Hey doll hey!! How’s your day/night going this Saturday? My night is pretty good and my day was fabulous! Heaps of energy and low pain day. I was able to get out to the food shop to pick up some steaks for supper tonight.
I had a follower on TikTok request that I do a Pansexual pride look for her… I felt so honored that she would trust me with creating a pride look for her… and she loved it so I’m glad I was able to do her flag justice.
For those who are confused at what the difference between Bisexual and Pansexual here’s the cliff notes version as I understand it to be… I’m Bisexual… I’m attracted to both men and women and transmen… my follower is Pansexual, she is attracted to people regardless of gender, be it men, women, or trans and can also be attracted to nonbinary….
So with that said… let’s jump into the walkthrough of this beautiful color story… But first…
Today’s scent is:

Top Notes: Gardenia, Lily, Marigold, Passion Flower, Osmanthus (a flowering shrub related to olive trees), Tagetes (a perennial closely related to sunflowers) and Rose.
Heart Notes: Orchid, Lilac, Cyclamen, Jasmine, Heliotrope
Base Notes: Cedar, Sandalwood, Musk and Amber
What I think about this scent: There is a subtle sophistication to this perfume but I don’t fancy wearing it when I’m super dressed up, to me it’s more of a casual dressed perfume. It’s my baby sister’s favorite scent.
On to the walk through for today’s Face of the Day….

Eyes and Brows:

Today I tried a new technique that I’ve seen all over TikTok… instead of soap brows to get fluffy brows you use got2b glued styling spiking hair glue by Schwarzkopf ($14.91 for 3, 6 oz tubes on Amazon, it’s also sold at most drug and big box stores). I brushed the gel through my brows and used the handle of my spoolie brush to flatten my brows out and once they dried I feathered my brows with Uoma BROW-FRO Baby Hair ($22 for 0.002 oz of product at Ulta) in the shade #6 (deep brown), just hitting the areas that were sparse and then I carved out the brow using Beauty Creations Color Base Primer ($4 for 0.5 fl oz of product on their website) in the Ballerina (nude cream). I then set the brow line with a shimmer white shadow (honestly I can’t remember which one I used today). I primed the inner 1/2 of my lids and crease using Beauty Creations Color Base Primer ($4 for 0.5 fl oz of product on their website) in the shade White Out (pure bright white) and I used Beauty Creations Color Base Primer ($4 for 0.5 fl oz of product on their website) in the shade Lime Light (true yellow) on the outer 1/2 of the lids and crease. For this eye look I used 2 palettes. For the pink portion I used the ColourPop 143 5 pan palette (Limited Edition – was $10 for .015 oz / 4.25 g of total product making it 0.03 oz /0.85 g and $2 per shade on their website) and for the yellow and blue I used the E.L.F. x JKissa To the Rescue 18 Pan Palette (Limited Edition – was $20 for 0.52 oz / 15 g of total product making it 0.02 oz / 0.83 g and $1.11 per shade on the E.L.F. website). I started by applying the color base in White Out to the inner 1/2 of my lids and crease then I applied the shade LMOL(medium bright pink with hot pink pin points – sequin matte) from the143 palette. Over the outer 1/2 of the lids and crease I used the color base in the shade Lime Light and then I applied the shade Yosemite (true yellow – matte) from the Rescue palette. I then took the shade My Boo (clear pink base with chunky glitters of blue, light purple and pink) from the 143 palette and tapped that all over the pink 1/2 of the crease and lid and tapping just a hint of it over the middle line of demarcation. I then went back into the Rescue palette and taking shade Fire Fly (bright yellow gold – metallic) I tapped that over the yellow 1/2 of the crease and lid. I then created winged liner using Physician’s Formula Eye Booster Waterproof Ultra-Fine Liquid Eyeliner ($11.49 for 0.03 oz of product at Ulta) in the shade Blackest Black. For the bottom lash line I used the Rescue palette and the shades Cannoli (vibrant true blue – matte) to create a deep drop shadow that I pulled up along the black wing liner. I then took the shade Bailey (royal blue – metallic). I then line my lower waterlines using NYX Slide On Eye Pencil Waterproof Eyeliner ($8 for 0.04 oz of product at Ulta)in the shade Azure (bright sea blue).
Complexion:

