Hey doll hey! How’s your day/night going? Great I hope.
I’m back with Vol. 5 of my Makeup Collection Series … the rest of the series can be found:
Vol. 4 The Helpers (Correctors, Mixers, and Contour)
Today we’re diving into my bronzer collection … Let’s do this…
The Powder Bronzers

Tarte Amazonian Clay Matte Waterproof Bronzer $30 for .32 ounces of product at Ulta and comes in 2 shades Park Ave Princess (light to medium skin tones) and Hotel Heiress (medium to deep skin tones) I have it in the shade Park Ave Princess (also note the bronzer you see here was their limited edition larger compact).
This product is billed as a universally flattering and can be used to add warmth, sculpt, or give skin an all-over radiant glow that is ultrablendable, pigmented, and never patchy (even after hours of wear) bronzer leaves skin hydrated, balanced and radiant with an Amazonian clay-infused formula.
This is my newest acquisition to my collection in terms of powder bronzer. I had been eyeballing this one for a few years but just never pulled the trigger on purchasing it.
I finally picked it up because it had been offered in the limited edition larger pan. I’m so glad that I did finally buy it!
It’s pretty, is not too orange based and has this amazing glow to it that just adds that extra something to the skin that isn’t quite visible .. it’s one of those things you just can’t put your finger on … shhh the secret is the glow to this product.

BH Cosmetics Brilliance Bronzer $10 on their website and comes in 3 shades: Golden Gal (light skin tone), Bronze Babe (medium skin tone), and Coco Cutie (deep skin) and I have it in the shade Bronze Babe.
This one is billed as a silky, blendable formula that offers lightweight, buildable coverage with a satin finish that gives a lit-from-within glow all year long.
While I do like this bronzer I don’t reach for it as much because it does have some micro glitter in it and I just don’t like glitter on the face as much. However with that being said it’s a pretty bronzer that pulls very warm and not at all orange based…. it gives a more slightly sun burned bronze to the skin.

NYX Matte Bronzer $10 for .33 ounces of product at Ulta and comes in 3 shades … Light, Medium, and Deep. I have it in the shade Deep.
This one is billed as being perfect for that desired honey glow all year long while bringing definition to your facial features and enhancing bone structure for a refined, natural glow.
I originally had this is the medium shade but purchased the deeper shade because I prefer a deeper bronze rather than a more subtle bronze.
I really enjoy this bronzer … it’s the perfect undertone and lasts all day and never goes on patchy.

Benefit Hoola Matte Bronzer $30 for .28 ounces of product at Ulta and Sephora and it comes in 4 shades: Lite (light), Original (medium), Caramel (medium deep), and Toasted (deep) and I have it in Original… also this is a mini (which runs around $17).
This one is billed as being perfect for getting a natural-looking tan all year long.
I only have it in a mini because I also have it in a face trio so I didn’t want to purchase the full sized until I’ve used it up in both the mini (which was a gift) and the face trio … once I’ve used it up in the trio I will be purchasing the shade Caramel.
This is one of those hyped up products that actually surpasses the hype.
It’s got the perfect tone and gives you a natural looking tan to the skin.

ColourPop Pressed Powder Bronzer $8 for .25 ounces of product on their website: Part of the Coconut Collection and comes in 2 shades Coconut Beach (neutral golden bronze) and Talk to the Palm (neutral warm bronze) and I have it in the Talk to the Palm shade. There are also 4 other shades in their single pans.
This one is billed as having a formula that contains super velvety-soft powders which provide a natural tanned glow. it also contains spherical light-diffusing powders which roll over the skin and allow for even application, smooth blending, and prevents a dry or “cakey” look.
Like the Tarte Amazonian Clay Matte Waterproof Bronzer this one also gives that “Can’t place my finger on it” glow to the skin but much more subtlety.
This is another one that just has that perfect tone to it.

MAC Bronzing Powder $30 for .35 ounces of product on the MAC website and in MAC stores and comes in 4 shades : Bronze, Golden, Matte, and Refined Gold and I have it in the shade Matte.
This one is billed as a powder that gives skin sheer, natural color.
This is my most subtle bronzer ever. I typically have to build this one up 3 or 4 times to get strong color payoff, however I enjoy that it’s sheer… I can never over do it with this one and it lasts all day.

Malibu Glitz Face Powder in Toasted was $1 on the Shop Miss A website but is no longer sold.
This one is a face powder in a deeper shade than mine and is subtle and has a sheen to it.
I purchased it for my full face of shop miss a products post. It’s pretty decent and I do reach for it every now and again.

