Hey doll hey!!! How’s your Tuesday day/night going? Great I hope. I’m doing a heap better. Low pain, good energy and mentally in a better place.
The Tiny Decisions app chose a cut crease for today’s look… and I wanted to dive right into the ColourPop Lush Life 12 Pan Palette ($18 but on sale for $12.60 for 0.5 oz / 14.20 g of total product on their website making it 0.0416 oz / 1.183 g and $1.50 or $1.05 on sale per shade) that I hauled 👉HERE.

Today’s scent is:
Top Notes: Bergamot, Pineapple and Raspberry.
Heart Notes: Orris, Ylang-Ylang, Damask Rose and Violet.
Base Notes: Musk, Amber and Cedar.
What I think about this scent: This is one of my favorite day scents. It’s earthy and spicy but still has a hint of sweetness to it. It’s a great jeans and cute cold shoulder top scent.
For dinner last night I made homemade Korean food… a meal that I saw prepared on TikTok by a creator called Maangchitime. It’s Korean Honey Butter Chicken and Korean Sticky Potatoes. It was super yummy and hubby really enjoyed it. It had a very well rounded flavor to it…. a bit sweet and a bit savory… it was definitely a hit.
Now let’s dive into the walk through for today’s Face of the Day….
Eyes and Brows:
I set my brows using got2b glued styling spiking hair glue by Schwarzkopf ($14.91 for 3, 6 oz tubes on Amazon, it’s also sold at most drug and big box stores). I brushed the gel through my brows and used the handle of my spoolie brush to flatten my brows out and once they dried I feathered my brows with L.A. Girl Brow Pomade ($5.99 for 0.27 oz / 7.65 g of product at Ulta) in the shade Dark Brown. I carved out my brows and primed my lids using P.Louise Base ($13.88, £10 for 0.504 fl oz / 15 mL on their website) in the shade Rumour 05. For today’s eye look I used 2 shades from the BH Cosmetics Smitten in Switzerland 16 Pan Palette ($17 but on sale for $6.80 for 0.56 oz / 16 g of total product at Ulta making it 0.035 oz / 1 g and $1.06 per shade and $0.43 per shade on sale) and ColourPop Lush Life 12 Pan Palette ($18 but on sale for $12.60 for 0.5 oz / 14.20 g of total product on their website making it 0.0416 oz / 1.183 g and $1.50 or $1.05 on sale per shade). I started by setting my brow line using the shade Snowcap (soft cream – matte) and as the transition shade I used the shade Fondue (nude blush – matte), both from the Smitten palette. I then switched to the Lush Life palette. For my crease shade and the outer 1/3 of my mobile lids I used a combo of the shades Eco (pale yellow – matte) and Noni (red clay – matte). I then deepened the outer v of the crease using the shade Eden (rich brown – matte). I cut my half crease using more P.Louise Base ($13.88, £10 for 0.504 fl oz / 15 mL on their website) in the shade Rumour 05. I then applied a thin layer of NYX Long Lasting Glitter Primer ($6.50 for 0.33 oz / 9.36 g of product at Ulta) and then tapped on the shade Palm Palm (bright lime – metallic) over the cut crease. I then took more of the shade Noni (red clay – matte) to soften the line of demarcation between the outer 1/3 and the cut crease of the mobile lid. I created a long wing liner using KVD Beauty Tattoo Eyeliner ($21 for 0.019 oz/ 0.55 mL of product at Sephora) in the shade Mad Max (brown). For the lower lash lines I created a deep drop shadow using more of the shade Noni (red clay – matte) and then closest to the lashline I used the shade Juicy (rich emerald – metallic). I then buffed the whole lash line using more of the shade Fondue (nude blush – matte) from the Smitten palette. To highlight the inner corners of the eyes I used the shade It’s Paradise (green gold – metallic) from the Lush Life palette. I lined my lower waterlines using ColourPop BFF Crème Gel Liner ($7 but on sale for $4.90 for 0.01 oz / 0.2 g of product on their website) in the shade A Glow (metallic lime with a gold shift). I then lined the upper part of the cut cease using Alora Cosmetics Glitter Liner ($6.99 but on sale for $3.99 on their website) in the shade gold.
