Hey doll hey! How’s your day/night going? Great I hope.

Since I’m taking the next few days off, I thought perhaps I’d do a few beauty tag posts….

I only just discovered her this past month and I think she’s pretty great. She has been part of the YouTube community since September 10, 2017, has a following of 4.95 K subscribers and her videos have over 318,697 views.

Her tag was designed to spotlight beauty creators that are amazing, drama free, and deserve some much needed lifting up…. since the beauty community has taking a hit the past few years with all the drama (I wont get into it … if you know … you know … I chose not to address the drama since I want nothing more than to spread positivity and joy).

So without further ado here are my answers to this beauty tag…

Question #1 : Who is a creator that makes you laugh?

There are 2 YouTube creators that have me in stitches from laughing all the way through their videos….

Theresa has been part of the YouTube community since August 4, 2015, has 33.7 K subscribers, and her videos have over 3,309,000 views. I’ve only been watching Theresa for about a month now but she has quickly become a guilty pleasure to watch. She is the funniest person I have ever met. She starts out every video with a funny little something that happened to her and I swear she keeps me laughing the rest of the time I’m binge watching her videos. She is so sassy that it’s endearing. She does swear so this is not a channel to watch with little ones in the room, but I promise you will be thoroughly entertained.

Paige has been part of the YouTube community since June 17, 2016, has 20.2 K subscribers, and her videos have over 2,368,309 views. I’ve been watching Paige for about 9 or 10 months now. She is a fellow beauty obsessed spoonie who always makes me smile. She is jovial and personable and she pokes fun herself in a way that just makes her feel like you are visiting with a friend. She has an Auto-Immune illness as well as a brain tumor and she always manages to remain upbeat and has an amazing zest for life. Her humor is so much like mine that I think that makes me laugh twice as hard.

Question #2 : Who is a creator that teaches you?

There are many YouTube creators that I’ve learned from but the 2 that stand out the most to me are twins from the UK…… One is a skin care enthusiast and the other is a professional makeup artist….

James has been part of the YouTube community since February 11, 2015, has 874 K subscribers, and his videos have over 72,943,916 views. I’ve been a subbie of his for around a year now, right around the same time I found his brother on YouTube too. He is a skin care enthusiast who has taught me so much about skin care this past year … and my skin has never looked better… I use to only use my NO 7 serums and moisturizers and to cleanse I would use my Dove Beauty Bar. When I happened upon Jame’s YouTube channel, earlier this year, I started to learn more about serums and the different types of cleansers and toners and even K Beauty skin care tips. He has the type of personality that just sucks you right in… right from the start. He never sugar coats it when it comes to how he feels about certain ingredients in skin care or certain brands and items. I know that if James recommends something as a good product that it really is a good product.

Robert has been part of the YouTube community since May 21, 2015, has 548 K subscribers, and his videos have over 28,650,122 views. It’s been around a year that I’ve been watching Robert. He is a professional makeup artist with over 10 years experience and uses his platform to break down the tips and tricks to better makeup application. He is a no nonsense beauty guru who isn’t afraid to tell you what “fads” are not really good for everyday use. I’ve only been following him for about 5 or so months but in that time I have learned so much. Better techniques…. items that upon incorporating into my routine have really upped my makeup game, and fads that, once I stopped doing, have really made my makeup look amazing. He does this Monday series called Ghost Stories and Makeup Mondays where he does a themed makeup look and reads Ghost stories that his subscribers have sent in to him.

Together the Welsh brothers have a weekly podcast called The Double Cleanse Podcast about everything beauty, from dealing with pimples and how to perfect your makeup, to the realities of social media influencing and advertising. (as stated on their heading of their podcast).

Question #3: Who is a creator that lifts others up?

Again .. there are a few YouTube creators come to mind for this question, there are many others but these 3 really come to mind when I think lifting others up…

Emily has been part of the YouTube community since November 8, 2006, has 1.01 M subscribers, and her videos have over 208,848,400 views. I have been following Emily for the better part of 10 years….. it’s like visiting with an old friend. She is very charismatic. She loves to share other creator’s work and she just has this warm inviting presence about her. The way she up lifts the community is so endearing … she is the same across all her social platforms, be it on YouTube, her Twitter or her Instagram. There is never any drama with her and she is always an inspiration.