Makeup Geek Bronze Luster $9.99 on their website and comes in 6 shades ranging from light to deep skin tones. I have it in the shade called SunKissed.
This one is billed as a combination of silky mineral pigments with a delicate pearl powder to wrap your skin in a radiant, healthy Bronze Luster.
This on is super glowy but has the perfect contour colored bronze. This one was discontinued do to rebranding however has since been released.
This is another one that I can’t over do it with because it’s on the sheerer side.

Rimmel London Waterproof Natural Bronzer $3.99 for .49 ounces of product sold at Target in 2 shade Sunlight (deeper bronze) and Sun Shine (medium bronze) and I have it in the shade Sun Shine. It is sold in 2 deeper shades at other stores.
This one is billed as Natural bronzer with minerals for a sun kissed glow.
This is a pretty good bronzer for the price point and lasts all day

Physicians Formula Murumuru Butter Bronzer $15.99 for .38 ounces of product at Ulta and comes in 6 shades ranging from lite bronze all the way to deep bronze and I have it in the original shade just called Bronze.
This one is billed as an ultra-luxurious bronzer infused with Murumuru Butter, delivering a radiant Brazilian goddess glow that features ultra-refined pearl and soft-focus pigments that smooth skin texture, brighten skin tone and deliver a gorgeous bronze finish.
I love the smell of this bronzer!!! I mean anyone who has this bronzer does but it just reminds me of the beach.
It’s got great pigmentation and tone and a sheen.
I do have to be careful with how much I apply of this one because it can get a bit muddy on me … if I were to repurchase this one I would pick it up in the shade Brazilian Glow as that one is a bit less orange based and is more red based.

MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural Face Powder $36 for .35 ounces of product at Ulta and is sold in 14 shades however only 1 of those shades is a bronzer …. that is the famous Give Me Sun (a light summer peach tan).
This one is billed as a luxurious, slow-baked domed face powder with low-level pearlized pigments that provide a dimensional yet natural-satin finish.
I purchased this one because awhile ago I saw a video that Jaclyn Hill did where she used this one and it just looked so pretty I just had to have it.
It’s a tad orange based but in a way that works against my skin tone but it gives the prettiest lilt to the skin.

J Cat Beauty Golden Soleil Baked Bronzer $7.99 for .53 ounces of product at Ulta and comes in 4 shades: Coconut Island, Cyprus Clay, Cancun Golden Tan, and Bora Bora Beach and I have it in the shade Cancun Golden Tan.
This one is billed as being able to wake up the skin and provides flawless, natural color with a radiant, healthy glow. Infused with radiance-boosting minerals, these baked pigments sweep on weightless for natural-looking color with fine pigments are carefully blended and slowly cooked to achieve a unique, airy texture that effortlessly blends. Golden Soleil Baked Bronzer can be used wet or dry for light to heavy application of color.
This was the bronzer that sparked my love for bronzers with a sheen. This one is super glowy with there not being any glitter what so ever.

Milani Baked Bronzer $8.99 for .25 ounces of product at Ulta and comes in 3 shades: Dolce, Soleil, and Glow and I have it in the shade Dolce.
This one is billed as being crafted on Italian terracotta tiles for a warm, beautiful glow with a delicate shimmer finish.
This bronzer reminds me of their Luminoso blush in that it has that same type of satin glow to the product.
This bronzer is super pretty for any occasion.

Pixi Beauty Bronzer $18 for .36 ounces of product on their website at Target and also sold on Amazon and comes in 2 shades : a lighter shade called Subtly Sun Touched and a deeper shade called Summertime … I own Summertime (it also came with a kabuki brush …which sucked so I threw it away).
This one is billed as a silky, perfectly-pigmented bronzer that perks up skin tone while looking natural.
It’s a highly shimmery bronzer that has no glitter and has a wonderful slightly sunburned undertone to it.
On days that I wear this one I wear absolutely no highlighter because that would be way too much with this bronzer …. in fact on days that I wear this bronzer I also pair it with a matte foundation for the same reasons.

Makeup Bronzer Reloaded $7 for .53 ounces of product at Ulta and their website and comes in 3 shades : Long Weekend, Romantic Holiday, and Take a Vacation (only offered in 1 shade at Ulta) and I have the shade Take a Vacation.
It’s billed as a pearlized powder will enhance dark skin tones with a sun kissed appearance.
I’ve already reviewed this one so I wont go too far into it …. I’ll just say this is a super gorgeous bronzer!

