Hey doll hey! How’s your day/night going? Great I hope.
I’m back with Vol. 6 of my Makeup Collection Series … the rest of the series can be found:
Vol. 4 The Helpers (CORRECTORS, MIXERS, AND CONTOUR)
Today we’re diving into my blush collection … Let’s do this…
The Cream Blushes: (I’ve only recently started wearing cream blushes)

ColourPop Super Shock Blush $8 for .15 ounces of product at Ulta (8 shade available) and on the ColourPop website (13 shades available). I have it in the shade Birthday Suite (neutral pink satin).
This is billed as a long-wearing crème powder cheek formula with a unique texture that is extremely buildable and blends smoothly to leave the cheeks looking healthy.
I love this color so much it’s that perfect cheeks just pinched color that goes great with almost any eye look.
The formula was a little odd to get use to at first… it’s like a bouncy putty that quickly goes from cream to powder on the cheeks. There was a learning curve with this one since it turned into a powder so fast that at first I was going streaky and it was pulling up patches of foundation … then I got the hang of it and realized that I had to use either a beauty sponge or a dual fiber brush.

ColourPop Super Shock Blush $8 for .15 ounces of product at Ulta (8 shade available) and on the ColourPop website (13 shades available). I have it in the shade Quaters (a pinky coral satin).
I love this color so much that I actually hit pan in less than a month.

Tarte Sugar Rush – Beach Cheeks Cream Blush $12 fir .15 ounces of product at Ulta and it comes in 2 shades: Ocean Girl (rosy pink) and Beaches & Cream (peachy pink) and I have it in the shade Beaches & Cream.
This one is billed as a gorgeous, natural flush that is universally-flattering.
Out of all the blushes I own this has quickly become my favorite. It’s super creamy without being greasy. It goes on smooth and not too pigmented …. this one is a light pigment easy to build blush that doesn’t disrupt the products underneath.

J Cat Beauty Blush-Mallow Soft Blusher $4.99 at Ulta in the shade Tutti Fluffy (a vibrant coral pink matte).
This one is billed as a lightweight, silky formula that effortlessly gives you a smooth, flawless glow. It instantly warms and brightens your complexion with just one stroke. Available in 16 shades that mimic the natural ”flushed” look of naturally radiant cheeks.
This one has that same texture that the ColourPop Super Shock Blushes have.
I love the flush of color I can get from this blush. It’s vibrant enough to be fun for the summer and muted enough that I can still wear it in the fall.
I keep meaning to pick up a few other shades … they are on my wish list for sure.
The Powder Blushes:

ColourPop Pressed Powder Blush $12 on their website: This is the shade Matchmaker (pale nude with gold pearl) from the Mulan Collection. (it’s currently out of stock so I didn’t include a permalink for it).
This one is billed as a rich blush that glides on smoothly and leaves cheeks with a natural and healthy flush and a formula that contains silky powders that adhere to the skin, providing long wear and color that stays true all day and as a soft-feeling blush that blends evenly and can be layered to your desired intensity.
I have to admit when I first received my Mulan purchase in the mail I was super underwhelmed by the color. I thought this was going to just be very subtle and show up more as a bronzer but after applying it to a full face of makeup I have grown to love it. I even love that it’s a shimmery blush.
Every time I where this shade I feel like a bronzed Goddess. It’s a great blush to pair with a deep neutral toned smokey eye.

ColourPop Pressed Powder Blush $12 on their website: This is the shade Good Luck Charm (soft terracotta with gold pearl) from the Mulan Collection.
I’ve never thought of terracotta as a blush shade before I purchased this one and now …. I truly love the way this color looks!!! I typically gravitate toward more coral shades than I would a color in the orange and brown family of color.
This blush is a stunning sublimely understated color.

ColourPop Pressed Powder Blush $8 on their website (current sold out) in the shade Coast to Coast (soft mauve matte) and is part of their Mauves Collection.
This one is billed the same as the Mulan blushes are … most of their pressed powder blushes are …
I like this color, it’s very muted and is a barely there flush of color.

