Hey doll hey!!! It’s Friday…. hello weekend. How are you today? Great I hope. I’m doing pretty good still. Plus side… no headache today thank goodness.

Today’s scent is:

Top Notes: Watermelon, Passion Fruit, Mandarin, Marigold, Water Hyacinth, Green Apple and Crushed Leaves.
Heart Notes: Tuberose, Princess Lily, Wild Rose,
Base Notes: Caramel, Crème Brulee, Patchouli, Vanilla and Precious Woods.
What I think of this scent: This is a fun scent. I love wearing it all year round and pairs well with business causal, summer chic or jeans and a flirty little top and flip flops.
And now… on to today’s Face of the Day walkthrough….

Eyes and Brows:

I set my brows using got2b glued styling spiking hair glue by Schwarzkopf ($14.91 for 3, 6 oz tubes on Amazon, it’s also sold at most drug and big box stores). I brushed the gel through my brows and used the handle of my spoolie brush to flatten my brows out and once they dried I feathered my brows with Milani Stay Put Brow Color ($8.49 for 0.09 oz of product at Ulta) in the shade Dark Brown 05. I carved out my brows and primed my lids using Juvia’s Place I Prep, I Prime ($12 for 12 ml of product at Ulta) in the shade #1 (milky white). For today’s eyeshadow look I used 2 palettes: ColourPop x Kathleen Lights So Jaded 30 pan Palette (No Longer Available, was limited edition) and The Rainbow Paradise Eyeshadow Palette ($38.99 but on sale now for $24.99 on the Alora Cosmetics website). I started by setting my brow line with the white shadow from the Rainbow palette. I then used a combo of the shade Jade (olive green – matte) from the Jaded palette and the 3rd shade of the green row from the rainbow palette as a base for today’s look, I also ran that shade combo along the outer 1/3 of my mobile lids. For my transition I used the the 2nd shade of the green row from the rainbow palette. I then buffed out the transition up to the brow line using the 1st shade of the green row from the Rainbow palette. I then cut my crease (the inner 2/3 of the mobile lid and crease) using more Juvia’s Place I Prep, I Prime and then went in with the shade Peridot (bright chartreuse – metallic) all over the freshly cut crease. I then added more of the combo of Jade (olive green – matte) from the Jaded palette and the 3rd shade of the green row from the rainbow palette to the demarcation line of the mobile lid between the outer and middle 1/3 and then I used the 4th shade of the green from from the Rainbow palette over the middle 1/3 of the cut crease. I then used the Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliner ($21 for 0.25 oz of product at Ulta) in the shades Pyro (iridescent and sliver glitter on a milky white base) to sprinkle a bit more sparkle over the cut crease. For the lower lash line I first created a deep drop shadow using the 3rd shade of the green row from the Rainbow palette and then I went in closer to the lash line with the 2nd shade of the green row from the Rainbow palette. I then took the black shade from the Rainbow palette and deepened the outer v of the crease and very close to the lower lash line. I lined my lower waterlines using a combo of L.A. Girl Shockwave Eyeliner (4.49 at Ulta) in the shades Gotcha (neon grass green) topped with Fresh (neon mint green). I then highlighted the inner corners of my eyes using the shade Diamond (icy champagne with blue reflects – metallic).
Complexion:

HD Pro Corrector Concealer ($4.99 for 0.28 fl oz at Ulta) in the shade Peach Corrector. I concealed using Revolution Pro Ultimate Radiant Under Eye Concealer ($12 for 0.15 fl oz /4.5 mL of product on their website) in the shade C1 (their lightest shade). For contour I used Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Stick ($25 for 0.35 oz of product at Ulta) in the shade Mink (toasted almond). My foundation today is Makeup Forever Ultra HD Invisible Cover Foundation ($43 for 1.01 oz/ 30 mL of product at Sephora) in the shade Y235 (Ivory Beige – for light skin with neutral undertones). I bronzed using NARS Sunkissed Bronzing Cream ($38 for 0.67 oz of product on their website) in the shade Casino (medium brown). I highlighted the high point of my face using ColourPop Pretty Fresh Hydrating Illuminator ($12 for 1.2 fl oz of product at Ulta) in the shade Soft Gold (pale gold).
Cheeks, Lips, Lashes and Touch Ups:

For blush I used Hourglass Vanish Blush Stick ($46 for 0.2 oz/ 6 g of product at Sephora) in the shade Sacred (coral peach). I set my under eyes using Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder ($28 for 0.14 oz/ 4.2 g of product at Sephora) in the shade #1 (fair to medium skin tones) and the rest of my face using Too Faced Born This Way Ethereal Loose Setting Powder ($34 for 0.56 oz of product at Ulta) in the shade Translucent. I topped my highlighter off using Makeup Revolution Highlighter Reloaded ($7 for 0.35 oz of product at Ulta) in the shade Raise the Bar (yellow gold). I lined my lips using NYX Suede Matte Lip Liner ($4 at Ulta) in the shade Whipped Caviar (muted plum) and then topped my lips using Beauty Bakerie Cake Pop Lippies ($10 for 0.05 ounces of product on their website) in the shade Funnel Cake (peach nude – matte) and then topped my lips with Natasha Denona Lip Oh Phoria Lip Gloss ($26 for 0.13 oz/ 4 mL of product at Sephora) in the shade Duo Chrome Coral. For mascara I used Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High Mascara ($11.49 at Ulta) and popped on a pair of Alora Cosmetics 3D Mink Lashes in the style Hollywood ($9.99 but on sale for $6.99 on her website). I set my face using ColourPop Pretty Fresh Hyaluronic Acid Setting Mist ($12 for 3.72 oz of product at Ulta). For touch ups I am using Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder – shade Creamy Natural (0.49 oz for $3.17 at Walmart).
Final Thoughts:

This is super fun look but if I could change anything it would be that I didn’t bring the transition so far down on the sides of my nose and I would has added a bit more of the lime green shimmer further over so that there was better balance between the inner and middle 1/3 of the mobile lids.

The Rainbow Paradise Eyeshadow Palette ($38.99 but on sale now for $24.99 on the Alora Cosmetics website).
I give this eyeshadow palette a solid A+++!!! : The pigmentation of this palette is insane! There was no kick back, no fall out and each shade blended like butter. The shades that I used also played well with others… I was able to buff shades from the ColourPop palette into the shades from this palette seamlessly with no patchiness and no skipping. I am definitely keen to try more palettes from this indie brand.

Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliner ($21 for 0.25 oz of product at Ulta) in the shades Pyro (iridescent and sliver glitter on a milky white base).
I give this liquid liner a solid D+ : I don’t understand how this product made it passed production… really I don’t. It sucks as a liner and sucks as a topper… I tried to use it straight from the brush and it kept lifting the shadows underneath. I ended up having to brush the product onto a fluffy blender brush and than apply that to my lids. It was super subtle and I ended up having to apply it this way 5 times to get some sort of payoff…. I’ll use the product up but I will never repurchase it.

Beauty Bakerie Cake Pop Lippies ($10 for 0.05 ounces of product on their website) in the shade Funnel Cake (peach nude – matte).
I give this lippie a solid A+++ : I did not grade this the highest grade because this lippie is just a hair to drying for me… I’ve used bullet lippies in a matte formula before and this is the first one that felt tight on my lips. However with that said… I used a hint of lip gloss and that made it worth the struggle because the shade is a stunner!
Well that’s all for now dolls. I hope you enjoy the rest of your day/night and that you are in great spirits and health.

🥄 Remember… Save a spoon for a bit of lipstick 🥄
