Hey doll hey! How’s your day/night going? Great I hope. I woke up a bit late again today … I think it has something to do with the new meds I’m on. I got up around 10:30 Am today. It’s raining here in Florida (it’s our rainy season) and so I hurt pretty bad today.
I wanted a deep smokey eye look so this is what I came up with. Today I am wearing Marc Jacobs Daisy Twinkle perfume. Let’s jump into this Face of the Day ….

Base:
I primed my face using Catrice Cosmetics Prime and Fine Poreless Blur Primer ($7.99 at Ulta) and I primed the pore area with ELF Poreless Putty Primer ($8 at Ulta). For foundation today I chose L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Glow Foundation ($12.99 at Ulta) in the shade 202 Creamy Natural. I contoured my face using Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Contour Wand ($38 at Sephora) in the shade Medium Deep. I then warmed up the perimeter of my face using NYX Can’t Stop Won’t Stop Contour Concealer ($8.50 at Ulta) in the shade Walnut. I highlighted the high points of my face using Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Beauty Light Wand ($38 at Sephora) in the shade Spotlight. I concealed my under eyes using first a bit of Pixi by Petra Correction Concentrate ($12 on the Pixi website and at Target) in the shade Brightening Peach and then wen in with Too Faced Born This Way Multi-Use Sculpting Concealer ($29 at Ulta) in the shade Vanilla. I set my concealer using Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder ($28 at Ulta and Sephora). I set my bronzer using NYX Matte Bronzer ($10 at Ulta) in the shade Deep Tan. I set the cream highlighter using Milani Strobelight Instant Glow Powder ($9.99 at Ulta) in the shade Afterglow. I then set the rest of the face using Laura Mercier Loose Setting Powder ($39 at Ulta) in the shade translucent. I have chosen the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Skin Perfecting Micro-Powder ($45 at Sephora) in the shade Medium 2.

Eyes:
I set my brows using Maybelline Great Lash ($6.99 at Ulta) in clear and filled in my brows using Revolution Pro Define and Fill Brow Pencil ($8 at Ulta) in the shade Dark Brown. I carved out my brow line using BH Studio Pro Brow Highlighter ($5 on their website) on the matte side and then primed the rest of my lids using the P.Louise Base ($10 pound sterling/ $12.08 USD on their website… can also be found on the Morphie website for $15) in the shade Rumour 0.5. For today’s eye look I used the Juvia’s Place The Nubian 2 Palette ($20 at Ulta). I started by setting my brow line with a combo of Wet n Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Single ($.99 at Walgreens) in the shade Creme Brulee (a creamy flesh tone matte) and Sugar (icy white shimmer). I then went in with the Nubian 2 Palette and the shade Morocco (dark orange matte) for the crease to the brow line. I then went in with the shade Kenya (Chocolate Brown matte) on the entire mobile lid and the outer v of the crease. I then went in with the shade Yaa (an auburn orange metallic) for the inner 1/3 of the mobile lid. Next I chose the shade Sheba (fawn metallic) for the middle 1/3 of the mobile lid to blend the inner and outer mobile lid. For the lower lash line I did a drop shadow using more of the shade Morocco. I then went in with more of the shade Kenya closer to the lash line. I then went in with more of Yaa for the inner 1/3 of the lower lash line and then highlighted my inner corners using the shade Zuri (ivory metallic). I tight lined both my upper and lower waterlines using Charlotte Tilbury The Classic Eye Powder Pencil ($22 at Sephora) in the shade Audrey (deep ash brown). I coated my lashes with Believe Beauty High Definition Skinny Mascara ($4.50 only at Dollar General) in the shade Black. I then popped on a pair of Obsidian Cosmetics Lashes ($7.99 on their Etsy website) in the style Barbie.

Cheeks and Lips: For blush today I chose Makeup Revolution Blusher Reloaded ($7 at Ulta) in the shade Rhubarb & Custard (coral matte). I lined my lips using ColourPop Lippie Pencil (6 on their website) in the shade BFF (warm nude) and then filled in my lips using the ColourPop Lippie Stix (sold as part of the Big Box of Lippie Stix Vault- no longer available) in the shade Dream Date (pale warm nude). I finished off my look with Too Faced Born This Way Turn Up The Light Highlighting Palette ($42 at Ulta and Sephora) in the Light color way … I used the middle shade called Soft Focus as a finishing powder.

Final Thoughts:
I really enjoy this eye look but I feel like I should have added a deeper coral blush … but I wanted the eye to be the focal point of this look. I think maybe a deeper nude lip would have been better too … but I really love this nude lip combo.
It’s almost time to dye my hair again. I’ve got those grays peaking though.
I’m making meatloaf and homemade mac and cheese for dinner tonight. I don’t have much energy so I needed to do a meal that I could just pop into the oven and walk away until it is done.
Are there any looks you’d like me to try? I’m open to suggestions … just shoot me a message.
I was thinking about doing a green look … I just don’t have many green shadows so I will have to wait till next month’s beauty buys to purchase a green shadow palette.

Well that’s all for now dolls. I hope you have a great rest of your day/night and that you are in good spirits and good health.
Remember dolls …. Save a spoon for a bit of lipstick.
XOXO, Nita