Flower Beauty Heatwave Luminous Bronzer $9 on their website and comes in 2 shades: Sun Rise (lighter) and Sun Swept (darker) and I have Sun Swept.
This one is billed as blending effortlessly for a warm, luminous look with matte and shimmering powders swirled together for a lit-from-within ambient glow.
This one has the perfect shine! It’s a glow to the skin and not shimmer and it just seems to melt into the skin so perfectly.
The Cream Bronzers:

Tart SEA Breezy Cream Bronzer $29 for .56 ounces of product at Sephora and comes in 2 shades: Seychelles (light) and Grace Bay (deep) and I have it in the shade Grace Bay.
This one is billed as a vegan, waterproof, buildable cream bronzer that applies as a cream and dries down to a natural-looking, matte finish and applies effortlessly for the perfect just-back-from-the-beach glow.
For the longest time the only cream bronzer I ever used was the one from Chanel … I had tried other cream bronzers and never liked them, until this little baby came into my life!
The SEA Breezy Bronzer blew the Chanel bronzer out of the water for me! I had to force myself to put it away because I couldn’t stop using it.
It’s tone and texture are just pure heaven, the longevity is impeccable and the ease with which it applies is unparalleled.
If I could recommend 1 bronzer to you from my full collection … this would be the one I would! It’s very user friendly, perfect for all skin tones, and doesn’t disrupt the products underneath. It’s also a good product for even oily skin.

Chanel Soleil Tan de Chanel (discontinued and replaced with Healthy Glow Bronzing Cream ) in the shade BRONZE UNIVERSEL.
This one is billed as a lightweight cream-gel face bronzer with a velvet-matte finish that enhances skin with a sun-kissed glow.
While I haven’t tried the 2.0 version of this product, I can imagine that it’s probably the same (as I have read many blog posts on the newer formula and the general consensus is that it’s pretty much the same just an update version).
I really love the original it’s creamy yet velvety all at the same time. The warmth of the tone of this one is sublime and it just looks perfected on the skin …. however, unlike the Tarte SEA Breezy Bronzer, it can disrupt the products underneath so I always recommend applying a little at a time with a small synthetic face brush and blending it in with a damp beauty sponge.

NYX Wonder Stick $12 for .28 ounces of product at Ulta and comes in 4 shades : Light, Medium, Deep, and Universal and I have it in the shade Medium. (On the NYX website there are 2 more deeper skin tone shade available)
This one is billed as a dual-ended highlighter and contouring stick. With its creamy finish, the Wonder Stick conceals, highlights and contours with ease for a naturally sculpted look.
When I first swatched this contour stick I knew there was no way this would work as a contour for me so I’ve been using it as a cream bronzer instead…. and I have purchased the deep shade to try it as a contour (currently in the mail).
It’s a great bronzer for when you don’t want full coverage bronzer but don’t want a subtle wash a bronze either. This one falls somewhere square in the middle and is pretty good for natural makeup days.

bareMinerals barePro Glow Bronzer $29 for .47 fluid ounces of product at Ulta and at Ulta comes in 2 shades: Faux Tan (sun-kissed bronze best for fair to medium skin tones) and Warmth (terracotta bronze best for medium to deep skin tones) and I have it in the shade Warmth.
This one is billed as a versatile liquid bronzer that provides sheer, natural-looking color that lasts up to 16 hours. A clean, bi-phase formula with light-reflecting mineral pearls provides sheer, natural-looking color that flatters any skin tone.
I haven’t tried this one yet. I was going to use it this week for the first time however I am still having a Fibro flare and haven’t been out of bed in 3 days so I will have to give it a go once I’m feeling better.
What I do know is that this one is super liquidity and super sheer. Now I did look it up on YouTube and that swatch video this product has a bit more body to it and is a bit more opaque than that I have.. so I am wondering if I need to shake it up a bit longer to get it mixed up or not…. I’ll have to update you when I’m able to play around with it a bit.

Juvia’s Place Shade Stick Foundation $16 for .34 ounces at Ulta and comes in in 30 shades (10 for deeper skin, 10 for mid tone skin, and 10 for fair to light skin) and I have it in the shade Guinea (for dark skin with neutral cool undertones).
This one is billed as a full coverage natural, multipurpose long lasting foundation stick that is full coverage and a weightless multipurpose formula that glides on seamlessly to cover imperfections, while giving full definition to face
I know technically this is a foundation, however I did purchase a deeper shade so that I can use it as a cream bronzer.
I already reviewed this one in one of my last Face of the Day posts so I won’t bore you, I’ll just simply say I really do like this one and that I’m happy it’s part of my collection.
Well, that’s all for now dolls. Thanks for stopping by and stay tuned for the next installment in this series ….
I hope you enjoy the rest of your day/night and that you are in good spirits and health.
Remember dolls …. Save a spoon for a bit of lipstick.
XOXO
I love Tarte in Park Ave Princess! I’ve been using that one the longest.
