Hey doll hey! How’s your day/night going? Great I hope. I didn’t sleep well last night, I went to sleep around 5 AM and then was awoken to blinding white hot pain in both of my legs and a really bad charlie horse in my right calf muscle. It’s also raining here in Florida so my body is attacking me right now with pain. This is the reason I haven’t done a Face of the Day post today, and as for yesterday we spent most of the day rearranging the bedroom (see my last post for my new makeup nook set up) and then I spent the rest of the day getting all my makeup cataloged and swatched for my new blog series about all of my makeup. To cheer me up since I’m so bummed about the amount of pain I’m in hubby surprised me with extra makeup money … so I did a little shopping today…. Let’s jump into this haul and swatches shall we?
*NOTE: All swatches are done on bare skin with no primer and in 1 pass and with the flash on as I was taking pictures from my bedroom today*

bareMinerals barePro Glow Bronzer $29 for .47 fluid ounces in the shade Warmth (terracotta bronze best for medium to deep skin tones). This products bills as being a versatile liquid bronzer that provides sheer, natural-looking color that lasts up to 16 hours and having a bi-phase formula with light-reflecting mineral pearls that provides sheer, natural-looking color that flatters any skin tone.
It also says that there are 4 ways to use this product: #1. For focused bronze: Using your ring finger, dot barePro Glow Bronzer in a half-moon shape from cheekbones to brow bones. Blend in with a dense face brush of your choice. Layer for a more intense bronze glow. #2. For all-over bonze: Mix 1 pump of barePro Glow Bronzer with 1 pump of your foundation and blend with your fingers. #3. For a sun-kissed, no-makeup look: Mix 1 pump of barePro Glow Bronzer with your favorite skincare products or tinted moisturizer. and #4. For a subtle body bronzer: Mix 1 pump of BAREPRO GLOW BRONZER with your body lotion.
This bronzer comes in 2 shades Faux Tan (sun-kissed bronze best for fair to medium skin tones) and Warmth (terracotta bronze best for medium to deep skin tones).
What I noticed straight away from pumping 1 drop on the back of my hand is that this bronzer is incredibly liquidy. After blending it in I did feel that it was extremely sheer… I’m not sure that I ‘m going to like this bronzer … but I wanted to try it out because Jessica Braun from YouTube recommended it so I thought I’d give it a go.

Juvia’s Place I Am Magic Foundation $20 for 1 fluid ounce (but on sale for $14 at Ulta and on the Juvia’s Place website). It’s billed as offering a smooth application with a natural and soft matte finish to give a flawless coverage with long lasting all day wear. It comes in 42 shades on the Juvia’s Place website (half of the shades are for deeper skin and the other half are for mid to fair skin tones) and is offered in 35 shades at Ulta with half the shade beign for deeper skin and the other half for mid to fair skin tones. I am in the shade 650 Alexandria (light skin with neutral undertones).
What I have learned about this foundation from swatching it is that this is a very full coverage foundation. I squeezed out about a dime sized amount to create this swatch and it covered the full back on my hand and I could have spread it further. It seemed to be a demi-matte formula.

Juvia’s Place I Am Magic Concealer $14 for .34 fluid ounces (but on sale for $8.90 at Ulta and on the Juvia’s Place website for $11) and is billed as being full coverage and bendable with just one application adn that it evens and blurs out skin imperfections. Infused with Amino Acid treated pigments, to help increase intensity of color without a heavy after feel. It comes in 24 shades on both the Ulta website and the Juvia’s Place website… half of which are for deeper skin and the other half for mid to fair tones.
From swatching this concealer I can tell you it’s very full coverage…. a little goes a long LONG way… this is a very pigmented concealer…. and it is a satin/matte hybrid.

Juvia’s Place Shade Stick Foundation $16 for .34 ounces (on sale at Ulta for $11.20 and Juvia’s Place website for $12) and is billed as a full coverage natural, multipurpose long lasting foundation stick that is full coverage and a weightless multipurpose formula that glides on seamlessly to cover imperfections, while giving full definition to face. It comes in 30 shades (10 for deeper skin, 10 for mid tone skin, and 10 for fair to light skin). I chose the shade Guinea (for dark skin with neutral cool undertones). I chose this shade because I thought it would make a great cream bronzer.
What I have learned from this swatch is that this is a drier formula that is still creamy, it’s just not OVERLY CREAMY and it blends out with the fingers wonderfully.

Juvia’s Place The Tribe Highlighter Vol. 3 $12 for .31 ounces of product (on sale at Ulta for $8.40) and is billed as a beautiful bronzed shade that creates effortless luminosity. Highly pigmented mix of beautiful champagne pearls perfect for light skin tones.
From my swatch I noticed there is no bronze to this highlighter… it’s just a champagne highlighter with a white shift, but with that said it’s stunning! there is no glitter in this highlighter at all … I did notice when trying to remove the swatch that this sucker is either water proof or it’s just so pigmented that it’s a hard to remove product. Either way I’m excited to see how this looks on the face.

Juvia’s Place The Warrior III Palette $20 for .63 ounces of product (on sale for $14 at Ulta but currently sold out … you can still find this palette on the Juvia’s Place website for $20 (on sale right now for $12). This palette was inspired by the tenacity, courage and strength of female leaders around the world. It has 7 mattes and 2 metallics.
The shades are:
Maasia (a vibrant grass green matte), Nzinga (a vibrant true canary yellow matte), Kahina (a berry pink matte), Jarawa (a coral matte), Candace (a vibrant true purple matte), Fanti (a bright blue toned bubblegum pink matte), Kongo (a light sea blue metallic), Karama (a steel blue metallic), and Gola (a vibrant sky blue matte).
The mattes are hard pressed but finely milled and there was very little fallout whilst swatching them. The metallics are on the drier side of a metallic formula but were very pigmented and very creamy when swatched.

Juvia’s Place The Nubian II Eyeshadow Palette $20 for 1.58 ounces of product (on sale for $14 at Ulta and $14 on the Juvia’s Place website). This palette was inspired by Nefertiti, a beauty icon known for her outstanding beauty, strength and spirituality. There are 4 metallic shades, 4 shimmer shades, and 4 matte shades.
The shades are: Morocco (dark orange matte), Madagascar (beige matte), Sheba (fawn metallic), Yaa (auburn metallic), Jezebel (maroon matte), Zuri (ivory shimmer), Cleopatra (royal blue shimmer), Nefertiti (18k gold shimmer), Nairobi (yellow gold metallic), Leyla (royal eggplant shimmer), Kenya (chocolate brown matte) and Egypt (royal green metallic).
The mattes are hard pressed but finely milled and there was very little fallout whilst swatching them. The metallics are on the drier side of a metallic formula but were very pigmented and very creamy when swatched. The shimmer shades are so buttery and so smooth and they preform as if they were metallics, they are super shinny and bright.
Well dolls…. that’s all for now. I hope you enjoy the rest of your day/night and that you are in good spirits and health.
Remember dolls… Save a spoon for a bit of lipstick.
XOXO
