July 2021 Haul # 2 ColourPop

Hey doll hey!!! How’s your Saturday day/night going? Great I hope. I’m doing OK. In a bit of pain because had to go around to the food shops today and it was raining something terrible today.

1 of 2 ColourPop orders finely came in. I have 1 more ColourPop order and 1 Glamlite and 1 E.L.F. Cosmetics order left before I concentrate on Indie Brands for a while.

And now on to the haul….

*As always… All products listed I purchased myself, all links provided are purely for convenience purposes to help you find the product quickly and are in no way affiliate links. The swatches are done on clean bare skin with no primer and are done in 1 swipe, pictures to the left/top are taking without flash and the right/bottom with flash*

ColourPop Lush Life Full Collection ($72 but on sale this weekend for $50.40 and is a $84 value) is a 10 piece value set that includes 3 BFF Crème Gel Liners, 3 LUX Lip Glosses, 3 Cheek Dew Blush Serums and a 12 pan palette.

I purchased the full set but will leave links to each individual item just in case you see something you like… you can find it easily.

ColourPop BFF Crème Gel Liner ($7 but on sale for $4.90 for 0.01 oz / 0.2 g of product on their website) in the shade Toucan Do It (metallic marigold).

First Impression: This is a super cute yellow liner that is amazing for the summer… I can tell I’ll get lots of use out of this shade.

ColourPop BFF Crème Gel Liner ($7 but on sale for $4.90 for 0.01 oz / 0.2 g of product on their website) in the shade A Glow (metallic lime with a gold shift).

First Impressions: This is my favorite liner out of the collection and possibly even my favorite liner all together. I love that it’s got that gold shift to it making it easily workable with any gold, hazel, copper, bronze or green looks.

ColourPop BFF Crème Gel Liner ($7 but on sale for $4.90 for 0.01 oz / 0.2 g of product on their website) in the shade Canopy (matte deep green).

First Impressions: The color is pretty but this one felt a little stiff so I don’t think this will be one that I wear on the waterlines.

ColourPop Lux Gloss ($8 but on sale for $5.60 for 0.14 oz / 4 g of product on their website) in the shade Orchid (bright true orange).

First Impressions: There is a faint fruity scent to this lip gloss and the shade is pretty, not truly orange more like deep coral. I am a huge fan of their lux gloss formula. It’s thick but not sticky or overpowering, doesn’t travel outside the lip line and doesn’t feather. It’s not the longest lasting gloss but for this price point I don’t mind having to reapply.

ColourPop Lux Gloss ($8 but on sale for $5.60 for 0.14 oz / 4 g of product on their website) in the shade Vanda (bright orange red).

First Impressions: Again, not quite an orange it’s more like a coral and this one is more sheer than the first one was. It has the same fruity scent to it.

ColourPop Lux Gloss ($8 but on sale for $5.60 for 0.14 oz / 4 g of product on their website) in the shade Peace Lily (pinky terracotta with pinpoints of gold and silver pearl).

First Impressions: Out of the 3 glosses this one is my favorite. It’s mostly transparent with sparkle in it but I think that’s what I like about it. This one also has that same fruity scent.

ColourPop Serum Blush ($7 but on sale for $4.90 for 0.48 oz / 13.5 g of product on their website) in the shade Starfruit (warm pinky peach with a natural, dewy finish).

First Impressions: The formula of the serum blushes doesn’t seam to be uniform across the board. This one was very sheer, despite squeezing out enough for 2 cheeks. There isn’t as much color payoff and I would like for a cream blush but it may look different once it’s on my face, I’ll have to test it out soon.

ColourPop Serum Blush ($7 but on sale for $4.90 for 0.48 oz / 13.5 g of product on their website) in the shade Passion Flower (rich terracotta with a natural, dewy finish).

First Impressions: The formula for this shade seems a bit more thicker but I found it hard to get the blush to not slip around and so that is why it looks a bit patchy. The color payoff is better with this shade but I think I’ll use this one for the lips rather than the cheeks, not a fan of terracotta based shades for blush.

ColourPop Serum Blush ($7 but on sale for $4.90 for 0.48 oz / 13.5 g of product on their website) in the shade Hibiscus (bright warm coral with a natural, dewy finish).

First Impressions: The formula for this shade was perfect. Great color payoff, nice even application and of course gorgeous shade… it’s coral… did ya think I would say anything other than I love it.

ColourPop Lush Life 12 Pan Palette ($18 but on sale for $12.60 for 0.5 oz / 14.20 g of total product on their website making it 0.0416 oz / 1.183 g and $1.50 or $1.05 on sale per shade) and is billed as Toucan play with this richly saturated 12-pan palette! Create a lush and vibrant look with this colorful palette, featuring rainforest inspired hues in a mix of shimmering metallics and bright pops of blendable mattes.

The shades from left to right are: Eco (pale yellow – matte), Wild Life (butter yellow – metallic), It’s Paradise (green gold – metallic), Guava (terracotta – matte), Hotness (red coral – metallic), Palm Palm (bright lime – metallic), Juicy (rich emerald – metallic), Hideaway (vivid copper with pink pinpoints – metallic), Noni (red clay – matte), On the Prowl (emerald – matte), Monsoon (navy – matte) and Eden (rich brown – matte).

First Impressions: I waited so long for this palette to be released. I am a sucker for greens and coral metallic shades. This color story is stunning. The formula is typical for ColourPop, finely milled mattes and buttery smooth metallics. There was some heavy kickback with the mattes and there was some flacking with the metallics but nothing too troublesome. My 4 favorite shades of this palette are It’s Paradise (green gold – metallic), Palm Palm (bright lime – metallic), Juicy (rich emerald – metallic) and Hotness (red coral – metallic). This is going to be my favorite little summer palette I just know it.

Annnnnd…. With that this haul is done.

I hope you enjoy the rest of your day/night and that you are in great spirits and health.

🥄 Remember… Save a spoon for a bit of lipstick 🥄