ColourPop Pressed Powder Blush $8 on their website (current sold out) in the shade Catch My Vibe (pale baby pink matte) and is part of their Mauves Collection.
This one is billed the same as the Mulan blushes are … most of their pressed powder blushes are …
I typically do not like baby pink blushes …. typically if they are blue toned baby pinks like Catch My Vibe is…. but some how this blush is a flattering fresh from the cold sort of baby pink that I couldn’t get enough of when I first received my purchase in the mail.

Revolution Blusher Reloaded $7 for .26 ounces of product at Ulta and comes in 7 shades. I have it in the shade Rhubarb & Custard (a coral pink flush).
This one is billed as a pressed sheer velvet powder blusher.
Hands down this is my favorite color of blush ever! It’s the right balance of pink and coral and just is flattering with almost any eye look you can come up with.

Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-HR Limited Edition Blush $29 for .2 ounces of product at Ulta and in the shade Birthday Bae (a muted coral toned peach matte).
This one is billed as a super soft, silky powder helps prevent harsh lines or chalky build-up and Amazonian clay that helps control oil & infuses moisture for balanced skin & seamless blending.
These Tarte Amazonian Clay blushes are hands down my favorite formula … I have several colors and have several colors still on my wish list to buy.
I do like this Birthday Bae but find that I had hard pan after only 2 uses so I have to run a disposable mascara wand over it anytime I want to use it.

Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-HR Blush $29 for .2 ounces of product and comes in 13 shades on the Tarte website (is also sold at Ulta and Sephroa). This is the shade Blissful (bright rose matte).
This one is billed as a super soft, silky powder blush that glides on smoothly and delivers a healthy, youthful, fresh flush of color that blends seamlessly with no harsh lines or clown cheeks and gives an instant airbrushed look that lasts for 12 hours.
Blissful was the first Tarte blush I ever purchased and I fell instantly in love, so much so that I ended up purchasing the other 4 shades I have that same weekend.
Blissful is bright but it’s a a gaudy bright it’s a very wearable and soft focus type of bright.

Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-HR Blush $29 for .2 ounces of product and comes in 13 shades on the Tarte website (is also sold at Ulta and Sephroa). This is the shade Seduce (rosey nude matte)
This one is billed as a super soft, silky powder blush that glides on smoothly and delivers a healthy, youthful, fresh flush of color that blends seamlessly with no harsh lines or clown cheeks and gives an instant airbrushed look that lasts for 12 hours.
I reach for Seduce anytime I am stuck for what shade to chose for a look. It’s that quintessential nude rose that works for any occasion.

Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-HR Blush $29 for .2 ounces of product and comes in 13 shades on the Tarte website (is also sold at Ulta and Sephroa). This is the shade Captivating (bright peach matte)
This one is billed as a super soft, silky powder blush that glides on smoothly and delivers a healthy, youthful, fresh flush of color that blends seamlessly with no harsh lines or clown cheeks and gives an instant airbrushed look that lasts for 12 hours.
There was a month that I wore nothing but the shade Captivating. It’s the perfect peach blush… the absolutely PERFECT peach blush!

Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-HR Blush $29 for .2 ounces of product and comes in 13 shades on the Tarte website (is also sold at Ulta and Sephroa). This is the shade Blushing Bride (rosey pink matte)
This one is billed as a super soft, silky powder blush that glides on smoothly and delivers a healthy, youthful, fresh flush of color that blends seamlessly with no harsh lines or clown cheeks and gives an instant airbrushed look that lasts for 12 hours.
I actually purchased Blushing Bride just because I liked the shade of the compact. I never thought I would fall as hard as I did for this shade though. It’s a rose pink but has the slightest hint of purple in the undertone making it a great companion to any purple based eye look.

Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-HR Blush $29 for .2 ounces of product and comes in 13 shades on the Tarte website (is also sold at Ulta and Sephroa). This is the shade Natural Beauty (rosey red matte)
This one is billed as a super soft, silky powder blush that glides on smoothly and delivers a healthy, youthful, fresh flush of color that blends seamlessly with no harsh lines or clown cheeks and gives an instant airbrushed look that lasts for 12 hours.
I have to admit I loved Natural Beauty from the moment I swatched it, but I had passed it over about 3 times whilst I was in the store because it’s so vibrant I thought there is no way I can pull this shade off … and then I swatched it and just new I would love this shade forever.
I wore it last year for the whole summer.

