Juvia’s Place website). I started in the crease with the 2nd shade of the 2nd row (mustard yellow matte). I then used the 1st shade of the 2nd row (rich warm reddish brown matte) in the outer 1/3 of the mobile lid and the outer v of the crease. I then deepened the very outer part of the outer 1/3 of the mobile lid and the very outer part of the outer v using the 1st shade of the 1st row (deep chocolate brown matte). For the remaining 2/3 of the mobile lid I used the 2nd shade of the 1st row (warm brown with a brown and silver shimmer metallic) and then went back into the reddish brown to buff out the demarcation line between the outer 1/3 and inner 2/3 of the mobile lid. I created a drop shadow on the lower lash line using more of the mustard yellow shade and then deepened that drop shadow with more of the reddish brown shade. I then took more of the chocolate brown matte shade and deepened the lash line. For my inner corners I used the dazzle shade for the Too Faced Born This Way Turn Up The Light Highlighting Palette ($42 at Ulta and Sephora) in the Light colorway. I tight lined my upper and lower water lines using Pixi by Petra Endless Silky Eye Pen ($9 at Ulta) in the shade Black Cocoa (a deep brown). I coated my upper and lower lashes in 1 layer of NYX On The Rise Volume Liftscara ($11 at Ulta).

Cheeks and Lips:
For blush today I am wearing Makeup Revolution Blusher Reloaded ($6 at Ulta) in the shade Rhubarb & Custard (coral pink). On my lips today I lined and filled in my lips using L’Oreal Infallible Never Fail Long Lasting Lip Liner ($5.95 on Amazon) in the shade Coral and topped that off with Jouer High Pigment Pearl Lip Gloss ($17 on the Beautylish website) in the shade Sloane (discontinued color… it’s a mid-toned pinkish coral).

Final Thoughts:
I don’t know if I will be doing a Face of the Day post tomorrow or not. We are rearranging our bedroom furniture and my beauty nook and so I’m not sure if I will wake up and do my makeup first or not. If I get up at a reasonable time I’ll maybe do a quick and fuss free look but if not then I will just forgo my makeup so that we can move my bedroom around.
I was thinking of doing a new series called Get Ready With Me … like they do on YouTube, but in print form…. Where I would go step by step in my makeup routine and have pictures that you could follow along with … is that something you would be interested in? I have had a few people say that they like a certain look that I’ve done but that they could never do it or they wished they knew how to do it … so I figured if I did a few step by step posts it might help someone else learn a new makeup technique.
I’m also thinking about doing a few posts showing my full makeup collections piece by piece. I would do a 13 part series …. 1 post per makeup type: primer, foundation, concealer, contour/bronzer, highlighters, face powders ( loose ones too), blush, eye palettes/complete face palettes/single shadows, mascaras, eye liners/ gel liners/pen liners, brow products, lashes,
and setting sprays.
I am still trying to decide how I want my makeup nook to look and how I will organize all of my makeup items now that I have another shelf unit that I can utilize I was thinking of getting rid of the huge baker’s rack that takes up a good amount of real-estate in our room. We will have to see how the resign goes tomorrow. Of course I will post pictures once it’s done.

Well that’s all for now dolls. I hope you enjoy the rest of your day/night and that you are in good spirits and good health.
Remember dolls…. Always save a spoon for a bit of lipstick.
XOXO
