Hey doll hey! How’s your day/night going? Great I hope.
I’m back with another beauty/makeup tag. This one was created by Emily Noel on her Youtube channel on the video entitled What’s in My $1,000 SEPHORA FANTASY BASKET… TAG! I thought this one was so fun to watch and if you’ve been following me for any stretch of time then you know how much I love beauty/makeup tags!! So I thought I would do this one but also expand into a 2 part series. For part 2 I plan to do a What’s In My $1000 Ulta Fantasy Basket too.
So let’s peek in on my Sephora Fantasy Basket ….
Question One: If money was object what would you throw in you Sephora dream cart?
Primers:

This one is billed as a velvety priming balm of pressed silk that smooths and makes makeup last longer while keeping it out of skin, helping to prevent clogged pores and breakouts that is a multitasking skin-protecting, makeup-perfecting primer is for face, eyes, and lips.
I have been waiting to try this one for a while but I just cant see spending the coin on less then 1 ounce of product so if I had $1000 free for splurging I would definitely snag a jar of this primer.

This one is billed as a lightweight, hydrating makeup primer for normal to dry skin that nurtures, keeps skin comfortable all day, and extends foundation wear that instantly hydrates skin, and keeps it hydrated all day and extends makeup wear. Formulated with grape seed oil and sodium hyaluronate, this fast-absorbing formula melts into skin, for a silky-smooth finish that normal to dry skin types will love.
I keep putting Fenty products in my cart to purchase for one of my Beauty Buys but I always seem to take them back out of my cart in lieu of something different so if I had the fantasy funds I would buy it in a heart beat.
Foundations:

This foundation comes in 50 shades with plenty of shades for light, medium, and deep skin tones. It’s billed as a hydrating, natural finish foundation that delivers comfortable, long-wear in medium-to-full coverage perfect for normal to dry skin.
I would purchase this one for the same reason as the Fenty primer. It’s a foundation I’m keen to try but always seem to take out of my cart when it’s time to purchase my beauty products for the month.

This foundation comes in 36 shades with plenty for light, medium, and deep skin tones. It’s billed as a long-wearing, customizable foundation that builds from sheer to medium coverage and it’s key claims are: Unique Polymers: Provide lasting wear, ultimate smoothness, and a luminous finish, High-Purity Pigments Treated with Amino Acids: Deliver enhanced wear, a creamy feel, and controlled and easily buildable coverage and Diamond Core Powder: Enhances radiance and skin luminosity and decreases appearance of skin imperfections.
I’ve been wanting this foundation for a little while now but I just don’t want to blow $70 of my monthly beauty budget for just 1 product. I am however hoping to purchase it soon … what I’ve been doing is taking whatever funds are left in my beauty budget for the month and putting them into my savings so that I can purchase Pat’s full complexion range.
Concealer:

This foundation comes in 36 shades with plenty for light, medium, and deep skin tones. It’s billed as a creamy, lightweight, full-coverage concealer with a natural, radiant-matte finish that brightens under the eye and hides the appearance of blemishes and it’s key claims are: Vita-serum Complex: Moisturizes and helps fight the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles,
Flex Form Matrix: Provides smoothness—without being tacky—for ultimate comfort, and Optically Diffusing Pigments: Provide a soft-focus effect that blurs skin imperfections and deliver an exceptionally silky feel.
I’ve also been wanting to try this concealer out because it looks amazing on all the YouTube videos I have seen lately but the shade I need is always sold out so I think since this IS a fantasy basket … in my fantasy the shades I need would not be sold out.
Setting and Finishing Powders:

It comes in 2 shades original (a sheer, creamy beige) and golden bronze (a soft, warm tan) I was gifted the original shade. It’s billed as a weightless setting powder that refreshes and cools the skin with all-day moisture and blurs the look of pores and fine lines. It claims to be formulated with 50% water that sets makeup while refreshing and cooling skin on contact with a mist like sensation.
I have this in a sample size. I really want the full size but right now I have 4 loose powders open so I will have to wait to purchase this one so if money were no object I would purchase it anyway.