I primed my face using ColourPop Pretty Fresh Hydrating Hyaluronic Acid Primer ($12 for 1 fl oz at Ulta and on the ColourPop website). I contoured using the Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Stick ($25 for 0.35 oz of product at Ulta) in the shade Mink (toasted almond). I bronzed using NARS Sunkissed Bronzing Cream ($38 for 0.67 oz of product on their website) in the shade Casino (medium brown). For foundation today I am using ColourPop Pretty Fresh Foundation ($16 for 1 fl oz at Ulta and on the ColourPop website) in the shade Fair 30 N. I highlighted the high points of my face using Flower Beauty Day Glow Highlighting Glaze ($10.99 for 0.12 oz of product at Ulta) in the shade Stunner (pale champagne).I color corrected my under eyes using L.A. Girl HD Pro Corrector Concealer ($4.99 for 0.28 fl oz at Ulta) in the shade Peach Corrector. I concealed using Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Pro Filt’r Instant Retouch Concealer ($26 for 0.27 fl oz at Sephora) in the shade 110 (for very fair skin w/ cool pink undertones).
Cheeks, Lips, Lashes and Touch Ups:

For my cheeks I used Milk Makeup Lip & Cheek Stick ($30 for 1 oz this shade is only offered on their website) in the shade Swish (bright pink). I set my under eyes using Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder ($28 for 0.14 oz/ 4.2 g of product at Sephora) in the shade #1 (fair to medium skin tones) and the rest of my face using Too Faced Born This Way Ethereal Loose Setting Powder ($34 for 0.56 oz of product at Ulta) in the shade Translucent. I touched up the highlighter using BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter ($22 for 0.085 oz/ 2.4 g of product at Sephora) in the shade Opal (golden opal pearl). I lined my lips using ColourPop Lippie Pencil ($6 on their site but no longer available) in the shade Dial Up (vibrant hot pink) and topped my lips off with Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick ($8.49 for 0.15 oz of product at Ulta) in the shade Soft Silver Red (mid toned pink coral). For mascara I used the LA Girl Jetsetter Mascara ($6.99 for 0.32 oz of product at Ulta) and popped on a pair of ColourPop Falsies ($8 on their website) in the style Mami. I set my face using ColourPop Pretty Fresh Hyaluronic Acid Setting Mist ($12 for 3.72 oz of product at Ulta). For touch ups I am using Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder – shade Creamy Natural (0.49 oz for $3.17 at Walmart). I added a touch of the Kylie Highlighter to the inner corners of my eyes with a bit more of the BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter ($22 for 0.085 oz/ 2.4 g of product at Sephora) in the shade Opal (golden opal pearl).
Final Thoughts:

This look was super fun to create and I never though I’d look good in yellow shadow but I learned doing this look that yellow is pretty neat.
The most important thing I’ve learned creating these pride looks is that creating bold looks is not out of my wheel house. I really have been having a ball with all the compliments I’ve received out in public the past few looks. Typically when I do something a bit bolder with color work I will face my face off before I venture out and about… but the past 3 looks I didn’t have time to wash off before running out the door and all 3 times I received multiple compliments… which is a double edge sword for me… on 1 hand it made me feel proud of myself for the hard work I did on my looks but on the other hand I have social anxiety and so heaps of people I don’t know coming up to me to compliment me is a bit overwhelming.
Well that’s all for now dolls. I hope you enjoy the rest of your day/night and that you are in great spirits and health.
🥄 Don’t forget to save a spoon for a bit of lipstick 🥄
