Vol. 9 The Eyeshadow Palettes Part 1
Today we’re diving into the 2nd 1/2 of my Eyeshadow Palettes collection … I wil not be blogging about what the palettes are billed as because I have a heap of palettes to get through and not all of my palettes are available still so I have no way of knowing what they were marketed as. Any way without further ado let’s do this…



BH Cosmetics Love in London Palette $16 on their website.
This is the first palette I’ve tried from BH Cosmetics and I have to say the quality is exquisite! The mattes and metallics are both buttery and highly pigments.



ColourPop Palette I created myself : Each shadow was $2 and the palette was free.
The colors are: Liar Liar, Ringer, 20 Something, Bel Air, Sea Stars, Lay Low, Top Notch, Earthshine, Manifest It, Latch Key, Pretty Cruel, and Sleeper.
It’s my goal to collect all the singles shades because this formula is to die for.



ColourPop Palette I created myself : Each shadow was $2 and the palette was free.
The colors are: Hear Me Out, Issues, Party Favors. Over It, Bel Air (I loved this shade so much that I purchased a back up of it), Wake Up Call, Cut Outs, Criss Cross, Take the Lead, Feathered, Cloud Nine, and Let’s Do It.
This was the first set of singles I purchased from ColourPop.



ColourPop All That Palette $18 on their website.
This is a great red based palette! I picked this one up so I could do some Valentines day looks and absolutely fell in love with the palette.
The reds in this palette are so pigmented and blend like a dream.



The Balm Meet Matt(e) Ador *Discontinued*
I purchased mine on Bridgette’s Boutique for $30 .
One of the first The Balm shadow palettes I tried. The quality is good and the shadows are pigmented and blend out well.

Out of the 2 palettes from the Balm that I own I enjoy this one more.



Believe Beauty Eyeshadow Palette in the color story Lovestruck $5 only at Dollar General Stores.
This is a great little pink color story.



Believe Beauty Eyeshadow Palette in the color story Nearly Nude $5 only at Dollar General Stores.
This was the first palette of theirs I tried and now I low key want them all! I can not believe the quality of these shadows!
It’s just a basic nudes palette but it’s great to travel with and a great everyday makeup drawer palette.



Private Society Girl Boss Palette $36 on their website.
the shade are :
six mattes are First Class (a true white), CEO (a light terra cotta), Brunch (a true terra cotta), Jetsetter (a coral based red), Money maker (an orange based mid toned brown), and Friyay (a deep grey toned brown).
six metallic shades are … Instafamous (a rose gold with pink reflect), Status Symbol ( a amber with silver reflect), Iconic ( a copper with no reflect), Socialite (a pale champagne satin), Hundo (a bright gold with rose reflect), and VIP (a dark brown with copper reflect).
It’s a really nice palette but I don’t reach for it much these days.



NYX Warm Neutrals Ultimate Shadow Palette $18 for .46 ounces of product.
This is a compact palette that’s great to travel with. It’s a great neutral staple to have in my collection and has mattes and shimmers so I can get a complete eye look all in one place.



Milani Most Loved Mattes $19.99 on their website but I purchased mine on Amazon.
This is a basic shadow palette with a range of neutrals that is great for everyday.
It’s not my favorite but it’s still a good palette.



ELF The New Classics $14 on their website.
This is the only ELF eyeshadow palette I have kept over the years. It’s a great staple palette to have …. perfect for beginners and a great one to have for travel.



Too Faced Peanut Butter and Jelly Palette *Discontinued*
This palette was a gift from a friend for Christmas one year. I love it so much. Particularly the shades Peanut Butter, Peanut Brittle, and Nuts About You.
I reach for this one a ton but never as a stand alone palette.



Juvia’s Place The Nudes Palette $14 at Ulta.
The shades do not have any names but the shades are:
A PEACHY CHAMPAGNE WITH SILVER FLIP- METALLIC, A LIGHT BEIGE- MATTE PRESSED PIGMENT, A CHAMPAGNE WITH GOLD FLIP- METALLIC, A LIGHT ROSE- MATTE, A PINK CHAMPAGNE- METALLIC, AND A RICH TERRACOTTA BROWN- MATTE.
You can get an externally beautiful ethereal look with this palette by itself or pair it with the chocolates palette for an all in one smokey eye look.