Jen has been part of the YouTube community since April 19, 2012, has 295 K subscribers, and her videos have over 40,457,247 views. I have been watching Jen for around 5 years now and her personality and style have always been genuine. She loves to talk about other YouTube creators that fascinate her, always gives credit where credit is do, and never minces words. When something is wrong or unjust …. Jen speaks her mind. When something is amazing ….. Jen speaks her mind. She doesn’t pull punches and she doesn’t let anyone be harsh or mean. She stands her ground when she has something to say… whether that be on her Instagram or her Twitter. She has this weekly beauty community live chat that she does where nothing is off limits to talk about…. She is genuine and that makes her so endearing to me.

Jessica has been part of the YouTube community since April 7, 2013, has 592 K subscribers, and her videos has over 90,527,299 views. Jessica is a huge Disney fan …. that’s how I found her 8 years ago. Her husband is also a Disney certified travel agent. She was a teacher but as her YouTube channel grew she quit her job to become a full time YouTube creator and now full time mommy to the cutest little girl on the planet. Jessica is such a sweet soul. When I first started watching her she did tons of makeup reviews and get ready with me videos… she has since expanded her channel to include lifestyle things. She is such a breath of fresh air and you can tell she is just as genuine in real life as she is on her YouTube, her Instagram, and her Twitter. She always gives credit where credit is do and she never has a negative thing to say about anyone.

Question #4 Who is a creator that you respect?

There are so many people in the beauty community that I respect, everyone that I’ve mentioned and will mention in this post are all people that I respect tremendously for 1 reason or another…. there are just too many to narrow this down to just 1 so I give you my top 5 creators that I respect…..

Chelsea has been part of the YouTube community since May 4, 2016, has 7.11 K subscribers, and her videos have over 278,755 views. Sad to say I’ve only been following Chelsea for the better part of 3 months, but in that time I have grown to adore her. She is the sweetest most amazing human on this earth. She has this super adorable voice that just makes you smile, she is such a ray of light and such an inspiration. She is super amazingly beautiful and her style is superb!

Kristi has been part of the YouTube community since February 28, 2013, has 1.11 M subscribers, and her videos have over 119,552,569 views. I have watched Kristi for the better part of 6 years now. I cheered for her during the NYX Face Awards and cheered even harder earlier this past month when she revealed that she was pregnant after 10+ years of struggling with infertility. Kristi is a super talented makeup artist that does amazing special effects makeup … I love Halloween time because she does not disappoint when it comes to character makeup. She is so open about her life and her opinions of makeup, the community, and just life in general that it just feels like you’ve been friends your whole life. I always trust her makeup reviews, she doesn’t hold anything back… if the product is shit then she tells it like it is.

Allie has been part of the YouTube community since November 14, 2012, has 683 k subscribers, and her videos have over 64,336,961 views. I’ve been watching Allie for right around a year and 1/2. She is such a little cutie! She is so personable, so sincere, and just another fresh breath of air. She owns her own makeup bag company as well… the whole collection is on my wish list for a someday in the future purchase. She has such a bubbly way about her. She was the one who taught me how to get that flawless look to my foundation. She is just such a joy.

Shan has been part of the YouTube community since January 17, 2009, has 3.15 M subscribers, and her videos have over 453,216,787 views. I’ve been watching Shan for around 10 years now. She owns her own beauty line and is a New Zealand based beauty guru. She just does such a stunning job at makeup! She is another one with a bubbly personality. She is also another one that if a product is shit … she is going to tell you like it is.

Hanna has been part of the YouTube community since February 17, 2017, has 215 K subscribers, and her videos have over 26,103,711 views. I’ve only been watching Hanna for about 2-ish months but have really enjoyed her content. She is a no nonsense type of girl. She is very outspoken and always shoots from the hip. She has very strong opinions and doesn’t mince her words. She does videos on the drama of the beauty community but she also does reviews and a series where she says if she would buy a new product or pass on it.

Question #5 : Who is a creator whose collection you love?

Tara has been part of the YouTube community since December 3, 2008, has 144 K subscribers, and her videos have over 20,467,457 views. I’ve been watching Tara for over 7 years and am always in awe of her collection. She does a makeup haul every Saturday and does , by far, the best swatches of the products she purchases. She stores her makeup in 5 Viper 33-Inch 13-Drawer Tool Storage units. She has the biggest collection I’ve ever seen and I just can’t get enough of her makeup room tours.

Question #6 : Who is a creator whose creativity inspires you?

I get inspiration from many in the beauty community but I never stepped out of my comfort zone of neutral looks until I started watching certain YouTube creators …. 3 of which are …..

