Another Go to Makeup Look for Doctor’s Appointments Face of the Day

Hey doll hey! How’s your day/night going? Great I hope. Sorry I went missing for 3 days…. wasn’t feeling too well so I needed to take a few days rest. I’m feeling much better today…although I slept through my 7 AM alarm and didn’t manage to get out of bed until 11:30 AM…. had a Doctor’s appointment today so I only just got home around 5:45 PM … I keep wanting to play around with my rainbow palette but I’ve had several Doctor appointments so I haven’t been able to play with too much color as of late… hopefully I’ll be feeling good tomorrow and then I can play with my JKissa X ELF palette some more.

Today I am wearing Juicy Couture perfume…. Let’s jump into today’s Face of the Day …..

Base:

I primed my face usingĀ Too Faced HangoveRX ($34 at Ulta) and I primed my pore areas using Tarte Clean Slate Timeless Smoothing Primer ($39 at Ulta). I then used Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter ($44 at Sephora) in the shade 3. For foundation today I chose Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation ($50 at Sephora) in the shade Beige 3. Ā I bronzed lightly using the Tarte Breezy Cream Bronzer ($29 at Sephora) in the shade Grace Bay. I highlighted the high points of my face using Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Beauty Light Wand ($38 at Sephora) in the shade Spotlight.Ā I concealed my under eyes usingĀ NYX Born to Glow Radiant Concealer ($9 at Ulta) in the shade fair. I set my under eyes using Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder ($28 at Ulta and Sephora). I set my bronzer using Makeup Revolution Bronzer Reloaded ($7 at Ulta) in the shade Take a Vacation. I set my highlight using Too Faced Born This Way Turn Up The Light Highlighting Palette ($42 at Ulta and Sephora) in the Light color wayĀ and using the shade Glow. I set the rest of the face using Too Faced Born This Way Ethereal Loose Setting Powder ($33 at Ulta) in the shade Translucent. Ā For my setting powder Iā€™ve chosen BH Studio Pro Matte Finish Pressed Powder (usually $9.50 but on sale for $4.75 on their website) in the shade 230.

Eyes:

I set my brows using Believe Beauty Eyebrow Styling Gel ($4 only at Dollar General stores) in clear and filled in my brows using NYX Micro Brow Pencil (regularly $10 but on sale for $7.50 at Ulta) in the shade Brunette. I carved out my brow line and primed my lids using the Ā P.Louise Base ($10 pound sterling/ $12.08 USD on their websiteā€¦ can also be found on the Morphie website for $15) in the shade Rumour 0.5. For todayā€™s eye look I usedĀ shades from the palettes I created from ColourPop. I started by setting my brow line using the shade Hear ME Out (white peach – matte). For my crease I used the shade Sea Stars (medium yellow brown – matte). I deepened the outer 1/3 of my mobile lid and the outer v of the crease using the shade Feathered (rich chocolate brown – matte). For the remaining 2/3 of the mobile I used the shade Party Favors (duo-chrome peach with a gold flip – metallic). I then used the shade Miser (duo-chrome terracotta with blue-green – metallic) over the middle 1/3 to blend the inner and outer parts of the mobile lid together. For the lower lash line I used more of the shade Sea Stars and then lightly deepened the lash line using more of the shade Feathered. I highlighted the inner corners using the shade Let Me Explain (ivory – metallic). I lined my lower waterlines using ColourPop BFF Creme Gel Liner ($6 on their website) in the shade Get Paid (metallic rose gold). I then coated my lashes with Charlotte Tilbury Full Fat Lashes ($29 at Sephora) in the shade Glossy Black. I then popped on a pair of Ardell Faux Mink Lash ($6.49 at Ulta) in the style #812 lashes. I highlighted the inner corners using the dazzle shade from the Too Faced Born This Way Turn Up The Light Highlighting Palette ($42 at Ulta and Sephora).

Cheeks and Lips:

For blush today I am wearingĀ Tarte Amazonian 12-HR Blush ($29 at Ulta and Sephora) in the shade Seduce (rosy nude). I lined my lips using ColourPop Lippie Pencil ($6 on their website) in the shade BFF (warm nude) and I filled in my lips with MAC Matte Lip Stick ($19 on the MAC website) in the shade Myth (light neutral nude). I finished off my look with Too Faced Born This Way Turn Up The Light Highlighting Palette ($42 at Ulta and Sephora) in the Light color way ā€¦ I used the middle shade called Soft Focus as a finishing powder.

Final Thoughts:

I’ve been super sluggish this past few days … I also was in heaps of pain so I was pretty much bed ridden for the past 3 days. It’s good to be out of bed finally.

I made a huge 24 piece purchase off the ELF website to review some new to me products for the blog. I also made a small 6 piece purchase off the Makeup Revolution website … however I made a mistake and ended up purchasing from the UK site instead of the US site so it might take a while to get to me. I also made another Beautylish skin care purchase to top off my back ups.

I really want to make a huge Sydney Grace purchase too. I want to purchase a palette that I curate myself. That might have to wait till next month because it’s a bit spendy.

It’s beginning to rain here now in Florida (it’s our rainy season) and so my pain level is really high all the sudden … so I’m going to get going and lay down for a bit … I’m happy to be back and once again I am so sorry for going MIA for the past 3 days.

Well that’s all for now dolls. I hope you enjoy the rest of your day/night and that you are in good spirits and health.

Remember dolls …. Save a spoon for a bit of lipstick.

XOXO, Nita
