March Haul #3 Milk Makeup

Hey doll hey! How’s your day/night going? Great I hope. I’m doing pretty good… small headache but nothing too serious, pain level is 5, and energy level is around medium.

I’m coming at you with my 3rd haul for March, my first March haul was titled March Haul #1 BECCA Cosmetics, NudeStix and Fenty Beauty and my second haul was titled March Haul #2 ColourPop and bareMinerals.

This haul is a small one but I wanted to get it out there as soon as possible. So let’s jump right in….

*As always… All products listed I purchased myself, all links provided are purely for convenience purposes to help you find the product quickly and are in no way affiliate links. The swatches are done on clean bare skin with no primer and are done in 1 swipe, pictures to the left/top are taking without flash and the right/bottom with flash*

Milk Makeup FLEX FOUNDATION STICK $36 for 0.35 ounces of product on their website.

This foundation stick is billed as a medium coverage, natural finish foundation. It claims that it covers, calms, and flexes with buildable formula can take on anything you’ve got. Stick format glides on for quick, mess-free application, infused with blue lotus to moisturize and chamomile to help calm redness and soothe skin and seamlessly becomes one with your skin without creasing or caking thanks to elastic marshmallow root extract (the ingredient that gives the candy its squishy abilities). It comes in 36 shades (9 shades for fair, light, medium and deep tones). I purchased 2 shades this one is called Fair (Fair with Cool Pink Undertones).

What I learned from this swatch: It’s a very creamy formula but so light weight that I had forgotten that I had it on while I was doing my 10 minute oxidation test (it did not oxidize after 10 minutes). The tube is made of metal… I’m use to stick foundations being in plastic tubes so this one has some weight to it.

It comes in 36 shades (9 shades for fair, light, medium and deep tones). I purchased 2 shades this one is called Rich (Very Deep with Neutral Undertones) and I purchased it to be my contour shade.

What I learned from this swatch: This one did rub on as creamy as the lighter shade did, there was so tugging when I swiped it across the back of my hand. other than that it was just like the lighter shade, except I didn’t so an oxidation test since I’m using it as contour.

Milk Makeup BLUR LIQUID MATTE FOUNDATION $40 for 1 fluid ounce of product on their website.

This foundation is billed as an oil-free and silicone-free formula gives you flawless full coverage with a lightweight, serum-like feel. It claims that it blurs pores and fine lines instantly with blurring microspheres, powder-filled spheres that diffuse the light and leave a smooooth, matte finish. It comes in 24 shades (4 for fair, 3 for light, 7 for medium and 10 for deep tones) I purchased the shade Ivory (Fair with Neutral Undertones).

What I learned from this swatch: It’s serum like, high pigment and blends in so well. It did not oxidize and dried down to a demi matte finish. This is a pretty foundation on the hand. I could visibly see the smoothness where I have liens and pores on the back of my hand.

Milk Makeup FLEX CONCEALER $28 for 0.2 fluid ounces of product on their website.

This concealer is billed as a medium (to full) coverage concealer can take on anything you’ve got — from under eyes to over breakouts. Claims it’s infused with blue lotus to moisturize and chamomile to help calm redness and soothe skin and gives seamlessly becomes one with your skin without creasing or caking thanks to elastic marshmallow root extract (the ingredient that gives the candy its squishy abilities). It comes in 24 shades (4 for fair, 3 for light, 7 for medium and 10 for deep tones) I purchased the shade Crème (Very Fair with Warm Peach Undertones).

What I learned from this swatch: It’s a squeeze tube with a standard doe foot applicator. The concealer is a very light serum based concealer with medium pigment and a satin finish. This one does not oxidize either.

Milk Makeup MATTE BRONZER $30 for 1 ounce of product on their website.

This stick bronzer is billed as Easy application, a creamy formula with a matte finish. It comes in 2 shades I already owned Baked in a mini so I purchased Blaze (Deep Bronze).

What I know about this bronzer: This bronzer formula quickly became my favorite last year and remains in the top 2 for me. It goes on easy and has great slip with no patchiness or lifting of the products under it.

Milk Makeup HIGHLIGHTER $30 for 1 ounce of product on their website.

This stick highlighter is billed as a luminous cream stick that leaves a natural, radiant glow. It only comes in the shade Lit (Champagne pearl).

What I learned from this swatch: This stick is much more subtle than the bronzer and blush sticks, but it is still very pretty…. this one would benefit with just a light dusting of powder highlight over the top. It’s super creamy and lightweight.

Well that’s all dolls. Told ya it was a small haul. I hope you enjoy the rest of your day/night and that you are in great spirits and health.

Remember dolls…. Save a spoon for a bit of lipstick.

XOXO, Nita
