Hey doll hey! How’s your day/night going? Great I hope. I’m starting to feel better. The Ativan is a strong medicine and has taken me a little bit to adjust. I’m not randomly falling asleep anymore or slurring my words and my eye sight isn’t as foggy anymore. I still have days were I do need a nap because I feel groggy but for the most part I am functioning again. I should be back to doing my daily Face of the Day posts.
Today I received another one of my ColourPop orders so I thought I’d haul it… it’s a small one but I have more makeup coming soon. I’ve ordered from Fenty, BECCA (sad to say they are going out of business as of September 2021….one of my favorite complexion makeup brands), Milk Makeup, bareMinerals, NudeStix, ULTA, and Sephora as well as 2 orders from ColourPop. I’ll haul those as I receive them.

I also placed and received an order for Morphe Brushes that I just received the other day.
So far I think they are of good quality and I’ll do a review soon.
For now I’ll do this small haul – #5 in for the month. If you would like to see what I hauled for the month of February you can click through to the following: February 2021 E.L.F. Makeup Haul , February 2021 Haul#2 BH Cosmetics , February 2021 Haul #3 ColourPop , February 2021 Haul #4 ColourPop .
On to today’s haul…
*As always… All products listed I purchased myself, all links provided are purely for convenience purposes to help you find the product quickly and are in no way affiliate links. The swatches are done on clean bare skin with no primer and are done in 1 swipe, pictures to the left/top are taking without flash and the right/bottom with flash*

Pretty Fresh Hyaluronic Hydrating Primer (normally $12 but on sale for $9.60 for 1 fluid once of product on their website).
This primer is billed as a lightweight, hydrating primer that refreshes and preps skin to create a smooth canvas for makeup.
What I’ve learned from swatching this primer: There is a faint coconut/beachy scent that is pleasant. It feels extremely hydrating and I look forward to testing it out.

The 143 Valentine’s Day 5 pan palette $10 for 0.15 ounces of product making this $2 a shade on their website.
This palette is billed as the perfectly flirty look, create it with this hot pink 5-pan shadow palette. Let this mixed finish palette spell it out for you, you’ll love the rich pops of color, iridescent glitter, and vibrant metallics.

The shades from left to right are: aww (pale baby pink – metallic), qt* (cool toned soft pink – pressed pigment), my boo* (pale baby pink with opalescent rainbow glitter flecks – pressed glitter), loml* (cool hot pink with hot pink and silver pearl – sequin matte), and luv* (fuchsia – metallic).
What I’ve learned from these swatches: The metallics are super creamy, the matte is dusty but pigmented, the pressed glitter is not as bad as the pressed glitters in other palettes and the pink doesn’t really translate to the skin, with this one you only get the crystal of the glitters and not the pretty pink shade. The sequin matte is buttery and the glitters don’t really translate in full intensity, it’s more of a light dusting of sparkle. This palette is really sweet and I’m here or it.

Wine & Only 9 pan palette $14 for 0.3 ounces of product making it $1.56 per shade on their website
This palette is billed as a palette with rich burgundy and deep reds that is a love letter to our favorite shade of wine. Make a statement or add a wash of color, this richly pigmented palette will be a staple in your collection.

The shades from left to right are: blanc (warm rose gold – metallic), sip sip (mid tone rose with hot pink pinpoints – sequin matte), major chianti** (mauve rose – pressed pigment), cast a chateau (raspberry with a vibrant pink duo chrome – metallic), play to wine (true ruby – metallic), mull it over** (rich berry – pressed pigment), vinter** (deep merlot – pressed pigment), mon sherry (black cherry with hot pink pearl – metallic), grape-ful** (deep plum with gold pearl – sequin matte).
What I’ve learned from these swatches: This formula isn’t as finely milled as some of the other 9 pan palettes, I’m wondering if that’s because this palette is heavily red based and it may be harder to have that fine mill on these pigments. With that said the mattes are still pretty buttery, the metallics are still heavily creamy, and the sequin matte is glitter saturated… but not in a bad way. The sequin matte does have a pack of glitter that does translate to the face but does not flake all over the face. The shadows are all super pigmented and this color story is divine. For sure this palette is the one I’ll be using for my next Face of the Day.
Well dolls. That’s it. Told ya it was a short haul…. I hope you enjoy the rest of your day/night and that you are in great spirits and health.
Remember dolls, Save a spoon for a bit of lipstick.
XOXO, Nita
Great haul, glad you’re feeling better. I just got the “Melt 4 U” palette and “Moonwalk” Super Shock Shadow because they were having a Free Shipping day. Today “Like A Moss” came in but I’m out of money and the shipping isn’t Free anymore. Colourpop drives me crazy, but I love them! 🙂
