Hey doll hey! How’s your day/night going? Great I hope. I’m sorry I did not post a Face of the Day yesterday. I wasn’t feeling too good and so I took the day off and gave myself some much needed spa treatments. But I’m back today with a soft summer glam look.
Today I’m wearing Calvin Klein Deep Euphoria perfume – top notes of Cascalone (Oh LA Labs states that this is a a fragrance ingredient which has been created or synthesized in a lab that adds a fresh aquatic feel to fragrance compositions) and White Pepper … heart notes of Mandarin Leaves and Black Magic Rose, and base notes of Musk and Patchouli.
Let’s jump into today’s Face of the Day ….

Base:
I primed my face using Good Molecules Silicone Free Priming Moisturizer ($14 on their website and also on the Beautylish website) and prepped my pores using Tarte Clean Slate Timeless Smoothing Primer ($39 at Ulta and Sephora). For foundation today I’m wearing Believe Beauty Skin Finish Foundation ($5 only at Dollar General Stores) in the shade Nude. I contoured my face using Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Contour Wand ($38 at Sephora and on the Beautylish website) in the shade Medium/Deep. I bronzed my face using Juvia’s Place Shade Stick Foundation ($16 at Ulta and on the Juvia’s Place website) in the shade Guinea (dark skin with cool neutral undertones). I highlighted the high points of my face using BECCA Ignite Liquefied Light Highlighter ($38 at Ulta) in the shade Passion (pale incandescent pearl that reflects gold). I color corrected using BECCA Under Eye Brightening Corrector ($32 on their website) in the shade light/medium and then concealed my under eyes using BECCA Aqua Luminous Perfecting Concealer ($32 on their website) in the shade Porcelain. I set my under eyes using Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder ($28 at Sephora and Ulta). I set the rest of my face using BECCA Hydra-Mist Set & Refresh Powder ($39 on their website) in the shade original (a sheer, creamy beige). I bronzed my face using the BECCA Sunlit Bronzer ($38 on their website) in the shade Ipanema Sun (medium auburn brown). For touch ups I am using Catrice Cosmetics Prime and Fine Waterproof Mattifying Powder ($7.49 at Ulta) in the shade translucent.

Eyes:
I set my brows using Believe Beauty Eyebrow Styling Gel ($4 only at Dollar General Stores) in clear and then filled in my bows using AOA Studio Sculpting Brow Pencil ($1 on the Shop Miss A website) in the shade Dark Brown. I carved out my brows using my BH Studio Pro Brow Highlighting Pencil ($5 on their website) on the matte side and then prepped the rest of my eye lids using Revolution Makeup Cut Crease Canvas Full Coverage Eye shadow Base ($9 on their website) in the shade Halo (white). For today’s eye look I used the ELF 18 Hit Wonders Palette ($14 on their website) and the ELF THe New Classics Palette ($14 on their website). I started with the New Classics Palette, setting my brow line using the shade Creme (vanilla – matte). I then went into both palettes for the rest of the look. For my transition shade I used a combo of the shades Peachy (a pastel peach – matte) from the 18 Hit Wonders Palette and the shade Uptown (a yellow based tan – matte) from the New Classics Palette. For my crease and outer 1/3 of the mobile lid I used a combo of the shades Summer (orange – matte) from the 18 Hits Wonder Palette and Darling (a red based camel brown – matte) from the New Classics Palette. For the outer 1/2 of the outer 1/3 of the mobile lid and the outer v of the crease I used a combo of the shades Heat (a dusty red – matte) from the 18 Hit Wonders, the shade Muse (deep chocolate brown – matte), and the shade Black Cherry (a deep grey based brown – matte) both from the New Classics Palette). For the remaining 2/3 of the mobile lid I used the shade Rose Gold (a coppery rose gold – metallic) from the New Classics Palette and then went with the shade Penny (copper – metallic) from the 18 Hit Wonders Palette to tap over the middle 1/3 of the mobile lid to blend everything together. For the lower lash line I smoked out the lash line using the shade Summer (a red based terracotta brown – matte). I added a bit of the shade Quartz (a peachy coral – metallic) to the inner 1/3 of the lower lash line to add depth rapping it around the tear duct. I then highlighted the inner corners of my eyes using the shade Glamour (a pearl with pink reflect – metallic). I lined my lower waterlines using Marc Jacobs Highliner Gel Eye Crayon Eyeliner ($26 at Sephora) in the shade #74 Sunset (golden bronze- shimmer). I coated my upper and lower lashes with Believe Beauty Hi-Definition Skinny Mascara ($4.50 only at Dollar General Stores) in the shade Black.

Cheeks and Lips:
For blush today I am wearing the 1st shade of the 2nd row (pale mauve) from the ELF Cream Blush Palette ($8 at Ulta and on the ELF website) in the colorway Soft. I then set that with Revolution Beauty Blusher Reloaded ($7 at Ulta and on the Revolution website) in the shade Coral Dream (bright coral – matte). I then highlighted the high points of my face and my cupid’s bow with Essence Pure Nude Highlighter ($4.99 at Ulta) in the shade 10 Be My Highlight. I lined my lips using ColourPop Lippie Pencil ($7 on their website) in the shade Curvii (warm beige) and then filled in my lips using BECCA Lush Lip Colour Balm ($22 on their website) in the shade Cafe Au Lait (peachy beige).

Final Thoughts:
I have been really enjoying the new products that I purchased from BECCA!!! I really REALLY have been falling in love with the quality of the products.
I probably wont be doing a Face of the Day for this Thursday because I will be having my wisdom teeth removed. I am going to try and do a 2nd makeup look either Tuesday or Wednesday so that I have at least a look to post for Thursday but I’m not sure how I will be feeling so I can’t promise that.

Well that’s all for now dolls. I hope you enjoy the rest of your day/night and that you are in good spirits and health.
Remember … Save a spoon for a bit of lipstick.
XOXO, Nita