This finishing powder comes in 6 shades (3 for deeper skin tones). It’s billed as a universally-flattering finishing powder that recreates the most flattering light and claims to be infused with the innovative Photoluminescent Technology that captures, diffuses, and softens the look of the skin. The micron-size, color-correcting particles refract light and create transparent coverage, filtering out harsh light and refining the appearance of the skin.
I have always wanted this powder in Defused Light. I just never have pulled the trigger on purchasing it because I have so many pressed powders… and even though this is a finishing powder, I already have a finishing powder in the Too Faced Born This Way glow palette so I just keep taking this one out of my cart. If I had $1000 to blow I wouldn’t mind owning more than 1 finishing powder.
Bronzers:

This cream bronzer only comes in 1 shade for contour. It’s billed as a light-as-air, non-greasy cream bronzer that effortlessly melts into skin for a natural-looking bronze or soft contour and claims to deliver a natural-looking bronze in a range of sheer, buildable shades designed for all. Easy to blend and impossible to overdo, this light-as-air, sweat- and water-resistant formula instantly melts into skin without disturbing makeup to bronze, define, or contour with its range of undertones.
Again I keep putting in and then taking out the Fenty products from my cart for other items that I’m keen to try …. I really do want to try these products but other items keep catching my eye just a little bit more …. with extra spending cash I would have no problem purchasing the Fenty range.

This cream bronzer comes in 6 bronzing shades.
I have so much bronzer and have started to buy cream bronzers I just haven’t gotten around to purchasing this one yet.

This bronzer comes in 4 shades (for fair, light, medium, and deep skin tones). It’s billed as an illuminating bronzer with Photoluminescent Technology, featuring bronze pigments that deliver a natural-looking, sunkissed glow while flaunting depth and dimension.
I really REALLY want to try this bronzer out so bad, but I have so much bronzer that I just can’t justify spending $50 on a new bronzer. I have been toying with the idea of purchasing the mini sized but every month I get distracted with other makeup items that I always forget that I want to purchase it.
Blush:

This blush comes in 10 shades and is billed as a light-as-air, non-greasy cream blush that instantly melts into skin for a wash of color and natural-looking flush.
I am super keen to test this cream blush out but I just don’t want to spend $20 on such a small amount of product so I would purchase it if I had the money to blow but since I’m on a beauty budget I just keep putting it off until I see a sale.

This blush comes in 10 shades and 2 finishes and is billed as a groundbreaking hybrid that combines the customized lighting effects of Ambient Lighting Powder or Strobe Powder with a spectrum of breathtakingly modern hues and uses Photoluminescent Technology to exhibit depth and dimension with seamless blending. The handmade powders are formulated using an advanced miscelare technique—which means “to mix” in Italian—creating the perfect balance of pigment and powder. No two look alike.
I am so intrigued by this product! I desperately want to purchase it but again it’s a $40 blush with not much product to it and I have so many blushes that I just can’t justify the price tag purchase. I have toyed with the idea of purchasing the mini version but as of right now I haven’t done so.
Highlighter:

This highlighter comes in 9 colorways and is billed as a weightless, long-wear, cream-powder hybrid highlighter for the face and eyes that melts into skin and blends with almost zero effort. Loaded with superfine shimmer for an ultra-smooth, creamy texture.
I’ve almost purchased this highlighter several times. It’s on my radar but I just some how always end up taking it out of my cart. I don’t know why it’s a stunning highlighter duo in swatches …. I just haven’t jumped into the purchase.
Eyeshadow Palettes:

This palette is billed as a must-have, multiuse, 15-pan palette with the most essential colors including neutral, warm, and cool tones, from light to dark, in different textures. This eyeshadow palette is very user-friendly, and covers a shade range that varies from mauves, burgundies, and browns to warm greys and black.
I have always wanted to try her formula since it’s so hyped up all over the socails but the price tag is just too much for me to purchase without saving up for it …. perhaps after I’m able to purchase the Pat McGrath complexion range I will then save up to purchase this palette … but since this is fantasy and I have $1,000 to spend in said fantasy …. of course I would purchase this palette.

This eyeshadow palette is billed as a palette featuring 15 brand-new eyeshadow shades in the classic, signature Natasha Denona formulas, including matte, metallic, sparkling, and duo-chrome shades and debuts shades of gold in an array of different textures. It also includes browns and greens to complement any of the gold hues, so you can create a broad range of eye looks—from natural and golden to dramatic glam.
Again this would be in my cart if money were not an option. It’s so pretty and so unique to anything I have in my collection.