NARS Blush $30 for .16 ounces of product at Ulta and Sephora in the shade Orgasm (peachy pink with gold shimmer) *mine is a mini that I got as a gift with purchase at Ulta*
This is billed as delivering a weightless, natural-looking rush of color in matte, satin and shimmering finishes with superfine micronized powder pigments that ensure an irresistibly soft, blendable application for a naturally flushed effect with buildable pigments that allow control of color intensity for subtle to bold effects on every skin tone.
I have always wanted this shade but was afraid it would look bad on me because it’s a shimmery blush…. the glow is real in this blush and I love it!! I don’t wear any highlighter when I’m wearing it and you can’t even tell because of how glowy this one is.
There is a reason this shade is a cult classic, it’s just perfection!

NARS Blush $30 for .16 ounces of product at Ulta and Sephora in the shade Dolce Vita (dusty mauve matte).
I first tried this shade out in a now defunct beauty samples monthly box service whose name I can’t for the life of me remember…. but I fell in love with this shade even before trying it out. It was just so pretty in the sample that I had already knew I was going to purchase the full sized version!
I love this shade so much I purchased it in a NARS lip gloss too.

Milani Rose Powder Blush $9.49 for .9 ounces of product at Ulta in the shade 08 Tea Rose (a dusty rose matte).
This one is billed as richly-pigmented matte and shimmer shades that contour and highlight all skin tones with a soft, natural-finish with buildable, fine-milled powder that seamlessly blends for many multidimensional looks.
The shade I truly wanted is called Coral Cove but every time I try to purchase it it’s out of stock so I settled for Tea Rose. I’m so glad I did… this shade goes with everything from no makeup – makeup to full on glam smokey eyed looks.
This one does have a ton of kick back in the pan and a light hand goes a long way.

Burt’s Bees Blush $9.99 on their website (I purchased mine on Amazon) in the shade Bare Peach (warm peach satin).
This one is billed as a 100% natural, mineral blush makeup that applies and blends easily and evenly to enhance your cheeks’ natural glow with a lightweight formula that brings together Bamboo, Honey and Vitamin E to nourish skin for beautifully radiant results.
I purchased this one on recommendation from my Niece/God Daughter. She was so right. This is a great everyday staple in my collection.
It has the slightest of shimmer to it that just makes your face glow from within.

The Balm Blush $21 on their website in the shade Balm Beach (warm neutral peach satin).
This one is billed as a powder blush comes in a warm-neutral tone perfect for creating a nude, sun-kissed look or balancing a bold smokey eye — plus, the satin-matte finish complements any skin type. With a flawless, fade-resistant formula, you can go from surf to turf without touch-ups.
This one is super subtle and I wear it mostly on low maintenance makeup days because it’s the perfect accent to a naked matte eye look.

The Balm Shadow/Blush $21 on their website in the shade Cabana Boy (dusty rose with a plum undertone demi-satin).
This one is billed as a dusty-rose blush and shadow featuring a subtle shimmer and plum undertones for an oh-so natural glow. Whether you’re pool-side, beach-side or bed-side, Cabana Boy is here to serve.
I don’t reach for this one a ton during the spring/summer seasons… this is more my fall/winter blush shade.
It’s super pretty paired with a berry lip.

The Blam Shadow/Blush $21 on their website in the shade Frat Boy (rosey coral satin).
This one is billed as a flawless flush of talc-free, finely graded powder that makes it easy to score a natural rosy glow that’s pledge perfect.
I love this shade so stink’n much!!! It’s the perfect coral shade for the summer with that subtle lilt to it.

L’Oreal True Match Blush $10.95 for .21 ounces of product at various stores – I got mine at Target for $7.99 (permalink is to the L’Oreal website) in the shade Barely Blushing (a warm peach satin).
This one is billed as flawlessly complementing your skin’s tone and texture. Coordinates perfectly with True Match Makeup, Powder, and Concealer. True-to-life shades precisely match your skin tone and undertone, leaving you with the most natural flush of color imaginable and is available in 12 natural true-to-you shades.
I purchased this one to do my L’Oreal Full Face Product Review and remembered that I did like the color but not the formula… it’s meant to be a satin blush but it has glitter in it … not the micro glitters of most satin formulas … this is big visible glitter.
I love the shade on me but the glitter turns me off so I don’t reach for this one as much as I do other blushes.

