Hey doll hey!! How’s your Saturday day/night going? Great I hope. I’m doing OK today.
It’s the last day of week #1 stash box. Next week’s stash box post will be up shortly.

Today’s scent is :

Top Notes: Pink Water Lily, Mandarin Orange and Star Anise.
Heart Notes: Gardenia and Coconut Water.
Base Notes: Tahitian Vanilla, Musk and Amber.
What I think of this scent: This scent is so romantic. I love the warmth and the way it finishes with a light floral scent.
Now on to to the walk through for today’s Face of the Day….

Eyes and Brows:

I set my brows using got2b glued styling spiking hair glue by Schwarzkopf ($14.91 for 3, 6 oz tubes on Amazon, it’s also sold at most drug and big box stores). I brushed the gel through my brows and used the handle of my spoolie brush to flatten my brows out and once they dried I feathered my brows with L.A. Girl Brow Pomade ($5.99 for 0.27 oz / 7.65 g of product at Ulta) in the shade Dark Brown. I carved out my brows and primed my lids using P.Louise Base ($13.88, £10 for 0.504 fl oz / 15 mL on their website) in the shade Rumour 05. For today’s eye look I used 2 shades from the BH Cosmetics Smitten in Switzerland 16 Pan Palette ($17 but on sale for $6.80 for 0.56 oz / 16 g of total product at Ulta making it 0.035 oz / 1 g and $1.06 per shade and $0.43 per shade on sale), the Nabla Secret Palette ($39 for 0.46 oz / 13.1 g of total product at Ulta making it 0.036 oz / 0.873 g and $2.6 per shade) and the ColourPop Wine and Only Palette ($14 for 0.30 oz / 9 g of total product on their website making it 0.033 oz / 1 g and $1.55 per shade). I started by setting my brow line using the Smitten palette and the shade Snowcap (soft cream – matte). I then went into the shade Fondue (nude blush – matte) from the same palette to use as an all over shade from lids to brow line. I then worked on definition going into the Nabla palette I used the shade Contigo (mid tone rosy-beige – super matte) and placed that on the inner and outer 1/3 of the mobile lids and the crease about both sides and then over the middle of the crease. I then went in to the Wine and Only palette. With the shade major chianti (mauve rose – matte) I placed the shade on the inner and outer 1/3 of the mobile lid. I then took the shade vinter (deep merlot – matte) and placed that 1/2 wat in on both the inner and outer 1/3 of the mobile lids and the crease above them. I then went into the shade Nightfall (deep black – matte) from the Smitten palette and lightly deepened the very outer parts of the inner and outer 1/3 of the mobile lids. I then took a clean fluffy blending brush and buffed out all the harsh edges sweeping in towards the center of the crease to join the sides together. I tapped a very light amount of P.Louise Base ($13.88, £10 for 0.504 fl oz / 15 mL on their website) in the shade Rumour 05 over the middle 1/3 of the mobile lid and crease. I then tapped the shade play to wine (true ruby – metallic) all over the middle 1/3 of the mobile lids and crease. I then took the shade blanc (warm rose gold – metallic) over the very center of the middle 1/3 of the lids. For the lower lash lines I used more of the shade Contigo (mid tone rosy-beige – super matte) from the Nabla palette to create a deep drop shadow and then more of the shade play to wine (true ruby – metallic) from the Wine & Only palette close to the lash lines to create depth. I then buffed the whole under eye area with more of the shade vinter (deep merlot – matte). I lined my lower water lines using Handaiyan Waterproof Crème Gel Liner (sold on Amazon and Allie Express) in the shade #16 (burgundy red – metallic). I highlighted the inner corners of my eyes using the shade butterscotch (pearlized warm metallic gold) from the highlighter in my ColourPop Cookie Cluster Blush Palette ($12 for 0.30 oz / 8.6 g of total product on their website making it 0.075 oz / 2.15 g and $3 per shade).

For touch ups I am using Milani Conceal + Perfect Shine-Proof Powder ($10.99 for 0.43 oz / 12.3 g of product on their website) in the shade 02 Nude .
Final Thoughts:

This look is pretty but I really struggled to get it right. I had started my makeup around 8 AM and by 10:30 washed off all the makeup, took a breather for a few hours and then came back and attempted it again. I really think halo eyes are stunning but for some reason when ever I use berry or smokey colors it takes forever for the halo to come together. It’s all up to practice…. I’ll get better the longer I attempt it.
Well that’s all dolls. I hope you enjoy the rest of your day/night and that you are in great spirits and health.
👄 Remember, Save a spoon for a bit of lipstick 👄