Angelica has been part of the YouTube community since April 30, 2015 , has 81.5 K subscribers , and her videos have more than 11,677,273 views. I’ve been following her for about 4 months now and just love how she makes me want to fly right out my comfort zone and dive right into color.

Kelsee has been part of the YouTube community since February 7, 2010 , has 53 K subscribers , and her videos have more than 5,103,418 views. I’ve been following her since March. First of all she is absolutely stunning and secondly she is a blast to watch. She comes up with some unique color combos that have me really reaching out of my comfort zone with looks. In fact the look I did on July 26th was inspired by a video she did that week. I really love binge watching her…. she just inspires me to really get creative with my makeup.

Denitsa has been part of the YouTube community since October 20, 2015, has 2.52 M subscribers, and her videos have more than 173,409,764 views. I’ve been following her for 3 years now. She is the sweetest most cutest little bundle of joy ever. She does these amazing makeup looks and what I like about her tutorials is that she inserts a close up of the eye she is working on so that you can see perfectly just what she is doing and it makes it easier to follow along. I have recreated many of her looks over the years I’ve watched her.

Question #7 : Who is a creator you’d like to be friends with in real life?

Oh man this is such a hard question! I feel like so many of the YouTubers that I follow really do already feel like friends. I had a super hard time limited this one down … so I chose the 12 top gurus I would love to hang out with, although I would totally hang out with any of the YouTubers I have mentioned in this post, truly ….

Bailey has been part of the YouTube community since January 22, 2013, has 1.98 M subscribers, and her videos have over 135,392,042 views. I have been following her for a little over a year now. Bailey is quirky and sassy and all around fun to watch. She would be a hoot to hang out with. She does this Monday series called Murder, Mystery, and Makeup Mondays where she does her makeup on camera whilst discussing true crime cases. She also does a makeup look on Saturdays. Her personality is just so quirky that it makes me want to binge watch her for hours.

I’ve already introduced Paige but ….Paige has been part of the YouTube community since June 17, 2016, has 20.2 K subscribers, and her videos have over 2,368,309 views. I’ve been watching Paige for about 9 or 10 months now. For all the reasons I’ve already said I would love to just hang out with her. She and I are similar in makeup tastes and humor. I think we would get along perfectly.

Ashley has been part of the YouTube community since December 10, 2010, has 598 K subscribers, and her videos have over 29,713,777 views. I have been following her for about a year now. She’s a fellow Floridian. She is no nonsense when it comes to her reviews and reminds me a lot of a friend I had back in college. We have the same makeup tastes and I really think she would be super cool to hang with.

has been part of the YouTube community since June 11, 2010, has 5.2 M subscribers, and her videos have over 979,150,336 views. I have been following her for the better part of 9 years. I first found her through the NYX Face Awards and just fell instantly in love with her style. She’s a fellow Latina and super funny. She is no nonsense when it comes to her reviews and she is super open about her life. She also does not get mixed into all the beauty drama and is just a well rounded person.

For all the reasons I already expressed about her. Theresa has been part of the YouTube community since August 4, 2015, has 33.7 K subscribers, and her videos have over 3,309,000 views. I’ve only been watching Theresa for about a month now. She is just a breath of fresh air. I love to laugh and I love to joke around and I just feel like if Theresa and I every hung out we would be spending the whole day trying to one up each other with funny stories.

Audra has been part of the YouTube community since September 17, 2016, has 6.11 K subscribers, and her videos have over 119,023 views. I have been following her for just a little under 2 months but right from the first video I just knew she was amazing. She has a pension for horror movies, bigger than mine, and she does this series called Terror Tuesday where she discuses horror movies. She also does reenactments of horror movies that are so fun to watch. She is quirky and describes herself as having frenetic energy which is pretty spot on … just the other day I tweeted out that she is my spirit animal, or more to the point my spirit twin… we have the same personality and the same likes in horror movies. I love that she isn’t afraid of playing with color makeup looks. She is just a truly unique person.

Chelsea has been part of the YouTube community since May 4, 2016, has 7.11 K subscribers, and her videos have over 278,755 views. Sad to say I’ve only been following Chelsea for the better part of 3 months. She just has this unassuming sophistication about her. She carries herself so beautifully that she is just so endearing. She would be that friend I’d have a coffee with and just catch up with … she would be that friend that I would turn to fro life advise because she has it all togehter.

