Hey doll hey! How’s your day/night going? Great I hope. Today I’m feeling pretty good. I’m in a low amount of pain and have a tad more energy than I’ve had in about a week. I’m very thankful.
I’m not wearing any perfume today, decided to skip it because once again I used my Bath and Body Works Vanilla Bean Noel body wash and really am enjoying smelling like a birthday cake (haa haa). Let’s jump into today’s Face of the Day ….
I primed my face using Fenty Pro Filt’r Hydrating Primer ($32 at Sephora) and prepped my pores using Tarte Clean Slate Timeless Smoothing Primer ($39 at Ulta and Sephora). I started by doing the reverse foundation method using Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Contour Wand ($38 at Sephora and on the Beautylish website) in the shade Medium/Deep. I then did my foundation using The Balm Even Steven Whipped Foundation ($22 on their website) in the shade Light/Medium. I bronzed up the face using Fenty Cheeks Out Freestyle Cream Bronzer ($32 at Sephora) in the shade 05 Teddy (tan skin tones). I highlighted the high points of my face using the BECCA Ignite Liquified Light Highlighter ($38 for 1.5 fluid ounces of product at Ulta) in the shade Passion (pale, iridescent pearl that reflects gold). I color corrected using BECCA Under Eye Brightening Corrector ($32 on their website) in the shade light/medium and then concealed my under eyes using BECCA Aqua Luminous Perfecting Concealer ($32 (but on sale for $19 at Sephora) in the shade Porcelain. I set my under eyes using Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder ($28 at Sephora and Ulta). I set the rest of my face using BECCA Hydra-Mist Set & Refresh Powder ($39) in the original shade. I touched up the bronzer on my face using the BECCA Sunlit Bronzer ($38 on their website) in the shade Ipanema Sun (medium auburn brown). For touch ups I am using BH Cosmetics Studio Pro Matte Finish Pressed Powder (Originally $9.50 but on sale for $4.75 on their website) in the shade #230.
I set my brows using Believe Beauty Eyebrow Styling Gel ($4 only at Dollar General Stores) in clear and then filled in my bows using ELF Lock On Liner & Brow Cream ($4 on their website) in the shade Medium Brown. I carved out my brows and primed my lids using the P.Louise Base ($10 GBP/ $12.79 USD on their website) in the shade #02 Rumour. For today’s eye look I used the Milani Most Loved Mattes Palette ($15 on Amazon, at Target & Walmart). I started by setting my brow line using the shade Fancy Vanilla (warm toned light beige – matte). For my transition shade I chose a combo of the shades You’re a Peach (warm mid toned peach – matte) and Toast of the Town (warm mid toned yellow based brown – matte). For the outer 1/3 of my mobile lid and the crease I chose a combo of the shades Catch a Tan (warm mid toned tan with an orange base – matte) and Hiking in Sedona (warm deep copper – matte). I deepened the very outer part of the outer 1/3 of the mobile lid and the outer v of the crease using a combo of the shades Chocolate is Life (warm dark brown – matte), Don’t Raisin Your Voice (warm deep burgundy – matte) and Umber the Sun (warm mildly deep toned brown with a red base – matte). I tapped the shade Come Up Roses (deep warm rose -matte) over the remained 2/3 of my mobile lid and then topped that with ELF Liquid Glitter Eyeshadow ($5 on their website and at Ulta) in the shade Flirty Birdy (a rose gold base with silver glitter). For my lower lash line I created a drop shadow using more of Catch a Tan (warm mid toned tan with an orange base – matte). I then smoked the lash line out using more of the shade Hiking in Sedona (warm deep copper – matte). I then deepened the lash line using more of the shade Chocolate is Life (warm dark brown – matte). I buffed the whole under eye out using a combo of the shades My Daily Latte (deeply warm mid toned peach – matte) and a touch more of the shade You’re a Peach (warm mid toned peach – matte). I lined my lower waterlines using the Revolution Pro Supreme Pigment Gel Eyeliner ($5 on their website) in the shade Nude. I coated my lower and upper lashes using Believe Beauty Hi-Definition Skinny Mascara ($4.50 only at Dollar General Stores) and then popped on a pair of Beauty Queen lashed from Obsidian Cosmetics (no longer in business).
Cheeks and Lips:
For blush I used Fenty Cheeks Out Freestyle Cream Blush ($20 at Sephora) in the shade 06 Daiquiri Dip (soft coral red). I set the cream blush with the lightest hint of Revolution Blusher Reloaded ($7 on their website and at Ulta) in the shade Peaches & Cream (a dusty peach – matte). I touched up my highlight and highlighted the Cupid’s Bow using Juvia’s Place The Tribe Highlighter Vol. 3. I lined my lips using ColourPop Lippie Pencil ($6 on their website) in the shade Obvi (light pinkish brown). I filled in my lips using ColourPop Ultra Satin Lip (discontinued) in the shade November (a warm peachy coral – satin) and topped that off with the ColourPop Ultra Glossy Lip ($8 on their website – was a collab with Kathleen Lights) in the shade Moon Child (pinky nude with gold glitter).
I’m thinking about cutting my hair. It’s almost to my booty now and I find it hard on me to brush out as well as wash. It takes a lot of energy for me to maintain…. hubby really loves it so I’m not sure that I will … but if I do I would cut it to shoulder length.
I really hope to have thee energy to dye it again sometime this week, my grays are coming through like weeds in the grass.
I’ve been putting together my beauty buy list for August but so far I haven’t really decided what I really want first … any suggestions??
Well that’s all for now dolls. I hope you enjoy the rest of your day/night and that you are in good spirits and health.
Remember dolls … Save a spoon for a bit of lipstick.