I primed my face using Believe Beauty Pretty and Primed Hydrating Primer ($5 for 1 fl oz /30 mL of product only at Dollar General Stores). My foundation today is Flower Beauty Light Illusion Liquid Foundation ($14.29 for 1 fl oz / 30 mL of product at Ulta) in the shade Natural Beige. I color corrected my under eyes using Tarte Colored Clay CC Undereye Corrector ($25 for 0.08 oz / 2.27 g of product at Ulta and Sephora) in the shade Light/Medium. For concealer I used Milk Makeup Flex Concealer ($28 for 0.2 oz/ 5.9 mL of product at Sephora) in the shade Crème (very fair with warm peach undertones). I contoured using Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Stick ($25 for 0.35 oz / 9.92 g of product at Ulta and Sephora) in the shade Mink (toasted almond) and bronzed using Juvia’s Place Shade Stick Foundation ($16 but on sale for $6 for 0.34 oz / 9.7 g of product on their website) in the shade Guinea (dark with neutral undertones). I highlighted the high points of my face using BECCA Ignite Liquified Light Face & Body Highlighter ($38 for 1.5 oz/ 45 mL of product at Sephora) in the shade Passion (pale, incandescent pearl that reflects gold).
Cheeks, Lips, Lashes and Touch Ups:
My cream blush today is NARS The Multiple ($39 for 0.50 oz / 14 g of product on their website) in the shade Portofino (Shimmering Coral). I set my under eyes using BECCA Under Eye Brightening Setting Powder (on longer available as company is going out of business) and the rest of my face using BECCA Hydra-Mist Set & Refresh ($39 for 0.35 oz/ 10 g of product at Sephora), I ended up trashing the bareMinerals Illuminating Mineral Veil Powder…. I just could not stand it. I touched up my bronzer using MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural Face Powder ($37 for 0.35 oz 9.92 g of product at Ulta) in the shade Give Me Sun (light summer peach tan). I lined my lips using ColourPop Lippie Pencil ($6 but on sale for $4.20 on their website) in the shade BFF (nude) and then topped my lips with Huda Beauty Power Bullet Cream Glow Hydrating Lipstick ($25 for 0.1 oz/ 3 g of product at Sephora) in the shade Buttercup (light pink nude). I applied a coat of ColourPop BFF Mascara ($9 for 0.24 oz / 6.80 g of product at Ulta) in the shade Black on Black and popped on a pair of Beauty Creations 3D SILK LASHES ($4.99 on their website) in the style Reyna. I set my face using ColourPop Pretty Fresh Hyaluronic Acid Setting Mist ($12 for 3.72 oz of product at Ulta). For touch ups I am using Milani Conceal + Perfect Shine-Proof Powder ($10.99 for 0.43 oz / 12.3 g of product on their website) in the shade 02 Nude .
It’s a shame that in the pictures the colors look gold… the lime green metallic shade is so STUNNING and paired with the gold liner at the top it’s just so perfect and posh.
ColourPop Lush Life 12 Pan Palette ($18 but on sale for $12.60 for 0.5 oz / 14.20 g of total product on their website making it 0.0416 oz / 1.183 g and $1.50 or $1.05 on sale per shade) and is billed as Toucan play with this richly saturated 12-pan palette! Create a lush and vibrant look with this colorful palette, featuring rainforest inspired hues in a mix of shimmering metallics and bright pops of blendable mattes. The colors in this palette are Eco (pale yellow – matte), Wild Life (butter yellow – metallic), It’s Paradise (green gold – metallic), Guava (terracotta – matte), Hotness (red coral – metallic), Palm Palm (bright lime – metallic), Juicy (rich emerald – metallic), Hideaway (vivid copper with pink pinpoints – metallic), Noni (red clay – matte), On the Prowl (emerald – matte), Monsoon (navy – matte) and Eden (rich brown – matte).
I give this palette a solid A+++!!! : I knew I would like this palette, but I didn’t think I would love it. The metallics are amazingly vibrant and the mattes are perfectly buttery smooth. There was a tinny bit of kick back in the pans and no fall out on the face. The vibrancy of the shadows lasted all day. Definitely a great purchase.
ColourPop BFF Crème Gel Liner ($7 but on sale for $4.90 for 0.01 oz / 0.2 g of product on their website) in the shade A Glow (metallic lime with a gold shift).
I grade this liner a solid A+++!!! : In my haul post I said this was my favorite shade of the trio of shades released in this collection… I freaking love this liner!!! It’s got that cool duo chrome shift of gold and looks stunning on the waterlines. I didn’t have to reapply it and it really made my eyes pop.
Well that’s all dolls. I hope you enjoy the rest of your day/night and that you are in great spirits and health.
🥄 Remember… Save a spoon for a bit of lipstick 🥄