Mel has been part of the YouTube community since July 18, 2013, has 154 K subscribers, and her videos have over 22,105,426 views. I have been following her for about a year now. First of all we have to discuss her laugh. She has one of those laughs that just brings a smile to your face…. that type of laugh that if you are having a bad day instantly brightens your mood. She is genuine and witty and is just a pleasant human being. She is such a sweet person and I just know she would be that friend that would be the one to tell you when you are doing something wrong , but in the nicest of ways… she would give you pep talks when you need them but would also call you on your crap without hurting your feelings.

Nikki has been part of the YouTube community since June 23, 2008, has 13.5 M subscribers, and her videos have over 1,344,459,903 views. I have been following her for for around 12 years now and have really seen her come out of her shell. She is funny and witty and always handles herself with the utmost of decency. She is always classy, even when she was faced with someone trying to black mail her because she is trans-gendered and had not disclosed that to her followers …. she had the right to keep this to herself …. she was not ready to divulge this to the world and yet some monster found this out and tried to black mail her over it. She came out with a video that was tasteful, eloquent, and heartfelt. This video made me love her even more that I already did. She is super funny and I mean … who wouldn’t love to hang out with Nikki? She is just the people’s quintessential beauty guru.

Anna has been part of the YouTube community since July 19, 2015, has 401 subscribers, and her videos have over 25,634 views. I have been following her for about 9 months now. She is a fellow Word Press beauty blogger as well, which is how I found her. She is quirky and has great sense of humor. I’ve often commented on her videos that when she talks to her viewers it feels like catching up over a cup of coffee and that is so true. You can tell that she is a genuine person. We have the same taste in makeup styles (when I’m in a quirky makeup look mood). She comes across quiet and unassuming but hidden just under that surface is a fun time …. I truly love watching her videos.

Kathleen has been part of the YouTube community since January 26, 2013, has 4.18 M subscribers, and her videos have over 603,599,619 views. I have been following her for around 10 1/2 years. She has grown so much in that time span. She is a fellow Floridian and Latina. She reminds me of my baby sister. They have the same fun vibe about them. She is funny and witty and she talks a mile a minute … I have been known to speak the same way … I think we would be the type of friends that would be hopped up on caffeine chatting a mile a minute.

Question #8 : Who is a creator you hope to see grow?

Aaaannnnd again another hard one for my to answer … I picked 3 beauty channels and 1 non beauty channel that I would love to see blow up.

Audra has been part of the YouTube community since September 17, 2016, has 6.11 K subscribers, and her videos have over 119,023 views. I have been following her for just a little under 2 months. She has really great content and a super amazing personality. I wish her the best and hope that her channel blows up huge one day.

Anna has been part of the YouTube community since July 19, 2015, has 401 subscribers, and her videos have over 25,634 views. I have been following her for about 9 months now. She does amazing makeup looks and has great story time sessions. I really wish more people watched her content she is really great at makeup.

Mary has been part of the YouTube community since January 3, 2014, has 15.2 K subscribers, and her videos have over 1,319,464 views. She is part of the 50+ beauty community and is such a joy to watch. She is funny and has a sparkling personality. I love the makeup looks she comes up with and really wish her well … and hope to see her channel get the boost it deserves.

John has been part of the YouTube community since  March 22, 2015, has 446 K subscribers, and his videos have over 13,071,006 views. If I’m not mistaken he only just recently started up loading videos on his YouTube channel…. I first learned about him on TikTok. He has a niche for story telling … mostly about the paranormal, macabre, and true stranger than life stories. He is really, REALLY good at telling the stories he tells. He just sucks you into the story so well that whenever I’m binge watching his channel whilst doing my makeup, cooking, or just simply enjoying coffee on my patio hubby will always stop what he’s doing to watch with me… hubby isn’t the biggest YouTube person …. but he really likes John’s content. I would love to see his channel take off like a bottle rocket.

Question #9 : Who is a creator that gives off good vibes?

Almost all the creators that I follow give off good vibes …. that’s what draws me to them … if I had to pick just 1 … hard pressed as I would be it would have to be …..

Jessica has been part of the YouTube community since April 7, 2013, has 592 K subscribers, and her videos has over 90,527,299 views. Jessica is a huge Disney fan …. that’s how I found her 8 years ago. She just has the purest of spirits. She is always smiling, open and honest, and doesn’t mind sharing her life with her subbies.

Question #10 : Honourable mentions….

