Hey doll hey! How’s your day/night going? Great I hope. I took a down day yesterday. Was feeling very exhausted and needed to rest. I am feeling better today …. still a little weak but better than yesterday.
Today I am wearing Estee Lauder Pleasures perfume (top notes are: White Lily, Violet Leaf, Green accords. Middle notes are: Black Lily, White Peony, Baie Rose, Pink Rose, Jasmine, Pink Peppercorn, and Karo Karounde Blossoms. The scent is round out at the bottom with: Sandalwood and Patchouli). For today’s look I used the palettes I made from ColourPop. Well…. let’s dive into today’s Face of the Day …..

Base:
I primed my face using HourGlass Veil Mineral Primer ($54 at Sephora) and my pores using Tarte Clean Slate Timeless Smoothing Primer ($39 at Ulta and Sephora). I then used Believe Beauty All Over Glow Skin Illuminator ($5 only at Dollar General Stores) in the shade Forbidden Kiss (rose gold champagne) to add a lilt to the high points of my face. I contoured using Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Contour Wand ($38 at Sephora and on the Beautylish website) in the shade Medium/Deep. For foundation today I am wearing Catrice Cosmetics HD Liquid Coverage Foundation ($10.99 at Ulta) in the shade #030 Sand Beige. bronzed up the face using Fenty Cheeks Out Freestyle Cream Bronzer ($32 at Sephora) in the shade 05 Teddy (tan skin tones). I highlighted the high points of my face using the BECCA Ignite Liquified Light Highlighter ($38 for 1.5 fluid ounces of product at Ulta) in the shade Passion (pale, iridescent pearl that reflects gold). I color corrected using BECCA Under Eye Brightening Corrector ($32 on their website) in the shade light/medium and then concealed my under eyes using Juvia’s Place I Am Magic Concealer ($14 at Ulta) in the shade 23 (fair skin with neutral undertones). I set my under eyes using Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder ($28 at Sephora and Ulta). I set the rest of my face using BECCA Hydra-Mist Set & Refresh Powder ($39) in the original shade. I touched up the bronzer on my face using the KVD Beauty Shade & Light Contour Palette using the shade ShadowPlay (the 2nd shade of the 2nd row). For touch ups I am using Flower Light Illusion Perfecting Powder ($13.99 at Ulta) in the shade Beige.

Eyes:
I set my brows using Believe Beauty Eyebrow Styling Gel ($4 only at Dollar General Stores) in clear and then filled in my bows using ELF Lock On Liner & Brow Cream ($4 on their website) in the shade Medium Brown. I carved out my brows and primed my lids using the P.Louise Base ($10 GBP/ $12.79 USD on their website) in the shade #02 Rumour. I used ColourPop single shadows that I put together in a build your own palette offered on their website for $45 (gives you 24 shadows and an empty z palette). I started by combining the shades Hear Me Out (white peach – matte) and Let Me Explain (ivory – metallic) to set my brow line. As my transition color I used a combo of the shades Cut Outs (dusty coral – matte), Issues (medium peach – matte), and Bel-Air (cool taupe – matte). For the outer 1/3 of the mobile lid and the outer v of the crease I used a combo of the shades Criss Cross (warm red based copper – matte), Top Notch (terracotta brown – matte), Bel Air (cool taupe – matte), and Feathered (rich chocolate brown – matte). I then deepened the very outer part of the outer v and outer 1/3 of the mobile lid using a combo of the shades Side Tracked (terracotta with gold flecks – sequin), Good Thing (warm chestnut brown – matte), Cloud Nine (plummy brown – matte), and Humble Brag (burnt orange with gold flecks – sequin). I used a bit of the P Louise base to softly cut the crease and then I used the shade Thank You Next (rosy bronze with a copper duo-chrome flip – metallic) on the outer part of the cut crease and blending it into the outer 1/3 of the mobile lid’s color. In the middle of the cut crease I used the shade Turntables (orangey coral – metallic) and then I used the shade Come and Get It (rose with a duo-chrome gold flip – metallic) on the inner part of the cut crease. I used the shade Ringer (champagne – metallic) to highlight the inner corners of my eyes. For my bottom lash line I used the residual of the brushes I used for my crease and outer v to create a subtle drop shadow and then I deepened the lash line using more of the shade Cloud Nine (plummy brown – matte). I tight lined my upper lash line using Sephora 12HR Colorful Contour Eye Pencil ($11 at Sephora) in the shade Cocoa (Chocolate Brown) and tight lined the lower water line using Marc Jacobs Highliner Gel Eye Crayon Eyeliner ($26 at Sephora) in the shade Sunset 74 (golden bronze shimmer). I did two coats of ColourPop BFF Mascara ($8 on their website) in the shade Black on Black.

Cheeks and Lips:
For blush today I chose the 1st shade of the 1st row (the coral shade) of the ELF Cream Blush Palette ($8 at Ulta and on the ELF website) and then set that with a slight tap of Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush ($29 at Ulta and Sephora) in the shade Captivating (bright peach – matte). I touched up my highlighter on the high points of my face and my Cupid’s Bow using Essence Pure Nude Highlighter ($4.99 at Ulta) in the shade 10 Be My Highlight. I lined my lips using ColourPop Lippie Pencil (part of the big box of lippie pencils vault – out of stock) in the shade Oh Sis (smoked paprika) and filled in my lips using MAC Matte Lipstick ($19 at Ulta and MAC) in the shade Kinda Sexy (neutral pinky rose).

Flowerboy (hot peachy pink – matte)….Say I Do (baby pink – matte)…Bratty (vivid orange – matte)… and Monarch (cool toned pink with a silvery sheen – metallic), The Pretty Fresh Hyaluronic Hydrating Foundation ($16 on their site) in the shades Fair 20 N and Fair 30 N (I wasn’t sure which would be best so I just purchased both), The Pretty Fresh Hyaluronic Concealer ($9 on their site) in the shade Fair 20 N, The Ultra Glossy Lip ($7 on their site) in the shade Spacemaker (pinky coral), and The Ultra Blotted Lip ($7 on their site) in the shade Doozy (warm rose).
From Beautylish I ordered: 1 Large Z palette (holds 28 shadows) $22 on their site, 1 Double Sides Palette (holds 56 shadows) $36 …. I ordered these so that I can store all of my ColourPop singles together inside of 5 separate shadow palettes. …., Good Molecules Priming Moisturizer $14, HourGlass Unreal High Shine Volumizing Lip Gloss in the shade Solar (coral) $30, Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Gloss in the shade Girly (coral) $16, HourGlass Vanish Airbrush Concealer in the shade Creme $34, and 4 Natasha Denona 5 pan palettes : Mini Nude, Mini Star, Mini Gold, and Mini Glam $25 each.
I should receive these orders within 2 weeks and will do a haul and swatch post once I receive them.
I finally made my soft pretzels :

It was a huge undertaking for me. I only made 8 pretzels but it took me several hours because after rolling out 1 pretzel at a time I would have to rest because it took a load of energy from me. I burned my finger trying to put a pretzel in the boiling water …. and several of the pretzels came out deformed…. but they tasted amazing!

Well that’s all for now dolls. I hope you enjoy the rest of your day/night and that you are in good health and spirits.
Remember …. Save a spoon for a little lipstick.
XOXO, Nita
Those pretzels look delicious! I love soft pretzels. I don’t bake much anymore because of my back pain, but I used to love to bake.