ELF Primer Infused Blush $6 for .35 ounces of product at Ulta (they have 4 pretty shades but the shade I have it in I actually got from the ELF website ) I have it in the shade Always Punchy (a peachy pink matte).
This one is billed as a long-wear, matte blush is infused with lock on primer powder to ensure a full day of perfectly placed blush. This blush is easy to blend, perfectly pigmented for ease of application, and grips your cheeks like second skin.
This is such a pretty flush of color. I keep meaning to pick up a few more shades but every time I place an order for ELF products I forget to snag another one.

AOA Studio Perfect Blush $1 on the Shop Miss A website in the shade Wispy (coral satin).
This one is billed as a fine, smooth, pigmented powder blush that glides on so naturally! The color is buildable from super natural to super bold and comes in 12 shades.
I purchased this one for my Full Face of Shop Miss A .
This one is such a pretty shade of coral and it’s super tiny … great for travel.

MAC Powder Blush $25 for .21 ounces of product this shade is only at MAC and on the MAC website. (MAC Powder Blush in certain shades is also sold at Ulta). The shade is Pinch O’ Peach (a peachy pink matte).
This one is billed as a blush that provides fantastic color with ease and consistency.
This blush has survived every declutter I have done for the past 5 years. Yes … I know it’s old but it’s still in good condition, there’s no hard pan, still has a fresh powdery scent, and I have never had any adverse reactions to this blush so I will continue to use it.
It’s that quintessential just pinched cheeks color that goes with everything from a smokey eye to no eye makeup at all.

NYX Sweet Cheeks Matte Creamy Powder Blush $7.50 for .17 ounces of product at Ulta. It comes in 12 shades and the one I have is in the shade Summer Breeze (a true coral matte).
This one is billed as a super-smooth formula that delivers beautifully pigmented color with a true matte finish. Available in both traditional tones (pinks, corals and berries) and artistry-inspired shades of purple and yellow, each silky powder blends with ease. Add this high pigmented, super-smooth blush to your makeup kit for a glowy, flawlessly flushed look.
I am in love with this shade. I can not resist a good coral blush and this one is super easy to work with.
Blush Palettes:

Milani Rose Blush Trio Palette $12.99 for .42 ounces of product at Ulta and comes in 2 color ways … the one I have is in the Floral Fantasy color way (the coral shades).
This one is billed as three color coordinated, pigment rich shades to wear alone to amplify and define cheekbones. Palette features fine-milled, matte and shimmer finishes for a perfect flush of color.
I picked this one up because I wanted to explore the rose line a bit more but didn’t want to purchase another full sized shade until Coral Cove became available … so i chose the coral mini trio and I’m so glad I did.
I love this little palette so much and it’s easy to travel with.

Private Society Secret Admirer Blush Palette $42 for 8 full sized blush pans on their website.
This one is billed as platinum primer infused powders. Eight silky smooth shades, sure to make you blush, including two AMPs for that sunkissed glow.
The shades in this palette are : First Kiss is a metallic coral with a silver reflect. Day Dreaming is a peachy coral satin. Rose Petals is a blue based rose pink matte. Pinky Swear is a blue based pink matte. Infatuation is a copper metallic with no reflect. Bashful is a peachy coral matte. Sweet Romance is a orange based bronze coral matte. Coral Crush is a bright true coral matte.
I purchased this one thinking it had highlighter in it as well (thinking it was a full face palette) back when I did my Private Society Cosmetics Review and I don’t reach for it much … It’s a good palette but I tend to reach for my single blushes over my palette blushes … I may have to keep this one at my vanity to force myself to use it more because the shades are so pretty and the blushes perform well.
Well …. that’s all for now dolls… I hope you enjoy the rest of your day/night and that you are in good spirits and health.
Remember dolls… Save a spoon for a bit of lipstick.
XOXO
I love seeing other people’s collections, you have some great blushes!

Tarte Amazonian Clay in “Natural Beauty” has been a favorite of mine for a couple of years. I also have “Dollface” but it’s too pink for my skin which has slightly warm undertones. I like The Balm “Hot Mama” and some of the Juvia’s Place blushes a little better because they are more highly pigmented and blush tends to fade on me, but Natural Beauty is such a pretty color.
