Hey doll hey!!! How’s your Thursday going? Great I hope. I’m doing pretty good today… slight headache but all in all pretty darn good.
Today I’m trying out another look I sketched out and I really like it better than the Coral look I did.
I used the Huda Beauty Mercury Retrograde palette ($67 for 0.56 oz / 16.1 g of product making it 0.31 oz / 0.89 g and $3.72 per shade at Sephora) for today’s look.
Today’s scent is :

Top Notes: Almonds, Lime and Pear.
Heart Notes: Sugared Almond and White Peony.
Base Notes: Tonka Bean, Mahogany, Vanilla and Amber.
What I think about this scent: This perfume is my favorite hanging out with the crew scent, going to the doctor scent and office scent because it’s unassuming. It’s soft and adult and perfect for going from brunch to appointments without over powdering the people around you… but you will get compliments in this scent because it has the perfect roundness of powder, sugar and floral.
Now on to the walkthrough of today’s Face of the Day…..

Eyes and Brows:

I set my brows using got2b glued styling spiking hair glue by Schwarzkopf ($14.91 for 3, 6 oz tubes on Amazon, it’s also sold at most drug and big box stores). I brushed the gel through my brows and used the handle of my spoolie brush to flatten my brows out and once they dried I feathered my brows with ELF Cosmetics Lock on Liner and Brow Cream ($4 for 0.19 oz /5.39 g of product at Ulta) in the shade Medium Brown. I carved out my brows and primed the lids using P.Louise Base ($13.88, £10 for 0.504 fl oz / 15 mL on their website) in the shade Rumour 0.5. For today’s look I used the Huda Beauty Mercury Retrograde palette ($67 for 0.56 oz / 16.1 g of product making it 0.31 oz / 0.89 g and $3.72 per shade at Sephora). I started by setting my brow line using the shade Momentum (peach – matte). The transition shade I chose is a combo of the shades Crash (taupe based pink – matte) and Utopia (warm tone coral – matte). For the outer 1/3 of my mobile lids and the crease I used the shade Karma (mid-toned coral – matte). For my outer v of the crease and the outer 1/2 of the outer 1/3 of the mobile lid I used the shade Vortex (deep aubergine – matte). I then took some more P.Louise Base ($13.88, £10 for 0.504 fl oz / 15 mL on their website) in the shade Rumour 0.5.and cut the inner 2/3 of the mobile lids. I then used what was left on the fluffy brush that I applied the shade Karma (mid-toned coral – matte) to blend out the demarcation line from the P.Louise Base. Over the newly cut area of the mobile lids I applied KVD Beauty Dazzle Vegan Eyeshadow Stick ($22 for 0.12 oz / 3.55 mL of product at Ulta) in the shade Hail Surge (described as a soft pearl but is actually a champagne base with a peachy metallic finish). I then went in with the shade Frazzled (deep copper with a gold flip – metallic) and applied it over the middle 1/3 of the mobile lids. I then went back in with what was left on the flat shadder brush that I used to apply Hail Surge and feathered what was left over the middle between the inner 1/3 and middle 1/3 of the mobile lids. I then created a winged liner using KVD Tattoo Eyeliner ($21 for 0.019 fl oz/ 0.55 mL and $12 for 0.007 fl oz/ 0.2 mL at Sephora) in the shade Trooper (black), I also created a point at the inner corner of my eyes to create a more elongated look to the liner. For my lower lash lines I used the residual from the brushes that I used for the shades Crash/Utopia and Karama to created a drop shadow and then deepened the outer part of the lash lines using more of the shade Vortex (deep aubergine – matte). I highlighted the inner corners of my eyes and the arch of my brows using the shade Supermoon (icy white with silver flip – metallic).
Complexion:

I doubled up on my primer today. I started with Makeup Forever Step 1 Primer Pore Minimizer ($37 for 1 oz / 30 ml and $17 for 0.5 oz / 15 ml of product at Sephora) and then added BECCA Cosmetics Backlight Priming Filter Face Primer ($39 for 1 oz/ 30 mL and $21 for 0.5 oz/ 15 mL at Sephora). I contoured using Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Contour Wand ($38 for 0.40 oz/ 12mL of product at Sephora) in the shade Medium/Dark. My foundation today is bareMinerals BAREPRO Performance Wear Liquid Foundation ($35 for 1.0 fl oz /30 mL of product at Ulta) in the shade Ivory 02 (very fair warm skin with yellow undertones). I bronzed my face using Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Match Stix Matte Contour Skinstick ($26 for 0.25 oz/ 7.10 g of product at Sephora) in the shade Mocha (contour for light medium skin tones, cool undertone). I highlighted the high points of my face using NudeStix Nudies All Over Face Color Bronze + Glow ($34 for 0.28 oz/ 8 g of product at Sephora) in the shade Hey Honey (Bronze + Hilite: golden sun-kiss). I color correct my under eyes using BECCA Under Eye Brightening Corrector ($32 for 0.16 oz/ 4.5 g of product at Sephora) in the shade Light to Medium (pearlized, peachy-pink). I concealed using Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez Liquid Touch Brightening Concealer ($19 for 0.25 oz/ 7.5 mL of product at Sephora) in the shade 130N (light with neutral beige undertones).
Cheeks, Lips, Lashes and Touch Ups:

For my cheeks today I used bareMinerals BOUNCE & BLUR Blush ($29 for 0.19 oz / 5.9 g of product at Ulta) in the shade Coral Cloud (fresh peach). I set my under eyes using Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder ($28 for 0.14 oz/ 4.2 g of product at Sephora) in the shade #1 (fair to medium skin tones) and the rest of my face using Too Faced Born This Way Ethereal Loose Setting Powder ($34 for 0.56 oz of product at Ulta) in the shade Translucent. I topped my highlighter off using Juvia’s Place Trible Highlighter Vol 3 ($15 for 0.31 oz / 9 g of product on their website). I touched up my bronzer using BECCA Cosmetics Sunlit Bronzer ($38 for 0.25 oz/ 7.1 g of product at Sephora) in the shade Ipanema Sun (rich auburn brown). I lined my lips with Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat Lip Liner ($22 for 0.04 oz/ 1.2 g of product at Sephora) in the shade Pillow Talk (pink nude) and filled in my lips using Huda Beauty Power Bullet Cream Glow Hydrating Lipstick ($25 for 0.1 oz/ 3 g of product at Sephora) in the shade Angel (light baby pink). I coated my lashes in Benefit Cosmetics Roller Lash Curling & Lifting Mascara ($26 for 0.30 oz / 8.5 g and $13 for 0.14 oz/ 4 g of product at Sephora) and then popped on a pair of Alora Cosmetics 3D Mink Lashes in the style Hollywood ($9.99 but on sale for $6.99 on her website). I set my face using ColourPop Pretty Fresh Hyaluronic Acid Setting Mist ($12 for 3.72 oz of product at Ulta). For touch ups I am using Wet n Wild Photo Focus Pressed Powder ($5.99 for 0.26 oz / 7.5 g of product on their website and at Walgreens) in the shade Neutral Beige.
Final Thoughts:

This is such a stunning look, however I think I would go with a winged liner and not inner corner point I also think I would use a lighter pair of lashes for the look, but I really think this is the look I’m going with for my wedding renewal.
Well that’s all dolls. I hope you enjoy the rest of your day/night and that you are in great spirits and health.