There are 13 that I just have got to mention! They are all amazing, sweet, funny, sincere, and genuine…..

Lauren has been part of the YouTube community since February 6, 2015, she has 80.2 K subscribers, her videos have over 11,076,294 views. I have been watching her for the better part of 2 years now. My favorite of her video series is Spent + Sent. She goes through everything she purchased and all of her PR for the month and how much those things cost. It’s her way of being accountable to her viewers on what she actually spent in a month. Lauren was the person who gave me the idea to set a beauty budget for the month. She has set a budget that she sticks to and if she under spends then she rolls the extra over to the next month. Life is so much easier for me with this budget set in place.

Taylor has been part of the YouTube community since July 14, 2009, she has 820 K subscribers, her videos have over 149,414,869 views. I have been watching her for a little under 10 years now. My favorite video series that she does is her Raves and Rejects – that’s her favorite and not so favorite items of the month and her Foundation Fridays – where she reviews a new foundation every Friday … I have found a heap of great foundations off her recommendations.

Samantha has been part of the YouTube community since October 12, 2011, she has 99.4 K subscribers, her videos have over 11,846,013 views. I have been watching her for right around 1 year now. My favorite series she does is her Will I buy It series. She goes through all the new releases that are coming out and what she thinks is worth the purchase and not so much worth the purchase. This series has made me really think before I purchase a new release …. now I have less waste when I buy something.

KAt has been part of the YouTube community since November 6, 2012, she has 52.8 K subscribers, her videos have over 6,025,978 views. I have been watching her for about 1 1 /2 years. My favorite series she does is her Project Pan series where she updates how she is doing on using up products from her collection. She just recently had a baby and still has the time to update her pan project items.

Tia has been part of the YouTube community since January 27, 2010, she has 97.8 K subscribers, her videos have over 10,858,833 views. I have been watching her for right around 6 months. My favorite videos that she does are swatch videos and tag videos. She is really great at swatches and it’s great to see just how makeup items look on deeper skin tones …. helps me to know what to pick when I do makeup for my deeper skin friends.

Nisa has been part of the YouTube community since August 24, 2010, she has 36.2 K subscribers, her videos have over 2,236,694 views. I have been watching her for about 2 months. She is very eclectic and I just enjoy watching all her content. She’s quirky and sassy and just a ball of joy to watch.

Samantha has been part of the YouTube community since February 21, 2013, she has 1 M subscribers, her videos have over 75,433,991 views. I have been watching her for about 5 months. Her makeup tutorials are amazing and her witty is quick and smart. She’s just simply funny and a bright spot in this community.

Shannon has been part of the YouTube community since June 2, 2013, she has 78.2 K subscribers, her videos have over 6,531,909 views. I have been watching her for her maybe 4 years now. I love her tutorials and her Makeup Revolution videos and her haul videos. She is who introduced my to Shop Miss A and her personality is just so sweet.

Alicia has been part of the YouTube community since September 4, 2009, she has 71.9 K subscribers, her videos have over 7,120,094 views. I have been watching her for 5 months now. I really enjoy her shadow palette reviews and her palette mash ups (where she does 2 looks in 1 go, 1 look on 1 eye and another look on the other eye). She is sassy and beautiful and has an lively personality.

Kelly has been part of the YouTube community since June 1, 2013, she has 27 K subscribers, her videos have over 2,698,420 views. I have been watching her for I think 2 years now. My favorite series she does is her This or That series where she squares off 2 of the same type of skin care products, normally K Beauty skin care. I’ve learned so much about good qaulity K Beauty skin car products from her.

Eleanor has been part of the YouTube community since September 5, 2012, she has 574 K subscribers, her videos have over 21,507,334 views. I have been watching her for just over 3 months. I just love her style. She is super talented and witty and just is very unique.

TI has been part of the YouTube community since December 20, 2010, she has 154 K subscribers, her videos have over 10,954,988 views. I have been watching her for around 4 months now. All in all I love everything she puts out but my favorite video by far is titled How to do your makeup for a YouTube apology video. It was quick witted and poked fun at all the drama that is plaguing the beauty community right now. She does amazing makeup and is so intelligent and stunning!

Rachael has been part of the YouTube community since May 28, 2009, she has 1.46 M subscribers, her videos have over 170,637,572 views. I have been watching her for 5 years now. My favorite series she does is her Bye or Buy series and her First Impression series. She starts out all her videos with a little anecdote that always leaves a smile on my face. She is funny and super friendly.