This eyeshadow palette is billed as a palette of 10 richly-pigmented shades and five next-generation formulas that come together to fashion your most fixating looks for luxury at your fingertips with ravishingly-rich pigments that melt into skin, highlighting and defining eyes for the ultimate in supernatural seduction. Starring a spectrum of sensorial pigments, crystalline pearls, and cream-infused powders, these next-generation formulations set eyes ablaze in luxurious, vibrant color and metallic shine. Galactic glamour awaits as tantalizing textures glide on in a single sensuous stroke, transforming with seamless blendability. Ignite endless looks in impassioned hues that fuel your fantasies, and make eye contact with the next dimension.
I mean how could I NOT purchase a Mama McGrath palette if money were no option!!! This palette is so stunning I just would need to purchase it straight away!!!
Brow Product:

This brow pencil comes in 14 shades and is billed as an ultra-fine, retractable brow pencil that comes in a variety of different long-wear, waterproof, smudge-resistant shades, with a built-in paddle brush for easy blending and styling.
I haven’t purchased this one yet because I have so many brow pencils and many back ups that I just can’t possible spend $20 of my beauty budget to to have another brow product at this time.
Eye Liner:

This eyeliner comes in 37 shades over 3 finishes and is billed as a gel pot eyeliner in a crayon that delivers intense color and 12-hour waterproof wear and amazing glide and the super-malleable formula offers versatility of application. Apply Highliner for flawless, precise lines, or smudge immediately after lining for an instant smoky eye.
I would want to purchase the brown or the black shade …. I already have it in a bronze shade and it’s amazing so I would want my standard shades too, however I have so many black and brown liners that I can’t justify paying $26 for another brown or black liner but with $1000 I could get one and not feel bad about the purchase.
Mascara:

This mascara is billed as a long-wear, lengthening, and curling mascara for a highly defined, full-extension lash look that claims to have Biotin Peptide: that conditions and enriches lashes, Provitamin B5: that enhances lash’s appearance, and Vegan Plant Waxes that builds lash volume with a lightweight feel and also claims to deliver length and curl plus ultra-defined volume. The vegan, flake- and smudge-resistant formula is lightweight and buildable without making lashes look crunchy or clumpy. The wavy-bristled wand was designed to evenly coat every lash for flawless application.
I have this mascara on my radar but I have so many mascaras that I am trying to get through so I haven’t purchased this as of yet.
Lip Stick:

This lipstick comes in 13 shades and is billed as a matte lipstick that features a long-lasting, buildable, and hydrating formula and features 3D glow pigments that help lips appear wider and fuller.
I only ever purchase these lipsticks from Beuatylish when I do a new purchase (that’s because I can take advantage of the flex pay option) because of the price tag. $34 for less than 1 ounce of product is just too much for me to take up from my beauty budget for the month … but again…. this is fantasy so I would have no problem purchasing it.
Lip Gloss:

This lip gloss comes in 6 shades and is billed as an ultimate, gotta-have-it lip gloss with explosive shine that feels as good as it looks and one swipe of Gloss Bomb’s XXL wand leaves lips looking instantly fuller and smoother. The non-sticky formula is super shiny, and has an addictive peach-vanilla scent you just can’t get enough of.
I am so wanting this lip gloss so bad! I just can’t see paying $20 for such a small amount of product! So even though I truly want this lip gloss I will not purchase it except for in my fantasy basket!
So my grand total comes to $1001.00 for everything so $1.00 over the budget but I’m sure I would have a few quarters in the bottom of my purse … since after all this is a fantasy shopping trip right?
Question 2: Is there anything you would buy in the end?
Yes …. I would still purchase Fenty Foundation and the Becca Loose Powder but everything else I would have to wait on.
Well that’s all for now dolls … What would be in your fantasy Sephora basket if you had $1,000 to spend???
Stay tuned Sunday for my Fantasy Ulta Basket.
I hope you enjoy the rest of your day/night and that you are in good spirits and health.
Remember dolls … Save a spoon for a bit of lipstick.
XOXO, Nita