Juvia’s Place The Chocolates Palette $14 at Ulta
The shades do not have any names but the shades are:
a deep chocolate brown – matte, warm brown with a brown and silver shimmer – metallic, a grey-toned brown – matte, rich warm red – matte, mustard yellow – matte, and cool brown – metallic.
The colors in this palette are so rich and pigmented. I’ve gotten some super pretty smokey looks with it.



Juvia’s Place The Nubian 3 Coral $20 for .63 ounces of product at Ulta.
The shades do not have any names but the shades are:
a light toned silver metallic, a deep slate grey matte, a slate grey metallic, a mid-toned copper metallic….a mid-toned deep reddish terracotta metallic, a warm toned deep brown matte, deep brown with a slight green shift metallic, dusty coral tan matte….cool toned coral matte/satin hybrid, dusty light grey matte, peachy coral metallic with a slight gold flip metallic, and finally a deep-toned peachy coral matte.
Oh I am in love with this palette!!! I could wear looks from this palette everyday and not tire of it.



Juvia’s Place The Nubian Palette $20 for .63 ounces of product at Ulta
The shades do not have any names but the shades are:
iridescent pink metallic, tan matte, nude brown matte, champagne metallic, light gold with pink undertones metallic, light gold metallic, antiqued coppery gold metallic, bronzed gold metallic, dark auburn metallic, mid-toned brown matte, dark brown metallic, and a ebony brown matte.
There is something magical about Juvia’s Place eyeshadow formula! These shades are pretty on every skin tone.



Juvia’s Place The Warrior Palette $20 on their website.
This palette is a gold lovers dream! The metallics are so buttery and so pigmented this is a high impact palette.



Juvia’s Place The Warrior II Palette $20 for .63 ounces of product at Ulta.
This is a very versatile all matte palette and a great companion palette for any of the other Juvia’s Place palettes.




Tati Beauty Textured Neutrals Vol 1 Palette $48 on their website.
This was gift from my hubby. This is a sublime palette! It’s also the palette that made me fall in love with glitter.
You get 4 finishes of eyeshadow in one palette: matte, metallic, sequin, and glitter …. all in the same shades.
The possibilities are endless with this palette.
I’ve hit pan on 2 of my favorite shades Smooth Matte and Aura Matte.




ColourPop Bare Necessities Palette $34 on their website.
As you can tell from the pictures of this palette … this is a well loved palette.
It’s all the neutrals I will ever really need and great gift to give to someone just starting out with makeup … or for a person who loves neutrals.
I reach for this one heaps on a weekly basis even when I’m using other palettes I tend to reach for 1 or 2 shades from this palette too.




BH Cosmetics Ultimate Matte 42 Color Shadow Palette $28 on their website.
This palette has a nice spread of shades all in one place.


Juvia’s Place The Nubian II Palette $20 for 1.58 ounces of product at Ulta.
This is such a fun partner palette for the Nubian… such rich jewel tone shades.


Juvia’s Place The Warrior III Palette $20 for.63 ounces of product at Ulta.
I can’t wait to finally get to play with this palette… And it’s the first time I own a palette with an actual true green shadow in it. These shades are so vibrant!




Imagic Profession Cosmetics EY-322 Palette $14 on their website.
this is a new palette that I just received in the mail for free for review by Imagic Cosmetics.
The shades are:
Slow (vanilla metallic), Flip (vanilla matte), Steam (muted brown matte), Noir (dusty black matte), Glamour (tan matte), Diva (copper metallic), Splash (moss green satin), Trance (light blue satin), Sultry (rose gold metallic), Culture (dusty red matte), Awesome (navy blue satin), Curtain (iridescent satin with a green/purple flip),Cross (chocolate metallic), Nolly (burnt orange matte), Stylin’ (vibrant fuschia metallic), and Mud (deep burgundy matte).
I think it’s a good palette I’ll just have to play with it before I give my final thoughts on it.
