Hey doll hey!!! How’s your Friday day/night going? Great I hope. I wasn’t able to do anything yesterday. I had a bad fall in my kitchen Wednesday night and was in so much pain Thursday that all I could do was lay on the sofa. I’m still experiencing some pain today but nowhere as bad as it was Thursday.
Since I wasn’t able to do makeup Thursday I combined Thursday’s planned look (cat eye) with today’s planned look (neutral).

Today’s scent is:

Top Notes: Raspberry, Strawberry, Orange, Tangerine, Pear , Bergamot and Calone.
Heart Notes: Jasmine Sambac, Chinese Jasmine, Peony, Orange Blossom and Datura.
Base Notes: Indonesian Patchouli Leaf, Patchouli, Vanilla, Whit Musk, Moss, Ambroxan and Cedar/
What I think about this scent: This is one of those classically sexy scents that pairs well with everything and anything you want to wear. It’s calm enough for daytime use (office, school, doctor appointments) but has just enough spiciness to it that it works perfect for nighttime adventures.
On to the walk through for today’s Face of the Day…..

Eyes and Brows:

I set my brows using got2b glued styling spiking hair glue by Schwarzkopf ($14.91 for 3, 6 oz tubes on Amazon, it’s also sold at most drug and big box stores). I brushed the gel through my brows and used the handle of my spoolie brush to flatten my brows out and once they dried I feathered my brows with L.A. Girl Brow Pomade ($5.99 for 0.27 oz / 7.65 g of product at Ulta) in the shade Dark Brown. I carved out my brows and primed my lids using P.Louise Base ($13.88, £10 for 0.504 fl oz / 15 mL on their website) in the shade Rumour 05. For today’s eye look I used 2 shades from the BH Cosmetics Smitten in Switzerland 16 Pan Palette ($17 but on sale for $6.80 for 0.56 oz / 16 g of total product at Ulta making it 0.035 oz / 1 g and $1.06 per shade and $0.43 per shade on sale), the Nabla Secret Palette ($39 for 0.46 oz / 13.1 g of total product at Ulta making it 0.036 oz / 0.873 g and $2.6 per shade) and the ColourPop Lush Life 12 Pan Palette ($18 but on sale for $12.60 for 0.5 oz / 14.20 g of total product on their website making it 0.0416 oz / 1.183 g and $1.50 or $1.05 on sale per shade). I started by applying the shade Fondue (nude blush – matte) from the Smitten palette all over the lids (from lash line to brow line). I then went into the Nabla palette and took the shade Ghibli (salted caramel – super matte) as my transition shade. I then went into the Lush Palette and took the shade Eden (rich brown – matte) as the outer 1/3 of the mobile lid and the outer v of the crease. I then took the shade Chocolate (deep brown – matte) from the Smitten palette over the very outer part of the outer v and outer 1/3 of the mobile lids. I took the shade Mea Culpa (deep warm brown – super matte) from the Nabla palette and tapped that over the the middle of the outer 1/3 and middle 1/3 of the mobile lid, up to the brow line to create a gradient effect. For the inner 2/3 of the mobile lids I used a combo of the shades Wild Life (butter yellow – metallic) from the Lush palette, and the shades I Promise (light pink champagne – satin) and Hypersensual (trichrome w/ apricot, amber e orchid reflects – diamond) from the Nabla palette. For the lower lash line I created a deep drop shadow using more of the shade Ghibli (salted caramel – super matte). I highlighted the inner corners of the eyes using a combo of the Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter ($36 for 0.24 oz / 7 g of total product on the Sephora website making it 0.12 oz / 3.5 g and $18 per shade) in the shade Mean Money/Hu$tla Baby (soft champagne sheen / supercharged peachy champagne shimmer).I tightlined my upper and lower water lines using Sephora Collection 12 Hour Contour Pencil Eyeliner ($11 for 0.04 oz/ 1.2 g at Sephora) in the shade Cocoa (shimmery chocolate brown). I then took Inglot AMC Gel Eyeliner ($21 for 0.194 oz / 5.5 g of product on their website) in the shade 90 (deep brown) and created a sharp medium wing to the tear duct and then I took the KVD Beauty Tattoo Eyeliner ($21 for 0.019 oz/ 0.55 mL of product at Sephora) in the shade Mad Max (brown) and created a triangle extending past my tear ducts to create that classic cat eye look.
Complexion:

I primed my face using Believe Beauty Pretty and Primed Hydrating Primer ($5 for 1 fl oz /30 mL of product only at Dollar General Stores) and then contoured using Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Stick ($25 for 0.35 oz / 9.92 g of product at Ulta and Sephora) in the shade Mink (toasted almond). For foundation I chose ColourPop Pretty Fresh Hyaluronic Acid Tinted Moisturizer ($14 for 1.45 fl oz / 43 mL of product at Ulta) in the shade Medium 10 N (neutral undertone). I color corrected my under eyes using Tarte Colored Clay CC Undereye Corrector ($25 for 0.08 oz / 2.27 g of product at Ulta and Sephora) in the shade Light/Medium. For concealer I am using Uoma Stay Woke Luminous Brightening Concealer ($25 for 0.17 fl oz / 5.03 mL of product at Ulta) in the shade White Peral T1 (for very fair skin). I bronzed using Juvia’s Place Shade Stick Foundation ($16 but on sale for $6 for 0.34 oz / 9.7 g of product on their website) in the shade Guinea (dark with neutral undertones). I highlighted the high points of my face using BECCA Ignite Liquified Light Face & Body Highlighter ($38 for 1.5 oz/ 45 mL of product at Sephora) in the shade Passion (pale, incandescent pearl that reflects gold).
Cheeks, Lips, Lashes and Touch Ups:

My cream blush today is NARS The Multiple ($39 for 0.50 oz / 14 g of product on their website) in the shade Portofino (Shimmering Coral). I set my under eyes using BECCA Under Eye Brightening Setting Powder (on longer available as company is going out of business) and the rest of my face using BECCA Hydra-Mist Set & Refresh ($39 for 0.35 oz/ 10 g of product at Sephora). I just could not stand it. I touched up my bronzer using MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural Face Powder ($37 for 0.35 oz 9.92 g of product at Ulta) in the shade Give Me Sun (light summer peach tan) and my highlighter using both shades from the Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter ($36 for 0.24 oz / 7 g of total product on the Sephora website making it 0.12 oz / 3.5 g and $18 per shade) in the shade Mean Money/Hu$tla Baby (soft champagne sheen / supercharged peachy champagne shimmer). I lined my lips using NYX Suede Matte Lip Liner ($4 for 0.03 oz / 0.85 g of product at Ulta) in the shade Whipped Caviar (muted plum) and then topped my lips using ColourPop Lippie Stix ($7 on their website) in the shade Nice Things (pinky coral) and then I topped that with ColourPop Lux Gloss ($9 on their website) in the shade Peace Lily (pinky terracotta with pinpoints of gold and silver pearl). I applied a coat of ColourPop BFF Mascara ($9 for 0.24 oz / 6.80 g of product at Ulta) in the shade Black on Black and popped on a pair of Beauty Creations 3D SILK LASHES ($4.99 on their website) in the style Reyna. I set my face using ColourPop Pretty Fresh Hyaluronic Acid Setting Mist ($12 for 3.72 oz of product at Ulta). For touch ups I am using Milani Conceal + Perfect Shine-Proof Powder ($10.99 for 0.43 oz / 12.3 g of product on their website) in the shade 02 Nude .
Final Thoughts:

I love the simplicity of a good neutral eye look but pairing it with a cat eye liner really punches up the glam factor. This may just be my favorite look of this week.
Well that’s all dolls. I hope you enjoy the rest of your day/night and that you are in great spirits and health.
👄 Remember, Save a spoon for a bit of lipstick 👄
