May 2021 Haul #7 – Ulta

Hey doll hey!!! How’s your day/night going? Great I hope. I fell pretty good, except the fact that I am a bit sluggish today. I am currently working on my first Face of the Day for week 2 of May, once I’ve finished I’ll have that one posted.

I got my last order for May 2021 in the mail today so I’m here to haul it for you.

*As always… All products listed I purchased myself, all links provided are purely for convenience purposes to help you find the product quickly and are in no way affiliate links. The swatches are done on clean bare skin with no primer and are done in 1 swipe, pictures to the left/top are taking without flash and the right/bottom with flash*

Good Molecules Overnight Exfoliating Treatment ($6 for 30 mL/ 1fl oz at Ulta and on the Beautylish and Good Molecules websites) is billed as  a smoother, clearer complexion with the Overnight Exfoliating Treatment from Good Molecules. This blend of 10% alpha and beta hydroxy acids helps to resurface and renew, smoothing away dead skin cells and unclogging pores to reveal visibly radiant skin.

I wont have a first impressions because I haven’t opened this yet, I’ll be testing it out this week. In the meantime, I do love this brand, great quality for a reasonable price.

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick ($8.49 for 0.15 oz at Ulta) is billed as the  cult-classic lipstick with the perfect combination of high-impact Lipcolour in a super-moisturizing formula. Super vibrant. Super lush. Super creamy lip color and comes in 44 shades

First Impressions: I had originally wanted the Audrey Hepburn shade “Pink in the Afternoon” but then I saw the shade Soft Silver Red (muted medium coral with a metallic finish) and just couldn’t put it down so I purchased this shade instead. What I noticed off the bat was that there was no scent to this lipstick. I love the sheen that this metallic lipstick gives… it’s not too shiny or metallic and the shade is perfect for us Coral lovers. It’s worth noting that this is the first Revlon product I’ve owned since purchasing a 5 pan shadow palette back in high school… I’m keen to try other items some day.

Makeup Revolution Superdewy Liquid Blush ($7.00 for 0.5 fl oz at Ulta) is billed as a hint of tint to your look with the Makeup Revolution Superdewy Liquid Blush range. An easy to use, ultra-pigmented, buildable liquid blush. Go for a natural flushed finish or build it up for a more pigmented look and comes in 5 shades.

First Impression: The shade I chose was Fake the Flush (peach). This is a cream blush with the feel of a gel and is sheer but can be built up just as the billing says. This one dries down almost all the way so you wont need to set it with powder. Based on the swatch I have a felling I’m going to love this cream blush.

Hourglass Vanish Blush Stick ($46 for 0.20 oz at ULTA online only) is billed as a transformative blush stick that delivers seamlessly buildable color in weightless cream-to-powder formula and comes in 6 shades.

Final Impressions: I chose the shade Sacred (coral peach). I just simply love everything from the Vanish line… the foundation is my holy grail date night foundation… the highlighter is amazing… and based on this swatch the blush stick will be every bit as amazing as the other 2 products. It’s a beautiful shade and gives such a glow to the skin. It doesn’t dry down but also doesn’t slip around so it’s perfect for every style of makeup.

Nabla Secret Palette ($39 f0r a total net weight of 13.1 g/ 0.46 oz at Ulta) is billed as NABLA Secret Palette is elegantly compact, the packaging is adorned with an hypnotic and texturized pattern, where pop and dainty golden patches, multidimensional embossed flowers and little metallic jade drops enhance the preciousness of the decoration also along with the beloved formulas Super Matte, Fluid Metal, Crystal and Satin, two textures are presented for the first time: Diamond, specifically created to intensify duochrome and crystalline finishes, and Velvet, whose formulation is able to give extreme depth to dark and intense shades.

First Impressions: This is the first product I’ve ever owned from Nabla. I’ve always wanted to try them but just somehow never did until now. They know how to do eyeshadow that’s for sure. The formula is finely milled, buttery and super pigmented. The only shade I had some trouble with is Nablack… it was dusty and not as pigmented as I would hope from a black shade.

The shades from left to right are: Aesthetic (hazel/taupe – satin), Contigo (mid tone rosy beige – super matte), Big Experience (crimson red with fuchsia/orange electric duochrome shimmer – fluid metal), Giulietta (mid tone pastel pink – super matte), Romeo (brown with pink undertones and a copper/red shimmer – satin), Play Hard (aqua green with line/jade duochrome reflects – crystal), Rosemary (forest green with emerald/teal duochrome shimmer – fluid metal), Addiction (deep sea green – super matte), Fantasize (denim with warm gold/scarlet red duochrome reflects – fluid metal) and Mea Culpa (deep warm brown – super matte).

The shades from left to right are: I Promise (light pink champagne – satin), Hypersensual (trichrome with apricot, amber and orchid reflects – diamond), Ghibli (salted caramel – super matte), Creation Crown (deep baroque gold – fluid metal) and Nablack (deep black – velvet).

Well dolls… that’s all for this haul…. I hope you are in great spirits and health and that you enjoy the rest of your day/night.

Don’t forget to save a spoon for a bit of lipstick.

XOXO, Nita
