Hey doll hey!!! How’s your day/night going? Great I hope. I’m feeling pretty crummy today. It’s our rainy season here in Florida so the Barometric Pressure is really wreaking havoc on my Fibromyalgia.
I just received my first beauty buy of July 2020 so I’d thought before I dive into these new items I’d give you a quick look see….
All the products of today’s haul are from Makeup Revolution (Revolution Beauty). They were meant to be here in the month of June, however I purchased them from the UK site instead of the US site so it took longer than normal to get here. It’s only a small order placed because I didn’t have much left in my Beauty Buy Budget for the month of June but I managed to spend less than what I had and that money I rolled over to the month of July.
Well … let’s take a look at what I purchased….
NOTE: All swatches are done on bare skin with no primer and in 1 pass. Also all pictures taken of the swatches are done with flash.

This concealer is available in 50 shades (18 shades for deeper skin tones) and I purchased it in the shade C3 (fair skin tones with a cool under tones). I could have gone up 1/2 a shade but I still think this shade will work out good for me.
This one is billed as being suitable for everyone looking for a lightweight finish with a boost of moisture. it claims that it covers blemishes, evens skin tone and counteracts dark circles, while drenching skin with moisture thanks to an infusion of hyaluronic acid and that it was designed for drier skin with a sheer, satin finish that won’t settle into fine lines.
What I noticed upon swatching this one is that this one is not lightweight at all and a very little of this product goes a very long way. It also doesn’t set down and remains pretty tacky so this one definitely will need to be set with powder immediately after application.

This eye shadow base comes in 4 shades (white, fair, medium and deep). I purchased 2 shades… Halo (white) and Illustrate (fair). It’s billed as a full coverage eyeshadow base with an innovative built-in brush for easy application and claims to be the shortcut you need for a defined canvas for a cut crease with glitter, foil or eyeshadow.
What I noticed about this product upon swatching it is that it’s very emollient and remains tacky to the touch. For some reason the white shade spreads further than the fair shade does. This has a similar consistence to the P.Louise Base, mind you it’s not a spot on dupe but it’s got some similarities. I don’t particularly like the applicator on this one (it’s s short fat square shaped bush applicator) but I will just put this one on the back of my hand and use it with the same synthetic brush that I use to apply the P.Louise Base.

This product comes in 3 shades: Ash Brown, Warm Brown, and Dark Brown (I repurchased it in the shade Dark Brown, this is a replacement as I just finished my last one off last month). It’s billed as an ultra fine brow pencil that creates the most convincing hair-like strokes for a natural and soft looking brow with a weighted component that sits comfortably in the hand in order to support precise application.
This is the 4th time I have repurchased this pencil. It’s my 2nd favorite pencil ever. (My first being the Benefit Precisely My Brow Pencil).
This pencil is creamy with just enough waxiness to keep you from going over board. It’s a great drug store priced pencil.

This product comes in 20 shades (7 shades for deeper skin tones). I purchased it in the shade F3 (fair skin tones with a neutral/ pink under tones). It is billed as the most hard-working, multipurpose foundation. Perfect for dry to combination skin, this Revolution Pro CC Cream Perfecting Foundation SPF30 offers sheer to full buildable coverage, whilst leaving the skin hydrated and protected with hyaluronic acid & collagen and works to diffuse the appearance of wrinkles whilst offering long lasting coverage that doesn’t feel cakey or heavy on the skin.
What I noticed about this product upon swatching it is that a little goes a long way. I only disbursed 1 pump of foundation and that covered from my knuckles to about an inch past the tattoo on my wrist. It’s high light coverage that builds to almost full coverage with a second layer.
I left the swatch on for 5 minutes to see if it would oxidize and it did not, it also did not set down … so you will need to set this with powder.

Revolution Blusher Reloaded $7 for .26 ounces of product.
This one comes in 12 shades of which I now own 3. This one is in the shade Peaches & Cream. This is billed as having a sheer velvet powder formula.
What I noticed about this product upon swatching it is that this shade is pretty light for my skin tone … I knew it might be … it gives a super cute flush of color but I purchased it as a blush topper for the days that I wear cream blush.

Revolution Blusher Reloaded $7 for .26 ounces of product.
This is the shade Coral Dreams. This one is so much more vibrant than it looks on line. What I noticed about this product upon swatching it is that this one is very pigmented and seams to be a bit less powdery than the Peaches & Cream one is.
Coral is my favorite shade of blush (and lipstick) so I jump at the chance to always pick up a coral shade when I can, and while I already own the shade Rhubarb & Custard (which is a dusty coral shade) I think I truly may have found my perfect coral shade in Coral Dreams.

Makeup Revolution Highlighter Reloaded $7 for .35 ounces of product.
This highlighter comes in 8 shades (of which I now own 2: Dare to Divulge (a deeper champagne) and this new one which is called Just My Type (a softer champagne).
This one is billed as the ultimate glow-up with an intensely pigmented powder that will instantly brighten your complexion. A high-impact finish with a super-flattering shimmer. The silky formula glides onto cheekbones seamlessly.
This is a great highlighter formula and super glowy.
Well dolls…. told ya it was a small order. I did place a few Beauty Buys for this month, some lashes from Obsidian Cosmetics, 2 eye liners from Sephora, and a full complexion purchase from the BECCA website.
I hope you enjoy the rest of your day/night and that you are in good health and spirits.
Remember dolls…. Save a spoon for a bit of lipstick.
XOXO, Nita
