3rd Haul of August 2020 (ColourPop)

Hey doll hey!!! How’s you’re day/night going? Great I hope. I’m still feeling pretty crummy. I just wanted to pop in and share one of the things I purchased from ColourPop this month. I received it yesterday but wasn’t feeling well enough to swatch and write a post.

Let’s take a look at what I purchased…. *Note: I do all swatches on clean bare skin with no primer and all swatches are done in 1 pass… the pictures on the left are taken without flash and the ones on the right are taken with flash*

This palette is billed as a fresh 15-pan eyeshadow palette with the perfect mix of vibrant pops of color and rich earth tones. Featuring a range of finishes from matte, metallic, and Super Shock Shadow formulas, create the most dimensional looks any time of year.

This palette has 5 mattes, 5 metallics, 4 sequin mattes, and 1 super shock shadow.

The colors from left to right are: Deserted (ivory – matte), Herbivore (pastel peach with silver and gold pin points – sequin matte), Synergy (icy pink with teal flip – metallic), Wavelength (opal with gold flip – metallic), and Prickly Please (pastel coral – matte)

The colors from left to right are: Third Eye (soft gold with a green under-tone – metallic), Best Buds (icy vibrant green – metallic), Smudge Off (pinkish purple with a silver pearl – metallic), Don’t Leaf (soft coral with pink, silver, and gold flip – multi chrome metallic), and Over the Bloom (true coral with silver and gold pin points – sequin matte).

The colors from left to right are: Stay Sharp (warm mid-toned brown – matte), Succa 4 U (plum with a under-tone with silver and gold pin points – sequin matte), Stuck on You (plum – matte), Clay Day (dusty rose with silver and gold pin points – sequin matte), and Root ‘Em Up (brown with a green under-tone – matte).

This palette would have been perfect for the spring. The mattes are hard pressed and finely milled. The metallics are buttery and super pigmented, the sequin mattes are lightly pressed and finely milled and the super shock is smooth with no chunky glitters in it. There was not a lot of kick back in the pans and the pigmentation of the mattes is pretty good as well.
