Hey doll hey!!! How’s your Wednesday day/night going? Great I hope. I’m doing pretty good today.
Tiny Decisions chose a Pinterest look for me today… This is the look I chose to recreate….

And this is my recreation:

I think it turned out OK… I couldn’t put the glitter liner in the actual crease like the model did in the post because I have semi hooded eyelids and this wouldn’t have worked out.
I used 2 shades from the BH Cosmetics Smitten in Switzerland 16 Pan Palette ($17 but on sale for $6.80 for 0.56 oz / 16 g of total product at Ulta making it 0.035 oz / 1 g and $1.06 per shade and $0.43 per shade on sale) and the Nabla Secret Palette ($39 for 0.46 oz / 13.1 g of total product at Ulta making it 0.036 oz / 0.873 g and $2.6 per shade).
Today’s scent is:

Top Notes: Cascalone (a synthetic ingredient that adds a fresh aquatic fruity scent to perfumes), White Pepper and Mandarin Leaf.
Heart Notes: Peony, Jasmine Sambac, Black Rose, and Geranium.
Base Notes: Woody Notes, Musk and Patchouli
What I think about this scent: This is a very warm floral scent that I tend to reach for when I’m wearing jeans and sneakers. It’s not over powering so it’s perfect for day time, work, office appointments, and health appointments.
Now on to the walk through of today’s Face of the Day….

Eyes and Brows:

I set my brows using got2b glued styling spiking hair glue by Schwarzkopf ($14.91 for 3, 6 oz tubes on Amazon, it’s also sold at most drug and big box stores). I brushed the gel through my brows and used the handle of my spoolie brush to flatten my brows out and once they dried I feathered my brows with L.A. Girl Brow Pomade ($5.99 for 0.27 oz / 7.65 g of product at Ulta) in the shade Dark Brown. I carved out my brows and primed my lids using P.Louise Base ($13.88, £10 for 0.504 fl oz / 15 mL on their website) in the shade Rumour 05. For today’s eye look I used 2 shades from the BH Cosmetics Smitten in Switzerland 16 Pan Palette ($17 but on sale for $6.80 for 0.56 oz / 16 g of total product at Ulta making it 0.035 oz / 1 g and $1.06 per shade and $0.43 per shade on sale) and the Nabla Secret Palette ($39 for 0.46 oz / 13.1 g of total product at Ulta making it 0.036 oz / 0.873 g and $2.6 per shade). I started with the Nabla palette.. I used the shade Ghibli (salted caramel – super matte) as my transition shade today. I started in the crease and buffed it all the way to the brow line. I then used a small top pencil brush and mapped out the cut crease using the shade Mea Culpa (deep warm brown – super matte). I then took a small flat brush and buffed the Mea Culpa (deep warm brown – super matte) shade out. I then went back in with more of Ghibli (salted caramel – super matte) to buff the harsh line of the deep brown out more. I then took a concealer brush dipped into micellar water and carved out a full cut crease. I then primed the newly cut crease with more P.Louise Base ($13.88, £10 for 0.504 fl oz / 15 mL on their website) in the shade Rumour 05 and set that and my brow line using the shade Snowcap (soft cream – matte) from the Smitten palette. I then took the NYX Glitter Goals Liquid Eyeliner ($8 for 0.13 oz / 3.69 g of product at Ulta) in the shade Diamond Dust (silver). For the lower lash line I created a drop shadow using more of the shade Ghibli (salted caramel – super matte and then the shade Chocolate (deep brown – matte) from the Smitten palette along the lower lash line. I highlighted the inner corners of my eyes using Play Hard (aqua green duochrome w/ lime and jade reflects – crystal) from the Nabla palette. I tightlined the upper and lower water lines using Loreal Infallible Pro-Last Waterproof Pencil Eyeliner ($8.99 for 0.042 oz / 1.19 g of product at Ulta) in the shade Black. I then created a thick wing liner using Inglot AMC Eyeliner Gel ($21 for 0.19 oz / 5.5 g of product on the Beautylish website and on the Inglot website) in the shade 77 (black). For added dimension I added more of the NYX Glitter Goals Liquid Eyeliner ($8 for 0.13 oz / 3.69 g of product at Ulta) in the shade Diamond Dust (silver) to the center of the bottom lash line.
Complexion:

I primed my facing using ColourPop Pretty Fresh Hydrating Hyaluronic Acid Primer ($12 for 1 fl oz / 30 mL of product at Ulta). My foundation today is Flower Beauty Light Illusion Liquid Foundation ($14.29 for 1 fl oz / 30 mL of product at Ulta) in the shade Natural Beige. I color corrected my under eyes using Tarte Colored Clay CC Undereye Corrector ($25 for 0.08 oz / 2.27 g of product at Ulta and Sephora) in the shade Light/Medium. For concealer I used Milk Makeup Flex Concealer ($28 for 0.2 oz/ 5.9 mL of product at Sephora) in the shade Crème (very fair with warm peach undertones). I contoured using Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Stick ($25 for 0.35 oz / 9.92 g of product at Ulta and Sephora) in the shade Mink (toasted almond) and bronzed using Juvia’s Place Shade Stick Foundation ($16 but on sale for $6 for 0.34 oz / 9.7 g of product on their website) in the shade Guinea (dark with neutral undertones). I highlighted the high points of my face using BECCA Ignite Liquified Light Face & Body Highlighter ($38 for 1.5 oz/ 45 mL of product at Sephora) in the shade Passion (pale, incandescent pearl that reflects gold).
Cheeks, Lips, Lashes and Touch Ups:

Today’s cream blush is NARS Liquid Blush ($30 for 0.5 oz/ 15 mL of product at Sephora) in the shade Orgasm (peachy pink with golden shimmer). I set my under eyes using BECCA Under Eye Brightening Setting Powder (on longer available as company is going out of business) and the rest of my face using BECCA Hydra-Mist Set & Refresh ($39 for 0.35 oz/ 10 g of product at Sephora). I just could not stand it. I touched up my bronzer using MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural Face Powder ($37 for 0.35 oz 9.92 g of product at Ulta) in the shade Give Me Sun (light summer peach tan). I lined my lips using ColourPop Lippie Pencil ($6 on their website) in the shade Bichette (deepened red). I then filled in my lips using ColourPop Lippie Stix (normally $7 but this shade was limited edition) in the shade Lucky Charm (neutral deepened red). I applied a coat of ColourPop BFF Mascara ($9 for 0.24 oz / 6.80 g of product at Ulta) in the shade Black on Black and popped on a pair of Beauty Creations 3D SILK LASHES ($4.99 on their website) in the style Reyna. I set my face using ColourPop Pretty Fresh Hyaluronic Acid Setting Mist ($12 for 3.72 oz of product at Ulta). For touch ups I am using Milani Conceal + Perfect Shine-Proof Powder ($10.99 for 0.43 oz / 12.3 g of product on their website) in the shade 02 Nude .
Final Thoughts:

I think this look is super pretty but I think I would have cut the crease a little bit closer to the mobile lids because the cream shadow kept creasing on me. Other than that I really liked this Pinterest inspired look and would be keen to wear it again.
Well that’s all dolls. I hope you enjoy the rest of your day/night and that you are in great spirits and health.
👄 Remember, Save a spoon for a bit of lipstick 👄

Awwww thank you!!! It’s all about the brushes you use. To get a really sharp cut crease you need to use a small detailed brush like a lip brush or a tiny flat shadder brush to cut the crease and then to also apply the primer over top.
